I chose songs from the itunes store and added to my wish list, but when I try to purchase these using my $25.00, it tells me this has already been redeemed. How do I buy songs and use my gift card to pay for them?

The amount is already credited to your account. Purchase something and it will use this balance.

Can you provide more detail than just "doesn't work"? What happens when you attempt to redeem the card?

I'm a California resident, will my old (as in a few years+ old) itunes cards be redeemable? I never redeemed them or even scratched off the pin # because I had no need for the itunes store when I got them and then they got buried away in a drawer for ages and never redeemed, so I gave them away as gifts today. I mentioned this to my friend and now I am worried they won't be able to use them because she said they were "old". But since CA laws should apply and they cannot legally expire, the balances should still be able to be redeemed, right? I know the card I have in front of me now from 2004 says "expires in 2 years... expiration does not apply in CA, ME, and elsewhere it's prohibited" but I just want to be perfectly clear so I am not ripping people off or making them feel awkward like I gave them a worthless gift card ... it's really worrying me that they will not be able to redeem them!
So, am I reading the policy correctly that they can be redeemed at any time in CA whether they are brand new or several years old?

You won't lose anything from the iTunes library, but you may lose data on the iPod touch if it was connected to another iTunes library. If not, your data from the iTunes library will be transferred to your iPod

Why? Just update the info for your old account and continue to use that.
When you create new accounts, it's highly probable you will run into problems (as you can see).

More likely it says that your iTunes account has been locked for security reasons and that you need to contact the iTunes store to unlock it.

If it is in your itunes on your computer, then select it to sync just like everything else that you sync.
The music must be on your computer.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It shouldn't expire - none of my cards have ever had an expiry date on them.
If the card doesn't have its value written on it then the only way to see its value is to redeem it onto an account.

You will have to contact the Apple Store you bought the card from and ask, but if you scratched off the coating to expose the redemption code, then no, they won't take it back.
