HP Photosmart 6510 cannot print in Parallels for Mac using Windows 7

I currently use the above model of printer with my Macbook (OSX Mountain Lion) and have no problems printing with the MAC.
The problem is when I am in virtual machine mode (Parallels Desktop 8) and trying to print from Windows 7.
Although it seems to be recognising the printer, it is telling me the printer is 'offline: 1 document waiting'.
The Parallels support pages say that printers should work automatically.
Can anyone help?

Sounds like a bit of a mixed setup here, where you are using a Macintosh with Windows loaded onto the system. My first question is on the profile you are working with have you loaded the appropriate drivers from the website for the Windows machine? Here is a link for that :

I'm having the same issue - when I try to change any print options iTunes freezes and I have to end the process in Task Manager... I was trying to turn off duplex printing and the printer option screen wouldn't take any input. I changed the default printer properties to turn off duplex; iTunes did not reflect the updated preferences. It looks like there is an unknown issue with the printer setup module - guess that doesn't get much use anymore or Q/A should have picked up the issue...

I still using my blackberry Bold 9700 a long time and I am happy with this device. I no switched to a Mac and my problems started, Unfortunately I can't sync with the Desktop Manager (2.0) my calendar. It create a problem: Can't sync please try it again
I tried the proposed ideas (forget device..) but there was no solution.
In general I only like to "copy" the calendar datas from my BB to ical. (so one way), but also I can't find to select this choice, only two way or no sync.

Parallel for MAC ejects Windows frequently

I have Windows XP in my MacPro thanks to Parallel. But frequently, when I am in Windows, either running an excel file, or a Word document or scrolling through Internet using Explorer, I am suddenly ejected from Parallel (and thus Windows)with no warning. I have a colleague with a MacBookPro with also Parallel to install Windows, and she faces the same problems me.
Has anybody also experienced this problem ? And if yes how was it solved?

Photosmart 6510 not printing photo in colour

I have a Mac OS X 10.8.4 and I am new to it. I have a photosmart 6510 wireless printer, and I am trying to print off a colour photo. Each time I print, the printer goes through the motions of printing and it sounds as though, it is printing - quite slowly, which is the norm for photo's. However, when the machine has finished, the photo paper is completely blank, can any one tell me what I am doing wrong? have checked my ink levels and each cartridge is almost half full. I am having the same problem... I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and a photosmart 6510 printer, and I am trying to print a color photo on 4x6 photo paper -- I have done this before with no problem from various applications. But now, each time I print, the printer goes through the motions of printing and it sounds as though it is printing, but when it's finished, the photo paper has come out completely blank. Dell Dimension desktop sometimes won't communicate with my HP Photosmart 6510 wireless printer

At random times, when trying to print from Dell Dimension desktop to HP Photosmart 6510 wireless printer, I get a message that the computer can't communicate with the printer. The printer shows that it is connected to the Internet. I haven't changed any settings. Each time this happens, I unplug the printer and router, but it doesn't fix the problem. After about 20 minutes or so, it prints normally. It always happens at the most inopportune times. Any suggestions about how I can keep this from recurring?

These settings are for setting up your wireless printer to stay connected to your router, keeps wireless devices better connected and makes your router secure and hack proof.
1. Set a static IP in the printer (see step 6) outside the DHCP range of the router (check your manual).
2. Verify in the printer that 'Auto Off' is disabled. Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) by going to the
    printers IP address in your browsers address bar, click Settings Tab/Auto Off. Or use the Printer
    Assistant, Printer Home Page (EWS).
In the router: (Refer to your router manual for information)
3. Use a fixed wireless channel like 1,6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.
4. Set router to 20Mhz only, or 145Mbps depending on router.
5. Always use WPA2-AES (Personal) encryption, but you can try ‘mixed’ mode.
6. Disable WPS and never use it and disable UPnP for the routers security. Nobody can hack your
   system now and helps with wireless connectivity (if you want to know why, search the web).
7. If you have a dual band router (2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz bands), make sure the SSID’s are NOT the same,
   they must be different for all bands, even for any Guest networks.
8. Save all settings. Power off both, wait 5 mins. Power on router wait 3 mins.
9. Power on printer and verify it reconnects to router.
Windows 7/8/8.1   Is Network Discovery on or off?
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings.
Under Home or Work (current profile) \ Network Discovery.
Select "Turn on network discovery" and save changes.

The pre-release time is a development period when HP develops and tests printer driver solutions. HP’s current plan is for Windows 8 compatible printers to be available when the new operating system is released to the public. HP is working with Microsoft to include drivers in the Windows 8 operating system for HP printers introduced in recent years.
There may be a variety of sources for a printer driver/solution for your HP printer on a computer running Windows 8 Release Preview.
inOS:
An in-Operating System (inOS) driver is a basic driver that is included within the operating system. You do not need to download or install any software from HP. Windows 8 Relase Preview contains several inOS drivers. If an inOS driver is available for your printer, you will have at least basic print capability with USB and Network and basic scan capability with USB only (if your printer supports scanning).
Windows Update:
There might be a more functional or more up-to-date driver available for your printer through Microsoft Windows Update. If Windows Update is enabled, then the Windows Update process activates automatically when you connect (USB and Network connections) the printer to the computer. It searches online for the most recent print driver on the Windows Update site. If the online driver is more functional than the currently installed driver in Windows 8, the computer downloads and installs this driver.

Although HP does not formally support any pre-release versions of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 8 Release Preview, we may supply some full functionality drivers* prior to the official release of Windows 8. I need a screen shot for a presentation. Is there a "print screen" command for Mac OS, analogous to Windows?

Ah! You're creating a PDF out of Word through Acrobat. The cutoff is most likely being affected by the printer chosen.
When you call up the print dialogue in Word, check to see what printer is being used. If it's a typical inkjet printer, Acrobat is using the print margins of that printer as the cutoff area. Since most such printers can't print to the last inch and half or so of the paper, that's where it would be cut off.
Near the bottom, under the preview of the document, click on the Page Setup button. It doesn't really matter which printer you select here. Under Paper Size, choose Manage Custom Sizes. Under the Non-Printable Area heading, choose the same printer and set the paper size you're using.
Note that the unprintable margins for that printer will be filled in automatically. That's what's being cut off. Click the + button to create a modified version. The default will be "Untitled". Give it a new name if you want. Then set all of the margins to zero. Click OK. Now you'll have that as a choice under Paper Size. Doesn't matter that the actual printer can't use this setting since you're going to a PDF. Click OK to get back to the main Word print dialogue.
Now choose Save as Adobe PDF. It should give you an exact duplicate of what's on screen in Word since as far as Acrobat is concerned, your "printer" has no unprintable margins.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report — they're very long and not helpful.
