You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Hi, so I pushed autofill because I thought that it would put music on my phone from a different iTunes library but it didn't work, and now the songs show up grey in my music on my phone and they won't play, but they are still there. What can I do to fix this and get rid of the grey songs?
Go back to iTunes, select the Music tab, uncheck the 'sync music; button, then hit apply.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I've got a touch iPod and for about a week now it's almost been permenently zoomed into the screen? I actually cannot get it to zoom back out. I've tried pulling the screen out with my fingers but that doesn't work. It's zoomed in on my home pages, on my music, settings everything! It makes simple things like deleting a number from my password login extreamly differcult. Please can someone help?!?! Thanks.
Double tap the screen with three fingers to un-zoom.

I have reinstalled both updates as advised above but mail v4.6 still does not work and mail v4.5 continues to have the same error message?

Some how I have locked the screen on my iPad 2 and can't get it to rotate. I tried double tapping the Home key but it didn't make a difference.
Double tapping the home button won't unlock your screens orientation. Double tapp the home button and swipe the bottom row of apps that appear and swipe them to the right all the way until an icon appears on the left side. It should be either a mute icon, or orientation icon. Hopefully, since your screen is not rotating, it will be the screen lock. Touch the icon and that should solve your problem.

When clicking to start Firefox IE starts instead. I have unistalled Firefox and reinstalled and thought I removed IE also but it still opens. I don't know of anything I would have changed or done that would have started the problem.

Help page says windows 64bit to come w/ver 10.1 but 10.1 is out and am still getting the error
I can't even install the beta..
Its very frustrating cause these laptop companies are building 64bit machines with power and I cant even view most pages including youtube cause of the lack of flash.
I wouldn't mind but if there is a beta.. please give us a way to install it, every link I click even for the beta version takes me right back to the error page.
Please help.. please fix the download problem so we will have this 64bit windows support.
I mean many programs are being written in 32bit form and will run on my 64bit machine.. at least do that so we can view different flash required pages.

How can I access my apps? They are all greyed out in itunes. I have tried restoring my iphone to factory settings but that didn't work. I have a feeling it may have something to with the restrictions settings on my phone restrictions are on) but it won't allow me to change the restrictions without putting in a passcode. I don't remember ever having a passcode and after several attempts have not been able to get the right code.
Also. on my phone, in settings, personal hotspot, iCloud and Twitter are greyed out. And, the App Store icon is missing from my screen as well.
Can anybody help me with this?
Thanksyep, unfortunately can't reset without the passcode either.
With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this!
