How do I deauthorise a computer which has crashed. Also I have five computers authorised and need to deautorise the one which has crashed and have no access so i can authorise the new iMac which I have purchased

You can only deauthorise individual computers directly on them. Otherwise if you've reached the 5 computer limit, then you should be able to log into your iTunes account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can only do once every 12 months) and you can then (re-)authorise up to 5 computers : authorising and deauthorising.

To deauthorize a computer that is no longer in use, in iTunes, click on the STORE tab at the top of the window, click my account, sign into your account and the deauthorize all the computers. You can then go back and authorize the computers that you want authorized. Hope this helps.

How do I unlink Ipod from my old PC (which has crashed HDD) and link to new PC without erasing contents of my Ipod?.
