HR Programming for Infotype 0041.

Hello,
The data come from infotype 0041.
The Date is stored in the field DATxx when DARxx is equal to 05. [xx can have the values from 01 to 12].
Can anyone suggest that how to to the retrieval for this.

I dont think any data is maintained by default in the system for that field.
Still that field can be used if you want to develop any upload program for the infotype and want to maintain it for future use also, you can always maintain that.
But if you want to upload data in the infotypes and thinking that this field may help you with any load program..........
Write one using HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA for that.

BADI's being used in MP000100 (module pool program for Infotype 1)

Hi,
In module pool program MP000100( for Infotype 1 i.e. HR related), what are the BADI's being used in PBO module of screen no- 2000 ?
I need to add some codes, if there is no BADI then where i can add codes as i need to default organizational field according to position ID field ?

Why do you need a BAdI for that? Your Business/Functional Analyst should be able to handle it using a feature via the Tcode PE03.
BTW, HRPAD00INFTY is one that can be useful.

Maintain Text in Infotype 0041 via LSMW

Hi,
Has anyone had success loading text into Infotype 0041 via lsmw?
I am trying to create an lsmw to maintain text in infotpye 0041. I follow the route PA30, then when in IT0041 I go to edit and maintain text.
The problem is that I get a syntax error because the field I am trying to update is RSTXP-TDLINE which is a length 0 and format type string. LSMW won't accept string fields so in the generated program for the lsmw the line reads: "tdline_01(000000) type c,". This obviously doesn't pass the syntax check.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I just tried to create a LSMW in my DEV environment. I didnt get any error when recording. I entered the text in IT41 without any issue. What I am getting in the source code is:

Issue with Dynamic Actions - Infotype 0041 Updation

Requirement :
I have to update the Date type-13 ( Resignation Date - DAR11 ) without Date ( DAT11 as Blank value - User will fill through Infogroup ) while performing the Termination action through PA40.
Added below code in V_T588z (0000):
I have added 186,188 Lines.Other lines are standard thing.

1. The above logic is not working for Finland ,other countries. For only India it is working.
2. Some times Date type-13 is coming twice while through the Infogroup-0041 screen twice,which is incorrect. The infotype-0041 should call only once.I have checked the User parameters,MOLGA,USR. But it is not working.
2. The standard configuration Date type -09-Last day of work - is working fine . But i could not be able to find ,from where it is coming.I have checked the Dynamic actions,but no use.
Need your inputs to solve the issue.

Fields missing in Screen 2000 for Infotype 580

Hi,
In PA30, when I go to create or change or display mode for an employee in infotype 580, there are only 4 fields shown. There should actually be over 10 fields in the screen. I checked the layout for the screen 2000 of program MP058000 in SE51 and it had all the fields there. In table T588M there was no entry with the module program name MP058000. I created an entry with this program for screen 2000, and chose the radio button Standard ( The first one) for all the fields that were there and still the screen in PA30 has only 4 fields.
Can anyone please help with this issue?
Additional Info: When i chose create or change for IT0580 in PA30 for an employee, there was a status message saying screen was modified, and that were i got the table name that i've mentioned above.

Please check the hiring date of employee to whom you are trying to enter and check the employee who joined before this financial year. If i am right, this info type screens are depends on hiring date of employee, if i am right..
At the same time, Please check the control record period also.

Error : 'No object identification permitted for infotype 0582, subtype LTA'

Hi Experts,
               While executing the program 'HINUINFO_UPDATE'
i am getting an error 'No object identification permitted for infotype 0582, subtype LTA'.
               After the approval for LTA claim is done in ESS i have executed the program 'HINUINFO_UPDATE' to update he infotypes 15 and 582. Infotype 15 is getting created but while creating the infotype 582 system gives the above error message.
             In the detailed error log system gives the following message.
                "You attempted to access a data record with the object identification 1. However, according to the Customizing settings, object identifications cannot be used for subtype LTA of infotype 0582".
        Can anybody please assist me how to solve this problem. Helpful answers will be rewarded.

DAte not available in infotype 0041(date specification)

In our place we are using 4 type of "date type"
Z1 Hired date.
Z2 Seperation Date
Z3 Leave quota start
Z4 Service entry date
for all employees date specification maintain by dynamic action.
for some employees date specification is not maintain by the system.they are having only Z1 Hiring date only. others not available.
how can i rectify this problem?

You have to check your Dynamic action.
While querying dynamic ation how did you quaried, on which grouping you quried ?
The employee who dont get the details are members in that group are not?
if you give it in feature you must have all 4 dates to all the employees, otherwise you will be in trobuble
becuase SAP wont allow you fill the type only without date in infotype 0041

How to know if a date was modified in the infotype 0041

I have to validate if there was a modification in a date in the infotype 0041. The problem is when you change the value, I can't see in the table the way to know if it was modified.

AEDTM (Last changed date) will change if any if any field of the Infotype changes.
If you need to check it fieldwise then you can go for RPUAUD00 report which read data from PCL4 cluster.
to get the data out of Below tables RPUAUD00 has to be configured

HR ABAP How to Write BDC For Infotype 0586

Hi Experts
Can Any One tell me how to write BDC for Infotype 0586 and also 585.
If we enter into the maintaining Screen, the lines in the Screen will dynamically changing depending on the values.
When I am doing recording , If I press page down after entering values in top lines, the lines are changing and the records are not updating Correctly.
I need to write BDC to Create Change.

If you have that excessive experiance in ABAP then you wont any difficulty in HR ABAP. All you have to do is to examine the codes in HR ABAP Reports and different applications.
If you are dealing with Payroll, learn how to read payroll. How to read different clusters of HR. and there are tons of codes available for this. for example I came across few on www.****************. Moreover learn how to use macros and logical databases. Get yourself acquinted with HR tables.
As far as BSP is concerned, it will be real handy if you are working on Employee/Manager Self Service.
- If you compare HR ABAP with ABAP in Logistics then its very different. A different mind set is involved as emphasis shifts on dates and infotypes. The data fetching procedure is different than logistics. Here you use more logical databases and macros than Selects.

Updating infotype 0041 using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION?

Hi All:
How do we update the dates in infotype 0041 using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION? lets say we have 6 dates populated in 41 and we another employee has 9 dates populated. We are reading these records and need to update the dates for all the employee records.

Hi Venkata,
What you can do is use the HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION in Change or MOD(Modify) mode i.e.
pass 'MOD' in operation parameter.
Your recordnumber parameter should have the sequence number from infotype record you are updating (field SEQNR). All other parameters should be as it is had been for INS or insert operation.
