HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC Bluetooth Headset Connectivity with Sony

Hi,
I have bought HP Pavilion 15 Notebook (n208tx) a few days earlier. I want to buy Sony SBH 20B bluetooth headsets to use both for my sony xperia smart phone and my HP Pavalion. In this sony headset link, under bluetooth section > compatible profiles list is given. How do I get to know whether my HP pavalion supprots these profiles or not? I simply want to know whether I can use music controls on this headset like play/pause,forward/backward while listenong to the songs and the call reacive button while using skype or google hangout.
    Please provide urgent reply.

Hi SujitDeshmukh,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion 15-n208tx Notebook and using a Sony SBH 20B Bluetooth headset. It shows me this device is for a Smartphone.

  • How do I get my Motorola S10-HD bluetooth headset to work with the iPhone5?

My excellent Motorola S10-HD bluetooth headset worked fine with my 4S but I can't get it to even be recognized by my new iPhone5...does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Try resetting the sd10-hd .  That solved my problem. I was able to pair with my iPhone 5.
Follow this link to instruction to reset the s10-hd, https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/ 59350/p/1422,2690,7709
Essentially hold down the + and 0 (power button) until the LED turns blue. Then power off the headset and power on.  Put the iPhone in discoverable mode and they should now sync.

  • If JAWBONE bluetooth headset cannot pair with my iphone

if Jawbone bluetooth headset cannot pair with my iphone but able to pair with another iphone, is that bluetooth issue with my iphone, thanks?

Possibly - but, are you certain you are properly putting the Jawbone in discoverable mode? You must do that to pair it with the iPhone. A Jawbone headset certainly can be paired with the iPhone. Have you tried pairing any other headset with the iPhone?

  • Bluetooth headset not working with 2008 Macbook!

    Hello,
I just got a new Macbook and love it!
But, the other day I tried out my Bluetooth headset and the A2DP headphone choice works great.
But when I change it to headset for use with skype I can hear the person but all they hear is weird repeating static. I listened to myself with skype call testing service and it sounds bad. I looked in preferences of sound and most of the sound bars are purple and moving as if
i am yelling into the microphone. I know it is not the headset for it works with my cellphone and eMac.
Anything I do to the headset doesn't solve this or even brake the pattern in the purple bars.
I turned off the headset when it was showing these bars and they kept going.
It is not the headset. The Macbook is capable of receiving files through Bluetooth so it is not the input of Bluetooth that is the problem.
Also, when I first started the microphone of the headset it was clear then after a couple seconds it started to drown out my voice then it was gone, replaced by shhhhhhchhh.
My headset is a Plantronics 590E.
    Thanks,
    MIBM

    Yes, thank you.
I was recently on Vacation and scheduled a Genius Bar visit and they tested my headset with another Macbook and same thing. I am very mad at Apple after finding this out. I had a feeling it was drivers or something but obviously could not test seeing as I only have one computer running Leopard, eMac runs Tiger. I actually have a third party bluetooth dongle working with my eMac. It is an Iogear dongle and on the box it says all features work with Mac and then I plugged it in and was unable to turn on/off and couldn't use headsets, then after hours of research I found a forum and downloaded a Broadcom driver and voila! it worked. That is also why I wasn't sure if it was a driver problem or hardware.
If anyone needs a tutorial and the driver for a broadcom bluetooth USB dongle I would be happy to help.
    Thanks,
    MIBM

  • Plantronics 655 bluetooth headset not working with macbook pro

No help here.... having the same issue with my Pantronics 975.

  • Bluetooth headset not working with flash files

Just got a Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headset. Works just fine, except when viewing clips at YouTube. Not only is there no sound, the clip freezes after a few seconds. I believe they are Adobe Flash. Now this is on my new late 2007 MacBook with Leopard.
So I figure I'll try the headset on my Intel 1.66 Mac Mine with Tiger 10.4.10. Same thing
    Any ideas.

Apparently Apple cheaped out on the Bluetooth support in the Tiger OS X (or an official profile wasn't even available)....something to do with not having Stereo Headset support.
It is possible to circumvent it: http://blog.david.connolly.name/2007/06/stereo-bluetooth-profile-a2dp-on-mac-os. html However, as indicated on the top of that topic - it is outdated (and IMO too much effort).
In a nutshell - you're being quietly coaxed in to buying Leopard OS X - which does have the Stereo Bluetooth profile installed.
What I don't get is why Apple can't release to us a nice little patch for Tiger to give us the full use of our Bluetooth hardwares.

  • Is bluetooth headset BH103 compatible with nokia 2...

    Hi
    I have a Nokia 2630.
I would like to know if the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-103 is  compatible with the Nokia 2630 phone.
    Cheers.
    Shashi

The BH-700 is not a stereo music device and the handset needs a wired headphone to act as an arial when using the radio function.
Therefore the BH-700 cannot do this.
Once a wired headet is connected, the phone will always drop the bluetooth connection.

  • Has anyone found a Bluetooth Headset that works with Skype?

I have been reading reviews and I can't find anyone who has found a Bluetooth headset that successfully works with Skype with Leopard...
    anyone?

    Hi there...
I have the Jabra BT125 and I have a new Mac Book Pro on it's way. The headset is actually something I already had for my cell phone. And now I'm hoping to use it for skype as well. What I think I lack is the Blue Tooth adapter. I was looking for one that I can power via USB rather than the ones you have to charge. I also have a logitech V320 optical mouse. Do you think the blue tooth adapter can run both the mouse and the headset as not to take up too many USB ports at the same time? (I envision my computer eventually resembling that guy from He11 Raiser! with all the pins sticking out of it) Anyway... Jabra says the BT125 supports Bluetooth version 2. I'm not sure if the mouse is similar or not... (I'm actually really new to all this lingo and I just assume the wireless capability of the mouse is bluetooth... The specs say it's a "microreceiver") Any comments, experiences or suggestions are really appreciated... thanks!!!

  • Bluetooth headset not pairing with my n73

my stereo bluetooth headset arrived yesterday, charged it for the recommended initial eight hours. now this morning i am trying to pair it with my n73 music edition but my phone is not seeing it. how can i fix this. this is really frustrating, latest firmware is installed so that means a2dp is suppose to be added, so why doesn't it work.
    everything happens for a reason
check out my blog @ http://mycellife.blogspot.com/

ok. got it working. i wasn't setting pairing mode on the headset properly. well its working as of now and the sound quality is ok, missing the deepness of the base i was getting with the wired headset it came with, but its much louder, maybe too loud cause the volume level was almost at its lowest setting.
its one from sonyericsson by the way.

  • Which bluetooth headset works well with iPhone

I was very happy with a Plantronics bluetooth headset for a long time, until it broke. Now I have tested three Plantonics bluetooth sets with my iPhone4 and all had connection problems, which I never had with my Android phone. People keep saying "I can't hear you" unless I put the iPhone in front of my mouth. I don't know why. So, which bluetooth headset have worked well for you with your iPhone?

there are 2 types of bluetooth headsets
the traditional headset which is typical mono and connect to 1 ear and only do phone calls
then there is the a2dp which is typical stereo and play all audio also games, video and music
a2dp is typical bigger being stereo and all and often cost more

  • Unable to get Bluetooth Headset Profile working with mic on Toshiba BT Stac

    Hi.
I am having problems using my Motorola HT-820 Stereo headset, with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack installed on Vista Home Premium 32bit laptop.
I am unable to get the mic to function at all, so cannot use it for Skype / VOIP calls etc. Features such as the A2DP and AVRCP work fine, and I can listen to music via media player without issues.
I have read in a FAQ on this site, to make sure I use the Custom Setup option rather than Express Setup when adding the device, but it doesnt seem to make any difference, am I missing a step here?
In the Windows Recording device properties, I can see the option listed for Bluetooth Mic, but even setting it as the default device doesnt work.
I know from connecting my headset to my Desktop PC which uses the Widdcom bluetooth stack, that i can use the Headset/mic function, but this stack seems to work differently, as in I can select the headset option within the bluetooth settings, but I cannot see such an option withing the Toshiba stack - and i think this is where the problem is.
I have updated to the latest Toshiba stack from this web site, but this has not helped any.
Any help here would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Matt

    Hello Matt
Unfortunately I can not help you with this but if I am remembering well here on BT section someone already asked something similar. Please take a little bit time and check BT section on this forum.
You can also visit FAQ section on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/

  • What Bluetooth headset will work with my Bravia KD-65X9000B TV

I want to buy some wireless headset for my 4k TV , but I don't know what to get and more importantly what will wok. I don't want to spend much money and I want to connect two headsets..please help.

Hello! First of all, the model number KD-65X900B does not match with the SONY models number actually, maybe your panel is the XBR-65X900B. So, according to my investment, this product is only compatible with a few Bluetooth device, for example a Mice bluetooth, you can find more info right here: http://docs.esupport.sony.com/imanual/NA/2014/XBR-55_65X900B/uc_uen/c_gset_bluetooth.html By the way, you may consider to buy the MDR-RF985RK, Wireless Radio Frequency Headphones, those one will be compatible for sure, due to you may connect them into headphone input jack of your new brand TV. Hope it works! Sam
