How to avoid pitch difference during MediaPlayer rate change

Hi guys, I have been developing one MediaPlayer application for playing the video and I found pitch difference when ever I change the mediaPlayer rate like 0.5,1.5. I have tried to look over the internal API of MediaPlayer but my try was worthless. Found few internal class like GSTPlayer and many of the methods are native which is directly bind with the C library I guess. So I would be grateful if any of you guys have something alternative for this problem's solution. Thanks

Raghu and Ravi:
Thanks for your quick responses, but I still need to load data into ODS in a traditional way. Data from R/3 should flow through InfoSource and Update Rules into ODS. Transactional ODS doesn't support that.

    Hello,

These TreeViews are working with Groups and Subgroups, Sub-Subgroups, and so on ...
My Problem is: Always when i toggle the expandedProperty of any Group, selected or not, it will change the selection in the TreeView.
If the Group was selected, it will be deselected, if it was not selected, it will be selected, clearing any other selection.
    How can i prevent this?
I tried eventFiltering and Handling of the mousePressed events without any success.

  • Currency exchange rate changed between GR and Invoice

    Hi,
How we treat the difference of exchange rate occured between Good Receipt and Invoice (MIRO) ?
    Please advise

    Hi,
    You can use MR11.
If you do not want the exchange rate difference to occure, then use the "Fixed Exchange Rate" in the PO header.

    Hi @imobl,
You sound like an Apple support guy who hasn't been able to answer my questions.
To respond to some of the points you made,
    - I did not ignore Ocean20's suggestion. If you has read my post, you would have known that I took my phone to the apple service centre where they tried this restore on THEIR machines. I am assuming that Apple guys know how not to block iTunes. So I actually do not understand your point about me trying the hosts file changes on my machine. Do you not believe that apple tested this issue with the correct settings?
    - you also give a flawed logic of why the issue is a hardware issue. You mentioned that If I thought that the issue was with the software, i should try a restore and getting it to work. The problem is that my error (23), and many others comes up when the restore fails. And you would be astonished to know that not all errors are hardware errors. Sometimes even software errors prevent restores. Funnily enough Apple itself mention that 'in rare cases, error 23 could be hardware related'.
    - all Apple has done so far is replicate the issue. I don not know how anyone can conclude that the issue is a hardware issue.
And by the way, I am not certain that this is a software bug. Again if you read my Posts, you will notice I only want a confirmation,/proof that the issue is hardware related as they mention..
Please refrain do. Responding if there is nothing to add.

  • Avoid posting of realized exchange rate differences in 2nd local currency

    Dear SAP fans,
The situation here in our company is that a company code is set up with NZD as 1st and EUR as 2nd local currency (currency type 30 "Group currency" for EC-CS consolidation).
Therefore, all postings (and balances) are also translated and saved in EUR (with the current exchange rate).
We now have an open item managed G/L account for prepaid expenses, which is used to collect postings which are then cleared later. It's however no payable/receivable account for vendors/customers. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to post realized exchange rate differences when clearing this account. This is however what SAP wants to do when we try to clear it.
For example, if I post today 100 NZD and two months later again 100 NZD to this account. If the NZD vs. EUR exchange rate changed in the meantime, then SAP won't let me clear this account without posting realized exchange rate differences, which makes however no sense.
Does anyone of you meet this problem before? Could you please give me a hint?
I thought about setting the "Only balances in local currency" indicator in the G/L account master but this helps only for differences between local and document currency (and not for differences in 1st and 2nd local currency).
    Any help is highly appreciated!
    Thanks and best regards,
    Peter

    Dear Padma,
Thanks for your answer. The customizing activities you mentioned are already set up in the system. This is not our problem.
The problem is however, that we don't want SAP to post automatically realized exchange rate differences between 1st and 2nd local currency as this doesn't make sense in this business case.
It's about an open item managed G/L account which is used to collect posting which are later cleared. It's not a payable/receivable account for customers/vendors where the posting of realized exchange rate differences makes sense.
We've thought about several solution which unfortunately all didn't help us:
    - Don't setup realized exchange rate differences accounts or set them up only for group currency (in OB09)
    - Set indicator "Only balances in local currency" in G/L master data
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • How to avoid jitter in analog output(square wave) generation

    Hi all,
    Iam working with PCI-6723 32 channels analog output,iam generating a square wave,sampling at 100ks/s.
ican able to generate upto 10kHz square wave. The wave form appears clean when it is below 1000Hz if i crossed 5KHz to 7KHz, iam getting jitter in the output square wave form,i have experimented with the digital filter but still the jitter is persisting,

  • How to avoid the message in the dashboard report

    Hi,
I am developing Dashboard reports(graphs) using WAD. Query and WAD are working fine. I need to put a variable for Calendar Month or Year in the graph .I am populating the Variable with default value initially and I am getting the correct result . But if I change the Variable value second time, I am getting a message (type I(information) ) in the same screen which says that 'You cannot change variable ZCALYEAR_WT01 for charact. 0CALYEAR during query navigation' . And below is the detailed information about the error message.
The Can be changed in query navigation property has been set for variable ZCALYEAR_WT01, characteristic 0CALYEAR. However, the variable is used in the query in such a way, that the system is unable to apply this change-option.
This can, for example, occur under the following conditions:
Characteristic 0CALYEAR is filtered by additional restrictions (the restrictions must be joined using an OR-connection)
A second characteristic, which is restricted by a variable, is compounded to charcteristic 0CALYEAR.
Variable ZCALYEAR_WT01 is a hierarchy node variable, but the hierarchy has not been determined uniquely.
A variable can be changed during query navigation only if it is used exclusively in a drilldown-characteristic, and there are no further restrictions to the characteristic other than this variable. There must be no additional characteristics with variables compounded to the characteristic you are working with. For variables for hierarchy nodes, the hierarchy must be determined uniquely and agree with the set display hierarchy.
Also, if the characteristic value is moved, for example (ZCALYEAR_WT01 - 1), the variable is no longer able to be changed when navigating queries.
    System Response
The entry ZCALYEAR_WT01 Can be changed during query navigation is not applied.
    Procedure
I checked the query definition and it is not having any offset or any other restrictions for Calendar Year
It is used for finding the total quantity by country for the year  .Hence Quantity keyfigure is added in the Keyfigures and Country is in the Rows and Calendar Year is restricted with Variable in the global filter .There are no other fields and no other restrictions .
I am still trying to figure out why the warning apprears in the DashBoard. Since this Dashboard report will be used by the Power users and this warning message will be annoying to them .Hence I need to find how to avoid this message.
Kindly do let me if anyone has faced this and solved earlier.
    Thanks for your time.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raja

    Hi Nick,
Thanks for your suggestion and it  worked for me   I  added the 'System message' web item and set the visibility to 'Hidden'  .Now I am not getting any message. Thank you for both.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raja

  • How UBR/UNR will be balance in GL in case of xchg rate change?

    Hello Experts,
I am in position where customer has accrue revenue in INR which is funded in USD with exchange rate A but now after a month when customer invoiced it, exchange rate has change to A+2. because of this UBR a/c got imbalance of A-(A+2) = 2 then how a/c UBR will get balance?
    example - @ time of Revenue -on 1-May-12 USD-INR rate was 50 Rs - so revenue was - 2$ = 100 rs/- INR - UBR -Dr = 100 Rs
    @ time of Invoice -on 2-Jun-12 USD-INR rate change to 52 - so invoice was 2$ = 104 rs/- INR - UBR- Cr = 104 Rs
How in this case UBR get balance?
    Plz help...............
    Thanks
    :-)

    Hi Devesh,
Thanks for the inputs you share. I have gone through the link and found that it is still under development.
but another thought process suggest that in General Ledger module, if you run the revaluation process then will it be balances UBR/UNR accounts?
The concept of revaluation in GL is to add the difference of amount as realized gain or loss..rght?
    Plz confim my understanding..
    Thanks

  • How to avoid database logon dialog on every action of refreshing reports

I am using Crystal reports 208 SP2 and has a database connection to oracle database. Connection is esablished and report retrieves desired data, The problem is when ever i open this report ( which has this connection set) and do a refresh,  the report the LogOn dialog pops up.
How to avoid or save this log on info such that it does not pops up the LogOn dialog when i open the report and do a refresh(F5).?

    Hi Don,
Thanks for the reply. To try  your suggested approach, i need some clarifications .
    _Problem summary:for refrence, _
I am following the steps mentioned below to establish a database connection, and fetch the data.
    1) I am using Oracle drivers for configuring the ODBC data source. As part of configuration i will specify the Oracle server name
    2) In crystal reports, Using "Database" menu, i open "Database Expert" dialog and "Make New connection" by specifing the data source mentioned in step 1). During this process, (ODBC)logon information will be filled in. The user ID and password used has all the rights to access the tables in the database. Logon will be successful and connection is established.
    3) Further i use the database table from the "Database Expert" on to the report and refresh(F5) to fetch the data.
After step 3, I close the report  and reopen it. Now trying to refresh the database logon dialog pops up. I need to avoid this pop up
    Requesting Clarification:;
    1) You have specified "When you connect you have the option to use Trusted Authentication, check this option on". Where is this option. Is it in the crystal reports or is it available during data source configuration. Kindly specify.
    2) Here "Enterprise logon info that has been configured on the Oracle server." implies the oracle database login information right? If yes, this login details are available and i am using this logon information(i.e. UseriD and Password) during database connection.
If No, Is "Enterprise logon info " is something which should be specifically enabled by DBA in oracle11g configuraion.
    Kindly suggest.

  • Please reply:how to avoid extra trailing spaces while using cursor sharing

i am using cursor sharing with FORCE or SIMILAR.
what is the solution to avoid extra trailing spaces without any java code change.
do we have any option in oracle to avoid extra trailing spaces during the query processing ?
    I am using Oracle 10g
CURSOR SHARING is a feature in which multiple sql statements
which are same will have a shared cursor (in the library cache) for an oracle session,
i.e, the first three steps of the sql processing (hard parse, soft parse, optimization)
will be done only the first time that kind of statement is executed.
There are two ways in which similar SQL statements with different condition values can be made to "SHARE" cursor during execution:
    1. Writing SQLs with Bind Variables: SQLs having no hard coded literals in them
    For e.g., the query below
    SELECT node.emp_name AS configid
    FROM emp node
    WHERE emp_no = :1
    AND dept_no =
    DECODE (SUBSTR (:2, 1, 3),
    :3, :4,
    (SELECT MAX (dept_no)
    FROM emp
    WHERE emp_no = :5 AND dept_no <= :6)
    AND node.dept_type = :7
    ORDER BY node.emp_name
Here all the variables are dynamically bound during the execution. The ":X" represents BIND Variable and the actual values are bound to the SQL only at the 4th step of the execution of the SQL.
In applications: The queries written with "?" as bind variables will be converted into ":X" and are sqls with Bind Variables.
    2. The CURSOR_SHARING parameter: Only Useful for SQL statements containing literals:
    For eg., the query below:
    SELECT node.emp_name AS configid
    FROM emp node
    WHERE emp_no = 'H200'
    AND dept_no =
    DECODE (SUBSTR (:1, 1, 3),
    'PLN', :2,
    (SELECT MAX (dept_no)
    FROM emp
    WHERE emp_no = :3 AND dept_no <= :4)
    AND node.dept_type = :5
    ORDER BY node.emp_name
In the query above, there are two hard coded literals H200 , PLN. In this case when the same SQL executed with different values like (H2003 , PLN), oracle will create a new cursor for this statement and all the first three steps ( hard & soft parse and optimization plan) needs to be done again.
This can be avoided by changing the CURSOR_SHARING parameter which can be set to any of three values:
    1. EXACT: Causes the mechanism not be used, i.e. no cursor sharing for statements with different literals. This is the default value.
    2. FORCE: Causes unconditional sharing of SQL statements that only differ in literals.
    3. SIMILAR: Causes cursor sharing to take place when this is known not to have any impact on optimization.
So, FORCE and SIMILAR values of the parameter will be helping in cursor sharing and improve the performance of the SQLs having literals.
But here the problem arises if we use the FORCE and SIMILAR other than EXACT.
    alter session set cursor_sharing ='EXACT'
    select 1 from dual;
    '1'
    1
    alter session set curson_sharing='FORCE'
    select 2 from dual;
    '2'
    2
    alter session set curson_sharing='SIMILAR'
    select 3 from dual;
    '3'
    3
So, this will give extra trailing spaces in when we retrieve from java method and any
further java processing based on the hardcoded literal values will fail. this needs lot of
effort in remodifying the existing millions of lines of code.
My question is i have to use cursor sharing with FORCE or SIMILAR and can't we do the trimming
from the oracle query processing level ?
please help me on this ?

  • How to avoid Moire Effects (jiggered still pictures) using iM and iDVD.

This is a discussion going on forever and forever in this forum. I had the problem of bad looking slideshows myself, and I am hearing the same tips over and over again that just don't work. This is what I found out on how to avoid moire effects in your still images, when you want to edit a slideshow using iMovie - and I personally think, this explanation makes a lot of sense.
Try it on your own and you will have had the last bad looking still image slidehow on the TV screen ever!! Here we go:
Like everybody here I am talking about the process of creating a slideshow incuding movie strips in iMovie to get as a final result a DVD with menus and such using iDVD.
And the common problem with stills and iMovie 5.02 are the so called jiggered pictures iMovie creates. Call it a moire effect, if you'd like.
Whenever full resolution still images are importet from iPhoto into iMovie, the quality that iMovie will spit out in the end is disgusting. Period. Just disgusting.
It has nothing to do with that iMovie does not display it properly on the Monitor or we are just in preview mode - the results are bad there and will be bad (maybe even worse) on the TV screen.
There is no SIGNIFICANT difference between wether the pictures are imported with KB on or off, whether they are imported as still frames or as video clips using iMovie "import" function. iMovie can treat the color fairly bad, overprocesses the pictures and - worst of all, the moiree effects you will see in the endresult are just very very bad. It is worse when the pictures are panning a lot (KB).. This is true for every picture containing a lot of detail (Trees, Forests, horizontol lines (stairs) etc.) - not so bad for closeup face shots, unless that person is really old
There is no SIGNIFICANT difference on the result by how the iMovie project is fed into iDVD. When the movie is sent to iDVD using the iM command "send to..." the quality is worse (and you let iM render when it asks) than if the movie is dragged into the iDVD window - but again, the difference is not significant. The result will suck. The DVD will also look bad, when the iMovie is exported has high res quicktime first, before imported into iDVD. Again, its slightly better that way, but not significant.
Whenever a slideshow is created in iPhoto and than exported to iDVD (or via being a quicktime movie through iMovie into iDVD) the result will be however stunning. But that totally defeats the purpose of iMovie and the degree of freedom of designing slidehows in a very appealing manner.....
The problem I think lies in how iMovie processes still images. And this is not a bug, but more of a mathematical/programmatical problem. iMovie has to REDUCE THE RESOLUTION of your still. A 2000x3000 pixel image @ 300 dpi(roughly the dimensions of a 6 MP image) has to be downsized to a TV image (NTSC or PAL, whichever) which has a resolution of approximately 480x640. HD is accordingly higher. The amount of pixels has to be reduced. iMovie can do that. NOT GOOD. But it can. The problem starts when the picture is panning around (KB). iMovie makes a let us say 5 second movie @ 30 fps out of one still image. Almost every frame will be slightly different from the previous one due to the used KB effect. So, the routine of iMovie does this downsize calculation for each single frame - and it removes each time different pixels from the still image, due to a slightly different source still image. Got it?
Now, when you look on how moiree effects occur (which is some weired math in it's own) than it makes sense, that we see all this jiggereing in horizontol lines of high res. patterns.
I found that if I reduce the size of each image in Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) prior to importing it into iMovie, the quality of the final product that iMovie and subsequently iDVD spits out in the end is AMAZING (reduce the dpi to approx. 72, so the image resolution is roughly 480x640). This is not a difficult process, because both programms (PS and PSE) handle BATCH PROCESSING. Just let the Mac work for a couple of hours or so.... its WORTH IT (and don't forget to make copies of the high res originals beforehand... :D).
(before you resize, find out about how to properly resize and rescale an image!!!!)
I am slightly annoyed that I found that out after producing a long long long long and really good slightshow, that is watchable but looks REALLY cheasy and cheap).
    I hope this helps out.

I agree that iMovie's still image quality is embarassingly bad and has many bugs.
Even with no Ken Burns, the sharp images tend to flicker on a TV because iMovie doesn't blur them properly.
And as you very well described, iMovie's Ken Burns produces uneasy zooms/pans because the subpixel rendering is, uh, suboptimal.
iMovie's immortal rendering bug when exporting non-Ken Burns'ed images to iDVD/tape doesn't make things any better.
Yes, bicubically downsampling the input images to 640x480 or adding gaussian blur to the megapixel input images takes care of the flicker and uneasy zooms/pans, but as a side-effect the maximal zoom-ins are then TOO blurry.
The best workaround is to use Photo To Movie's higher quality export setting. It has the best quality rendering engine (I recently compared it to Still Life and FotoMagico). Disclaimer: I'm just a satisfied customer of Photo To Movie.
