HT1535 I just started my new mini IPad, and when I clicked the network, my connect to iTunes went off, now I can't move on or get that connect to iTunes back on the screen so that I keep going
IT is so frustrating,because I cannot go further without being connected to iTunes..it's a brand new mini IPad, and I gave the network and then the iTunes thing to press to connect disappeared...HELP!
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Is the iPod that connects an iPod touch? If not that does not mean anything since iOS devices like iPod touch, iPhone and iPad use different drivers than other iPods. -

As one of the respondents mentioned, you can't use AirPlay. What was not mentioned is you can use HomeSharing.
You need to activate Home Sharing on both your computer's iTunes/Prefs/Sharing and in Settings/iPod in the iPad. Using the iPod app, select your computer's library and initiate any requests (music) on the iPad.
Personally I believe Airsharing and Homesharing are some of the worst work I've seen come out of Apple. Its inconsistent between devices and is needlessly complicated by having two different capabilities essentially doing the same thing. Throw in the Remote app and you now have three capabilities essentially doing the same thing with different interfaces and inconsistent functionality. -

Two weeks ago we bought a mini iPad in New York. In New York, we have also taken into use cases. The mini ipad disposal was connected to the mac computer of my son, who lives there. We have not made backup. At home in the Netherlands, we wanted this case for charging on the Windows computer, that we have at home. Immediately, the itunes program was activated (we had a few years an ipod in the house). Appears in the computer the message that you can register. Cases I tried that. I do not know if I did succeeded. There also were some choices of settings. So I made the mistake of choosing the setting to use movies as I recall.
That same afternoon comes on the ipod in the message screen that he can connect to the server no contact. WIFI contact fails. The ipad is happening the same. The computer still works fine with the wifi connection. Both Apple devices have done well yesterday here in the Netherlands.
Please give me a good advice?Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all videos and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

First thing to check is to see if there is a circular arrow around a small lock at the top right of your screen next to the battery indicator. If there is Rotation Lock is turned on. You can turn it off in the Control Center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and find that icon in the panel that comes up. Tap on that icon to turn off Rotation Lock.
If Rotation Lock is not on try a reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
Why I cannot watch movies from Love film on my apple tv? The app is on my iPad and when I switch the movie from iPad to AppleTv only sound is on my TV screen and no picture.
Many online media providers block this - Sky and Amazon Prime do too I believe.
I would have to assume that the app providers cannot offer video Airplay for contractual reasons with the movie studios though it may just be they don;t want to enable their apps to do so.
It's not Apple preventing this, while you could see it would be in Apple's interest to push people to the iTunes store for media it could also drive people away.

I have the new IPad and can't connect via bluetooth to any of my apple devices (IPhone 4s and appleTV) neither from my new IPhone 4s. When I turn the Bluetooth on, both devices keep in searching mode... I don't know what to do now... Please help... I can't pair any device because they can't find whitin themselves.

just started a new apple tv and also started using an iMac . I have itunes on the iMac but i cant get the apple tv to sync or find any settings to do so ! The Apple TV (with the exception of the Apple TV 1) does not sync, it streams everything from your library on your computer or from the internet. -
I have a spelling app that is stuck on the screen - it doesn't have any way to close it out, and when I split the screen and go to "Finder" to remove it, it says that it can't, because the program is still open. Please help.

I cannot access iTunes on my iPad. When I click the iTunes button, it shows terms and conditions and when I click the terms and conditions link, it takes me to the Internet and that is it. Kindly help.
If you are just seeing the Terms and Conditions link in the Downloads tab then that just means that there aren't any downloads waiting. If you want to browser the store then can are you not able to tap on the other tabs at the bottom of the app ?
If you are looking for your downloaded and synced content then they won't be in the iTunes app (that is just the store) - your music, audiobooks and audio podcasts will be in the Music app and your films and tv shows in the Videos app. -
Just brought a new iPod touch and when I set it up (twice now, after resenting to factory settings) there are grey squares on all screens at the top and the apps over these squares won't open. Any suggestions?
I can't envision what yo are seeing.
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
