HT201210 2006 ERROR CODE RESOLUTION PLEASE

iphone died 2 days ago - have gone through various steps that allow me to 'restore my phone) - it was fairly soon after fairly soon after ios 6 update and then updated imac (10.8.2) and itunes to latest versions - phone requesting usb connection to itunes but when detection of iphone by itunes as being in recovery mode occurs and seems that recovery download is happening the phone turns off and then requests connection to itunes again error messages 2006 or 2001 - gone to 02/wifi/3g carrier - (get a 'guru' who has taken me through same soft steps as per apple site resets and am getting nowhere - Heeeeeeelllppp please.

Error 1669 can be similar to error 1. Try the troubleshooting steps for error one as outlined below.
Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm yoursecurity software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

I am taking an Iphone 3GS that I no longer have service for and turning it to an ipod for my daughter. the phone or ipod is no longer recognized in itunes so it is not updating. I went through all the different things recommended by apple to fix the problem but still nothing. I know when I plug the phone into my computer itunes finds it because im getting a message that itunes has found an iphone but doesn't go on from there to sync or anything else.

i bought my iphone 4S in april now out of a sudden it tells me to restore with itunes, but yet all i get is the 2001 error code. I researched the internet and did all the steps, yet my phone isnt working. getting very upset here! Who can help????

i feel it in the water yesterday and had it dry for 3 hours i think,,thinking it was dry i switched it ON,,,and the apple logo appears,..at first it function properly until a few minutes the battery get low and the worst thing i had it recharged...when the battery reach 100% i removed the USB cable and thats the start, it switch OFF and when i try to switch it on,,i ended up in DFU mode and connect to itunes...i brought the unit in the apple store but they cannot restore it,they told me the hardware might be the problem,,,they tried restoring it twice but error 2001 is all they got,,,is this the same scenario with yours?please help me,,,,

HT201210 Iphone 5 repeating apple logo. Error Code 2001.

Iphone 5 just went blank overnight. Won't boot up, simply displays apple logo on and off repeatedly.
Tried Recovery mode and all the steps from apple. Itunes will not restore it but gives the Error code 2001.
Help!

This error could also be hardware related:
Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware.

My Iphone 5 is completely down; error code 2001. How can I fix this. I updated the last version of ITunes. Before then phone went black the battery run empty very fast. I had a long flight and switched the phone completely off with 30% battery remaining to make sure that I had battery after I landed. However I couldn't get it working anymore. When I push the home and the "off" button at the same time I see a Itunes logo and a USD connection with an arrow.
