HT1694 I can't see my hotmail folders so I can't move any of my email, what do I do?

I just bought an iphone 5c and I have set up hotmail but i cannot see my hotmail folders so i cannot move items from my inbox to a folder. What do i do?

Click on the Apple icon.. Top left in Finder...
 > Dock > Turn Hiding Off
More info available by Clicking on Heip in the Finder Menu Bar and typing in Dock

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

My MacPro says the startup disk is too full. I have 4 internal hard drives that have 2T each so there is plenty of space, but all start up programs, libraries, iTunes and application folder are on the '1st' hard drive. Can I move any to 2nd drive?

Your system will likely fit just fine on a small fast 250GB SSD
What you have is lots of stuff that should not be on the boot drive, data and graphics or media files and libraries that should be moved to another drive.
If you are getting a message like this, STOP, off load files, make room, and make sure to have 15% free or more.
Do not try to move anything from system and its library and sub folders. Move your home user account and just leave the essential home library but move all the rest.
A full drive can have trouble finding free space segments and writing out updates to files and to the directory. And loss of directory means loss of where files are located and their segments.

Can't move any apps from screen to screen

I've updated my cell but I can't move any of the apps! I connect my cell to iTunes and it only lets me switch the order of the screens but it won't let me move any apps at all. No rearranging any of them. Help!

In Arrangements, not only can you move the Menu Bar from one display to the other, but you can also move the display orientation, so that they coincide with the true location of each monitor.

I can log into hotmail using firefox, but I can't read any of my emails, and most of the links don't work either.

I can't read any emails in my msn account. I'm using Firefox 4.0.1. Every time I click on one, it acts like it's reloading the page, but nothing happens. It happens when I click on links to my folders as well. It works fine in Google Chrome though. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same issues, running Firefox 3.6.
After downloading Windows Updates for Vista, Hotmail has stopped working.
I can log on, but can't click on any messages.
None of the buttons work at all in Hotmail; it's completely frozen.
I have to log on using Internet Explorer.
I had the same problems with Firefox 4.0; Norton 360 wouldn't work properly with it, so I deleted it, and went back to Firefox 3.6.

I have 10.5.1, luckily, when logged in as myself as a user the computer operates normally, when logged in as my wife she (or I) cannot move any document or folder ANYWHERE not on the desktop, from a flash drive, from any folder... I even created a 3rd user (all are listed as admins) and right from the start- I can't move files using that user either!
Doesn't matter if I use trackpad or the mouse. I already ran the disk utility to fix permissions. Any other ideas?

same problem here... I have two accounts on my MBP one for me and one for my sister. I did a clean install of Leopard and then transfered back all my files. My account works fine but when me (or my sis) are in her account we cant edit any file without my username and password and it's getting really annoying.

Can't open any pdf in email attachments.

Can open pdf already saved to computer, but can't open from email. Windows 7, Firefox 25.0.1, Adobe Reader 11.0.4, and Plugin 11.0.4.63. Email is yahoo (at&t version).
Edit: It is the yahoo/att.net email program as I can open the pdf in another email program.

What exactly means "can't"?
Also, are you receiving your email in the Firefox browser? If so, note that Firefox uses its own PDF viewer, not the Adobe Reader plugin. See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1158136

I can't move any files

I can't move, copy, paste, or drag any of my files. I have reset my permissions checked my disk and it says all is well. When you look at the files or folders they say I have permission as the administrator. I did an fsck in single user mode and all is well. Anyone out there experience anything like this???? For the record, I can rename files and folders.

No, nothing happens. You can't move it, nudge it, copy it, just nothing. This is just one of the craziest things I have ever seen. I was hoping for for the best.

I can not share any document as Email Attachment in OSX Mountain Lion

Since the time I have installed OSx Mountain Lion. I am having this problem. I can not share any file, like a word file or pdf file as Email Attachment.
I could do in in Lion earlier.
I open a file > share > as Email attachment. It is not working
Anyone having the same problem.

Thx a lot mcsound , this really resolved this issue.
1. Now if I go to file>share>Email as attachemnt can be selected but still share> Email as link is not selectable
2. I had one more issue, when I compose Email, I go to attach>select pdf file> choose file and try and send pdf attachment in Email from apple mail, the reciver does not get the pdf attachment, just get the plain Email. . But if I try and attach word or excel file, it goes well.
Now if I open gmail in my browser and attache pdf file, it goes well to the receiver.
Please see if you have any solution to this.

I can't move any file in the hard drive of my time capsule

Hi all !
I have my time capsule change by a new one because a problem on the main power (warranty), when i received the new one they made a backup of all of my files inside a new "data" name folder, the class i see in the finder for that new folder is "sharepoint"... but i can't move or create any file or folder diferent than the "Data" folder because finder don't let me do that... i think it a permissions problem but i don't know how to change it.
Could anyone help me ?

I have found the solution to my problem, I just needed to shut down and restart my iPad and now I can see the email text in the text field.

Help, I can't delete any of my emails from my IPhone

How do I delete emails from my Iphone???? When I try to delete an email I get a message saying Unable to Move Message. I noticed that there is no trash can for my email to go into so I suspect that is why I can't delete any of my message. I uninstalled my email from my Iphone then reinstalled it but it's still happening. Oh and get this, the other day when I tried to show my friend that there is no trash can all of a sudden one appeared then when I got out of my email and went back in, the trash can was gone agian. Not sure what's going on. Hopefully anyone out there has an answer to this very strange probelm.

I don't remember the answer, but this has been asked and answered before.
You can do a forum search and you should be able to find many posts about this.
Type " Unable to Move Message" into the search bar on the right hand side of this page and see if you can find the answer.
