HR TEM - Function Module to Replace Attendee in the Background

Hi Experts,
We are on SAP 4.7.
We have a requirement to automate the Replace Attendee process(T code PV03) in TEM.
I need to ask, if there is any standard function module or BAPI like we have for Booking (BAPI_BOOK_ATTENDANCE) and for pre booking (BAPI_PREBOOK_ATTENDANCE) ?
i've checked the function Module RH_PARTICIPATION_REPLACE but it requires screen input and works in foreground.
If any one has any idea abou the function module or any other way to achieve this, the suggestion is highly appreciated.

Copied the Function Module RH_PARTICIPATION_REPLACE and created Z function module and suppressed the scrrens .
Its working fine.

Function Module not being displayed in the Transport Request

Hi,
I Created a FM "RH_ACTIVATE_WFOBJECT_AFTER_IMP" in my SAP System. After I created due to problem in editing I have deleted the FM and also deleted it from the request.
I have re created the function module and if I see the object directory entry I find the following
Identical request locks
Request User Task/request Object
**** ***** R3TR FUGR RHWS
In the request I cannot find the function module but only the function group. Please help me to get my function module visible in the transport request.

Hi ,
When your creating the FM for first timw with new FGRP then no need to worry .
You can see only the FGRP in the transport request number and when you move this transport request to further systems your FM automatically transport with the FGRP.
Next time when your creating a new FM under the FGRP which is already moved to production you can see only your FM name under the transport request.
When you go to FGRP main program by follwing the path
FGRP -> Disply FGRP in SE37 you can see the main program of the FGRP there if you see one include with TOP and XX .
double click on the XX Include.
there you can see allthe FM under that FGRP.

Function module is not working properly in background

Hi all,
i have used one Function module 'PRICING' in user exit SAPMV45A to calculate pricing for sales order.
i am using BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE to change the sales order pricing.
        when i run the program in foreground, all condition records for pricing is updated correctly. but it is not updating
correctly when i run the program in background.
   Please tell me wheather 'PRICING' or 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE' function module is not working properly in background ?
   or any other reason?

Can you provide some more information as to the type of error you are getting? Or can you check the log entries and give some more information so that it would be possible to provide a solution.

this kind of an authentication is not possible with the linksys SOHO products...it could be possible with the enterprise level products..
however, you can set up a wireless security on the wireless access point and this requires every user to enter the passcode to connect to the network...here , one problem could be that once connected to the network , the password will be saved on the user's computer...they need not enter the password again...
the set up you can have is like
modem -> a wired router -> WAP54GPE
the next WAP54GPE will be configured in wireless repeater mode...the number of WAPs will depend on the kinda range you want...the range of a WAP54GPE is around 300 fts....

Is there any Standard Function module thats going to find the status of the jobs and mail this status to specied email ID in .xls format. While checking status function module should give whether job is - Aborted, Successful, Running, Waiting, Locked, Error, Warning, Starting Date, Ending Date of the Job.

You can find out the status of a job with the SHOW_JOBSTATE function module. You provide this function module with a job name and job number. It returns one of the six possible statuses of the job:
ABORTED TYPE C,
FINISHED TYPE C,
PRELIMINARY TYPE C,
READY TYPE C,
RUNNING TYPE C,
SCHEDULED TYPE C.

I have another doubt also,when i add a role (example prospect) for a bp using the function module it works fine.but if i see the classification tab in bp transaction for that particular partner,the prospect check box is not checked.

I want to create a function module z_create which will insert the data from the internal tables gt_model_master and gt_model into the corresponding database custom tables y_model_master.
Secondly if any error is encountered during the above updation, then how to track those error records ?

Function module to replace CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ

Hi
I have a requirement in which I use the function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ to read the material BOM. The problem is that there is a huge chunk of data and for each record it calls the function module which is causing a performance issue.
I tried to replace the funtion module with a join on STKO, STPO . But the problem is that in the funtion module there is some logic in which it checks the validity date which comes from Change Number.
Is there any function module which I can replace the existing one or any logic which can be implemented in the join condition?

I'm not sure if this helps but here's a suggestion:-
Table MAST (Material to BOM Link) contains the BOM number for each material.
Tables STPO and STKO gives the information regarding BOM components.
Consequently:
Table STKO (BOM Header) can be linked to
Table STAS (BOMs - Item Selection) via:
STLNR (Bill of material) and
STLAL (Alternative BOM).
From this join you can then connect to the relevant entry in Table STPO (BOM item) via:
STLNR (Bill of material) and
STLKN (BOM item node number).
Within table STKO there is a field DATUV (Valid-from date) that can be used if you want to restrict the values based on validity date.

As the function module BBP_USER_GET_ATTRIBUTES is not available in SRM 7.0 system .Could any one please let me know if there is any other function module which will help to fetch the user attributes.

Hello Kalyani,
If you want to get all inherited and not inherited attributes for a user, use RH_OM_ATTRIBUTES_READ function modul.
Use import parameters :
- PLVAR = '01', (get from RH_GET_PLVAR function module)
- OTYPE = 'US',
- OBJID = username,
- SCENARIO = 'BBP'.
To know if attribute is inherited or not, check if field INHERIT from function module table ATTRIB_EXT is set or not. Nevertheless, this is true if you get attributes at position level (because user always inherits attributes from his/her position).

Function Module to Convert Amount to the Right Decimal

Hi,
There is a function module that helps convert currency without decimals into the right format. For eg if the amount in BSEG table is in Taiwanese Dollars it will be displayed as 17.95 whereas the real amount is 1795.
So there is a function module which will convert the amount of 17.95 to 1795 (which can be used in a report for eg), once we pass the amount and the currency.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
