I need help putting music and pictures on my new iPad from iTunes, the new iPad and latest version of iTunes. Thank you.
On iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - it should then look similar to that article.

Note that synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync - so you need to include all the photos that you want on the iPad from your computer in each photo sync.

No one here can say for sure what Apple will do. You need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the device looked at, and Apple makes the final determination. If they find a problem with the device, they can replace it.

Some of the left side of my screen wont work . Its driving me nuts. Ive tried rebooting it all and since i did so i cant get my back up from icloud. Because my id and password has a 2 in it which i cant use ... Any help or suggestions would be great. I am dreading having to find an apple store.

I tried to update my phone. The update didnt go all the way through, and ended up freezing the screen on my iphone with an itunes icon on it. I tried to reboot phone with no success...the icon stays on there with no other function of the phone available. Anybody know of a fix?
Put your iphone in dfu mode by doing this. Turn your iphone off. When its off, hold home and power button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and keep holding home button for another 10 seconds. Then open up itunes on your pc and plug your iphone to your pc. Itunes should recognize your iphone in recovery mode and it will tell you to restore it. Click restore, and your iphone will restore. Remember that, if you do this you will lose everything that was on your iphone. You can restore from backup later on. Hope I helped. i have a classic that seems to be stuck in restore mode, the screen says "do not disconnect'' and i can't restore using itunes. i have tried resetting it and still no good, what can i do to fix this problem ?

I've also just run into an issue where I couldn't restore an iPod with a corrupt file system, and the "super fix" in that linked article wasn't working for me. I've run across a potentially useful workaround.
iPod Classic went on the fritz today just after syncing. Couldn't restore via iTunes, kept getting 1439 errors, Windows wouldn't format as FAT32, claimed the "Volume is too big for FAT32". Finally tracked down EaseUS Partition Master Home Edition (Free) and formatted as FAT32 with 128k clusters. The iPod is filling back up again. Might be worth a shot here...

Up next doesn't seem to work properly with multiple speakers over airplay. The status bar on the computer shows the song playing, but not over airplay. When I restart the song it plays, but the same thing happens when the next song cues up. Any ideas?

Got new ATV and all set up. It keeps loosing connection with iTunes on laptop and have tried everything suggested in set up guide. It works fine for a while then the iTunes account vanishes from 'computer' menu TV screen. Full Wifi signal on both devices so can't think what could be causing it to happen. Any suggestions please?
Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.

since i updated my iphone 4 to ios 6, i ve noticed that the wifi connection turns off each time when the screen is locked. I need to be connected with wifi all the time so as to stay updated with all my emails. is there anyway for this problem.
(PS: i know we could use 3G but i want to use wifi instead)I am having a really wierd issue as well that is probally related. I dont see 95% of the album artwork associated with my music. Also, it seems as if this has gotten worse since I started using that match feature

have a I Mac 7.1 operating on version 10.5.8. I have purchased many songs that reside on my PC andf I want to share them with my I Phone 4. Can you take me through the steps necessary to be able to share and then play these albums on my I phone 4?
After you connect the iPhone to your Mac launch iTunes.
Select the iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Music tab from the menu.
Make your selections for the songs you want synced the click the Sync button bottom right side of the iTunes window.

Is itunes compatable with HP netbook?
If the netbook has less than 768 dpi vertical resolution, the "Accept" button will be displaying off the bottom of the screen. (I'm afraid, if so, you'll run into similar trouble when trying to make preferences changes.)
With any luck, the "accept" button although not visible on your system might be the active one. If you hit your enter key does the setup proceed beyond the liscensing agreement? -
I just bought a new Apple TV 3 today so I can watch shows from Hulu Plus without having to physically plug in separate audio and video cables from my Macbook Air to the TV every time. I have a non-widescreen TV and when I normally watch Hulu Plus on the TV (though Safari on my plugged in Macbook Air as mentioned above), the entire wide screen shot is shown with black bands above and below the sceen shot since I am watching a widescreen program on a non-widescreen TV.
However, I noticed that when I watch the same show through Hulu Plus on my new Apple TV 3, the left and right edges of the shot are chopped off to make the program fill my non-widescreen TV. This bothers me because I would like to see the full shot and not just the chopped off middle portion. This is a real bummber because watching Hulu Plus without having to plug in my laptop is the only reason I bought the Apple TV. Is there anything I can do about this?

(FYI: I have the very first Macbook Air that is not capable of mirroring)How are you actually connected to the TV? Does it have HDMI? Most non-widescreen TVs would not.
I would suspect a converter is either not outputting properly, your TV not interpreting the signal properly or you have some form of Zoom setting enabled on the TV.
How does your TV handle widescreen from say cable or terrestrial TV sources ?
Unfortunately AppleTV is not designed to be used with non-widescreen TVs so there's no setting on AppleTV to tweak.

After updating iTunes this week Windows 8 recognizes the iPod but does not offer an option to open with iTunes. iTunes does not recognize iPod Touch. Have followed all the steps but without success. Is there a solution with iTunes?
I followed all the instructions on the suggested page. Many files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\ could not be deleted. Message said ""Cannot delete files: It is being used by another person or program"' but could not find iPodService.exe in task manager (also, the "Cannont delete ... " did not mention iPodService.exe).
Deleted all that I could. Reinstalled iTunes. Still same result. iTunes and computer both recognize my old iPod. Only the computer recognizes iPod Touch. -
Just recently my ipod nano 4th generation's battery seems to be messed up? I plug it into the charger and the ipod says it's charged, but when I take it off the charger, the screen goes black. What is going on and how can I fix it? I'm really sad because it happened so suddenly.
Yes. The battery appears to be shot and in need of a replacement. This can either be done by Apple or a third party repair company.

Captivate 5.5 Question: We seem to be having an issue with the screen capture piece not recording "everything".
We're running 5.5 as an administrator on Windows 7 and my co-worker is trying to capture a webinar (GoToMeeting) with Captivate and it is not recording anything in the GTM window, except the last slide. Anyone have this problem or know a fix? Not much is mentioned in the Adobe forums.Captivate simply doesn't 'hear' some screen events on certain applications and you just need to resort to doing manual captures at these points.
I usually set up my manual capture button to be F2 so that I can hit it with my left hand while my right hand is on the mouse navigating through the task.
