HT1725 Some songs that I paid for fully downloaded, but it is only playing the small sample piece from the Itunes store. How should I fix this?

I had a Wish List with about 7 or 8 songs on there and I purchased them today. They all downloaded fine, except for 2. These two songs completed the download from what the computer says, but it will only play the short sample avaliable from the Itunes store. How should I fix this?

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over the last few days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting them from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

If you had a complete pre-problem backup of your library you could restore that. Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this. Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.

If you have any podcasts in your iTunes library you should see a Podcasts sync setting tab to the right when you connect your phone and click on its name on the left sidebar (see image below). On this tab check to sync podcasts and sync your phone.

Thank you, when I meant by I haven't synced with my library in a long time. I meant the day before this morning. So I already synced it and I am not hearing any audio when I press play. Right now I am in front of a mac at my job and I have synced and ejected it from a different computer and it still isn't working. Does this have anything to do with the fact that it might have something to do with my music library at my home computer?

There has been nothing wrong with my ipod until the recent software update from itunes. Since then I can't sync my library to my ipod. At most at a time I would get one or two songs before the ipod stops and freezes and can't finish syncing. Error code 53 keeps poping up just when it freezes. I have tried restoring the ipod and also resetting it completely but to no avail! I have also tried to manually put my library into my ipod but this does not work either! It's rather frustrating not being able to select options such as speakerphone, mute, or even being about to select "1 for English" when calling various companies. It's even worse when you can't even do somethins as simple as end a phone call.

Sounds like you may have a problem with the proximity sensor.
Couple things you can try before you bring it in to Apple for evaluation:
1) if your phone is in a case, remove it completely and see if this helps. Sometimes cases can block the proximity sensor
2) remove any screen protector
If these fail to work, you'll need to bring your phone in for exchange. If you're under warranty it will be exchanged for free.

On a computer go to iTunes>Store>View Account>Sign in and go to purchased history and see if you actually purchased them.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.

Most browsers have a dedicated folder where they store downloaded files. Have you checked there? What OS are you using? What browser are you using? Did you run the installer? What ads? Where do you see them? Post a screen shot for anything you have difficulty explaining. Most of the time it is easier if we can see what you see.

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store.
