How do I stop SMS messages appearing on two devices on my iTunes account?
One phone is mine, one is my wife's and we dont want messages being shared.
We do have contacts and music etc shared.
If your are recieving mixed information on your phone on multiple devices this is going to be related to iMessage.
On your phone navagate to settings > messages > send and receive.
Check the information in that section make sure it relates to your AppleID and your phone. If you share a AppleID with the individual create a new AppleID for their device and insert that information.
If the numbers don't remove turn of iMessage restart your phone and turn it back it.
If all else fails disable iMessage otherwise turning it off is the quickest fix.

How did you do that? Do you mean you sync to iTunes that had the ipad library?
The phone with the issue, settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe the phone clean and then restore from your backup. -

A better solution is if your email provider uses IMAP. IMAP sync email folders between multiple devices. Meaning any device will receive the email, all sent email can be seen on the devices. If you delete email from one device the email is deleted from all the other devices. Check with your email provider to see if they offer IMAP services.
If they do not your choices are to 1) configure email on the PC to keep Mail on the mail server or 2) change email providers to something like Gmail or Outlook.com (as examples). FWIW I use Cox IMAP email and fully sync email between a Win 8.1 Update 1 laptop, a Win 7 desktop, an iPad 4, an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 5S. -
When I attempt to connect to iCloud I get the error message: Apple id's email address cannot be verified. There is nothing wrong with my apple id and I do not want to change it.Any suggestions?

we have 2 iphone 4's synced to the same itunes account for apps and music since the day we bought them, but each has a different icloud acct. they have both been updated on the same itunes account with every update that has come out since we bought them in december of 2010. nothing on either phone has ever been lost or duplicated. having said all that, maybe i'm missing something here, but we have had no problems. we do have itunes setup to sync manually. i do believe i'm a piker compared to lawrence finch, but i'm just telling you what happens in my house. maybe check with apple? is there a store near you? -
I'm using FF 3.5.18 and I do not want newer versions because : using in the Open in New Tab page opens the near tab and not as a FF 3.5.18 or is it possible to do that open in new tabs would be the end. of the new FF version

I just updated my iphone 4s to ios 6 and now my texts are being viewed on another iphone connected to the same itunes account. How do I stop this from happening??
Go into Settings -> Messages -> Send & Receive on the devices that your would not like to get your text messages to.
Then remove the email addresses that you would not like to be reached on, especially the one that is the same as your Apple ID.
Just leave the phone number there, and then the text messages should only appear on your iPhone 4s. -

Try manually managing the phone and rather than synchronising, drag and drop the songs on to the phone.

Just brought my daughter an iphone and have her setup on my ID. Want to be able to see her messages and photos but dont want my info to appear on her phone. How do i stop the messages from appearing on her phone?
If you have set up photo stream, this can't be done. As soon as you switch off photo stream on her device to keep your photos from coming to her device, you won't get any as well from her. Same for messages, you can't have both, sorry.

On the device you do not want the auto downloads to be installed on: Settings/iTunes & App Store. Deselect what you do not want to be automatically downloaded.

Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID. If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud
