Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings. -
Hi, at the moment I can only seem to watch a rented movie once - previously I used to be able to watch it as many times as I liked during the 48hr window. Anyone else have this problem?
This doesn't seem right.
I paid for a rental and downloaded an HD movie, Avatar. I could start watching within about a minute, it played without skipping a beat.
My wife started watching the movie the next night and got about half way through.
The next day, she tried watching the rest, and selected the film and clicked on "resume watching".
But instead of streaming and playing like it should, we got the spinning wheel of death followed by a message "Ready to play in 1 minute" which soon became "Ready to play in 2351 minutes"!
Additional information that I can add is that it was Sunday afternoon which is peak time for internet usage and I'd just exhausted my data allowance before the speed limiting kicks in. Basic internet using browsers at that time was really slow.
So it was as though the movie we were going to resume watching was going to be downloaded from the iTunes Store again, and since my connection had been speed limited, it was going to take forever. I thought you downloaded a rental to your hard drive and it deleted itself after it expired? So any subsequent streaming to AppleTV would be coming direct from your hard drive. It shouldn't have been affected by the speed of my internet connection at that time, surely. Anyone else experienced this?

How do I find my rented move on my new Apple TV?
This thread is from over a year ago. Also, that only applies if you rented via your computer. Hence the 'computers' icon. It is accessing your computers iTunes library via home sharing, not the cloud. Rentals made on other devices can only be viewed on that device.
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer. -

Hi, i just tried renting a movie on my new 3rd gen apple tv, and right after i entered my ccv number it told me that i have 48 hours to watch. i went to watch it right after and i found no movie to watch! could anyone tell me where i can find my movie?

When you rent a movie from iTunes on your computer, then you can play it on your computer or sync it to your iPhone or iPad. For your Apple TV, you will need to find it by using Home Sharing and not looking for it in the Movies section. If you go to the Computers section on the Home Screen and follow the onscreen instructions to set it up, then you should be able to find the rental and watch it on your Apple TV. How to find a rented movie on Apple TV
Hi there
This is my first post - don't want to seem completely stupid but where do the rented movies appear on the menu. I have 2nd gen ATV and rented a film yesterday but it doesn't show up anywhere. It tells me I have already rented it when I try & do it again but I can't find it? I've checked for available rentals etc.. Any ideas anyone, please?
Thanks in advance.After you rent a movie the poster image will appear on the top left (make sure you are on the movies tab). If you rented the movie and then accessed other content (i.e. netflix, youtube etc) then that could cause the film to be dumped and a reload required. You have 30 days (24 or 48 hours after you start watching depending on your location) so you shouldn't be charged again.

Finding a rented movie from Apple TV
I recently rented a movie direct from my Apple TV but I am unable to find it. I seem to recall that when you used to go into the movie tab there were essentially a folder for both "Purchased" and "Recently Rented" that showed how much longer remained on any rented movie. I now only appear to have a "Purchased" folder. When I click on the movie again it shows a prompt saying I have already rented this movie. I went to the General / I Tunes / Search for rented but had no success as the disc that appears when searching just seems to continue spinning endlessly and not find anything. I would really like to include all the songs in my library thatare on my pc on my ipod touch, but the ones that I downloaded years ago by cd show up on my pc library but not my ipod touch library. I've tried looking on support but haven't found anything so far that has worked.
Only music that you purchased from iTunes will show in the Purchased links - music that you bought from other sites or copied from CDs will only be where you put it e.g. on your computer and/or on your backup copy of your library.
If you want that music on your iPod then you will need to sync it from your computer to your iPod.
The only way that you would be able to download that music directly on your iPod, as opposed to syncing it from your computer, is if you have subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded it to to that from your computer.
When you try to sync it, you are connecting the iPod and selecting it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes under 'Devices' (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can enable the sidebar via control-S) e.g.
On the right-hand side of the iTunes window there should then be a series of tabs, including one for 'Music' - if you select that you should be able to select which of your computer's iTunes music to sync to the iPod. -
I need to make t shirts for a family reunion. I cannot reverse the text (so the letter will print on a T shirt correctly). I have tried everything including u-tube videos. I could swear I have seen graphics (such as various banners on Word Art as shown on u tube videos) on one of my toolbars but cannot locate them now (would like to use them also).

Besides needing to have your Table Object Floating, you should know that the maximum number of rows in Pages Tables is 999.
If you continue to have problems opening your Word document and its table in Pages, try one of the free Office Clones, LibreOffice, OpenOffice, IBM Lotus Symphony, etc.
I'd bet that at least one of those free apps will work if Pages doesn't. By the way, have you tried viewing your Word document in Quick Look? To do that, click on the filename in Finder and hit the Spacebar key. You won't be able to do anything but view the document in Quick Look, but it would give you confidence that your file is OK.

The page load progress bar that was on the lower right of the window is no longer there. After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it. The tab has a circular progress wheel but this is useless for determining a stuck or slow loading page.

Hello everyone. I'm running into 2 problems that I can't seem to find functions for after reading the java API on socket and serverSocket.
If a client closed a connection on my server, like if someone telnets into my server, then closes the console, i get the following:

I created a new Apple ID for iCloud on my iPhone, but I can't seem to find a way to "sign out" or "log out" of that Apple ID (for iCloud) to sign in with another Apple ID. The only account login I could change was the Store.
How do I "log out" or "sign out" of iCloud on my iPhone? There is an option to delete the account, but I just want to log off. I want to keep the account name for future use.@fernandamagalhaes
