I have an Apple 4S 'phone in recovery mode. There are some videos I would like to recover. How is this done?
What would have caused the phone to go into recovery mode;it is only 2 years old.

Unless you backed up the phone before it went into recovery mode, there will be no way to recover the data on your phone. You have to restore the iOS via iTunes, and everything on the phone gets deleted. If you have a backup, it can be restored after restoring the iOS - otherwise SOL
There's no way for anyone here to determine what caused the recovery mode. The most common reasons are hacking/jailbreaking and any type of data corruption (to which all computing devices are vulnerable).

If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer
If you see one of following alerts, you need to erase the device:
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
"You haven't chosen to have [device] trust this computer"
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
5. iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.
If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

Audiobooks go in Music, not ibooks. Is the book you are talking about not an audiobook but an .epub or some other format where you read text? -
I have 2 apple id accounts, one on my phone and one for my ipad. I would like to be able to use icloud and be able to sync info beteween them. Is there any way to change the apple id on my iphone without losing all the music and apps?
No. You can sign in and out of the different accounts on the phone and the iPad but you can't use automatic downloads with two different ID's and if you switch to another ID on a device and then you download past purchases using that ID, you will lock yourself out of the other ID for 90 days.

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Sorry, not natively supported on a non-jailbroken iPhone, & there are no Apps that provide this capability for non-jailbroken iPhones. Apple is a US based company, & doing such is not legal in many parts of the US. That's why such is not supported.

Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. I transferred photos to my computer by cutting and pasting. I have some on my phone that I didn't cut and paste. Now they are gone and and I cannot find them anywhere on phone or computer. Are they lost forever. I have done no back-up recently or icloud. My daughters 8th grade graduation was on it. I am devastated.
A lot of I should haves. I had too many photos and while at work I opened up the 4 folders inside of the DCIM folder on my phone. I didn't think it would be a big deal to just cut the photos and paste on my computer as I have done this before. i moved one folder that had 803 pictures in it and all was fine. I ran out of time and unplugged phone and went home. When I got to work this morning I was looking at my phone and realized I only had 34 pictures. I knew there should have been 400+ there and they are gone. Don't know what happened and if they were deleted off phone or computer I cannot see them anywhere. I didn't back up (I know mistake) Lessoned learned I just hope there is something i can do!

My iPhone 3Gs has frozen and I can't do anything except turn it off by hard boot. When I plug it in, I have the apple icon and that is all. It was at 43 percent battery life when it happened and my Twitter app was giving me problems. Thoughts?

i have updated my 4s iphone to ios 6.1.3 and have trouble connecting it to wi fi . i tried to back up it on itunes and then restore it but now i have left with a phone that still doesnt connect to wi fi and lost all my data. anyone knows how to fix it?
If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, there is a hardware problem.

The pictures that are on your phone, that you don't want, did they appear there after syncing with iTunes? Or were they taken with the iphone's camera?
Pictures synced from iTunes have to be removed by syncing again, but not having those pictures checked under the Photos tab in iTunes. -
We have 2 Galaxy 4 phones that are exactly alike. They are 2-3 minutes different in the time. We share the same network.
That's pretty strange, runjudy. Are you looking at the time on the weather application or on the top right corner of your phone? If you reboot the phones, do the times sync up?
