Changing your account id doesn't change your password. If you want to change your password then you can log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, or you can change it by logging into http://appleid.apple.com

So basically as the question above says...
I have had an Apple ID for a few years now under a Hotmail email. Recently I got a Me account and I want to change my primary email address on my Apple ID to this new Me email address as I no longer use the Hotmail email.
However, when I try and change it, it simply states "This domain name is reserved for MobileMe accounts."
Could really use the help, and I thank people in advance for any advice!

It affects everything you have purchased...apps, etc., are permanently tied to the Apple ID underwhich they were purchased/downloaded. They cannot be transfered to another Apple ID and IDs cannot be merged.

When I did this, it did not change in iCloud and I have not been able to determine how to change this ID in iCloud for either my Mac or iPad? If you simply renamed your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account. This will delete the account from your phone (but not from iCloud) as well as any synced data. But provided you are signing back into the same account (just with a new name) it will be synced back to your device when you sign back in. Then set up your iCloud account with the new ID name and turn syncing back on. If you have photos in your photo stream album that are older than 30 days that you don't have anywhere else, you will need to save these to your camera roll before deleting the account. To do this, open your photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If, however, you are changing to a new ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (Be sure to save any photo stream photos to your camera roll prior to deleting the account, as mentioned above.) Next, set up a new iCloud account using your new ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. It means you should take it to the Genius Bar. You will no doubt need to buy an out of warranty replacement.

You will need the password. If you can't get it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com (if you remember the answers to the account's security questions then you should be able to reset it via them) then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset it.

Settings > wi-fi then tap on the little blue arrow next to the network you want to change. You have to tap on the blue arrow and not on the name.
Now at the top tap on "forget this network".
After that, the iPhone will think your home network is a new network and will ask you for the password to connect.
