HT1926 when i try to install itunes onto comp the message keeps coming up fatal error during installation please install again over and over again i now have my phones but cant sync to my account
so how do i get around the problem of installing itunes
the older version of bonjour could not be removed
Let's see if we can make some progress with that one first.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

When I try to start iTunes, I get the message "program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computper. Try reinstalling the program." When I try reinstalling, I get the message Error 7 (Windows Error 126)
Can you help me?????Hello Charleen,
It sounds like you are unable to reinstall iTunes because of this error message 7. I recommend the troublehsooting found in the following article that mentions that error named:
iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows Error 126)”
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Take care,

When I try to open ITUNES I get the following messages: Runtime Error R6034 - "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly" . I have 15,000 songs in my library. Will I lose them if I uninstall as suggested by Apple??
Exactly the same problem. But it gets worse. iTunes has now disappeared from my list of installed programs so I can't uninstall anyway. Appalling problem. This update clearly didn't get proper testing before release.
In answer to your question about your song library, I seem to remember uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes a few years ago and the uninstall didn't remove the library then - I can't see why it would. Of course there have been a lot of updates since then, so it is definitely worth asking the question. Personally, I would be inclined to make a copy (if you have the space) of the iTunes folder just to be sure.
I certainly hope they get this fixed soon. I use iTunes mainly for podcasts on my iPod and I can't download anything right now. -

If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme Security then disable Virtualization and reinstall Firefox.<br />
Other security software may have similar features to prevent Firefox from updating files properly.

This forum was so helpful with my last issue so let's try this mystery....
My son has an iPod (probably 1-2 yrs old). Somehow when I set it up it transferred all of my photos to a library on the iPod. I can't figure out how to delete the photos and he can't buy any apps....no room.
Can anyone tell me how to get that darn photo library off the iPod?
Thanks!!!If you're syncing photos from a folder, if you set up your photo syncing to sync to an empty folder, that should remove the photos from the iPod.
If you're syncing from Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements, there's advice in the following document on how to remove photos from the device:

That one is often a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):
