You can't reset it. If you don't konw the password then you can't use that backup

Tones is the new name for Ringtones. If the entry is missing in the left-hand column of iTunes then enable it from Edit > Preferences > General tab.
If your existing tones are not syncing properly to your iOS device then uncheck the option to Sync Tones from the Tones tab when the device is connected, sync the device, check the option and sync again.

How to make flash not export any part of a layer that extends beyond the size of the document?
Hey guys,
I am pretty new to flash and am trying to export my file for the web, but I am have one large problem....
Within my flash file, some of the layers/objects go off of the sides of the document as I want them to. When I play the file within the test movie function within flash, the file plays fine and none of the layers that extend of the document cause problems(the samething happens when I play it in flash player). But when I open the file in a web broswer the layers that extended off the edges of the document show up. Is there anyway to get rid of this without having to redo the whole file? (ie, crop around the main document size, or set it to export only everything within the document and nothing that extends off of it?) Thanks for any help you can provide.you can use a stage-sized mask to mask all your layers and frames.

That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.

I can't get FaceTime or iMessage to connect, I enter valid password (tested and works for Apple account) and it won't connect. I have checked all settings, upgrades iOS to 8.3 rebooted, changed Apple acount PW still wont connect. My internet connection is fine Safari works and I can access all sites. I have an iPad 2. Any help on this will be greatly appreciate. iPad 2, iOS 8.3

Out of curiosity, do you have 2 step verification enabled? It was recently extended to include iMessage & FaceTime & I'm wondering if it might be causing some of the issues that some users are experiencing. -

I had an iPhone 4 , then I bought iPhone 5s , I faced a problem when I started installing any new application other than I already had on my iCloud , I was asked to enter my password of my apple account and I entered it correctly , then I was asked to answer two questions , but I forgot the answers !! I click on forgot the answers , they send me check your email , I check my email and they send me the password that I have already entered not the answers of the questions ! How can this problem be solved ?! Hope to take my message into consideration.

I have 1 user on a Mac who just started having a pop up message when opening entourage "The server for my email acount returned the error "Login Failed".

I am trying to set up Icloud keychain, but it keeps sending the verification code to my land line (which I guess I entered back when I first got my MacBook). I have gone into my apple account and changed the # to my mobile phone, but it continued to send it to the land line. Probably is something simple, but I am not a techy!!

As regardss to the iChat and iChat Sharing categorisation you have used.
In iChat 6 (lion) and Messages (Mountain Lion) the apps login to AIM and to Me.com
The Login to Me.com allows AIM to verify the password to the iCloud issued names (@me.com and @iCloud.com)
This "Dual" login also prevents the newer iCloud issued name from using this site
(it has extra Privacy settings that iChat can't access for your AIM and Aim valid Accounts)
Ignoring the @mac.com and MobileMe entries in the Add Account Screen in iChat and using the AIM one does not get around this issue.
AIM and @mac.com names still work in older versions of iChat.
The short answer is that iCloud issued Apple IDs do not work in iChat 5 or Earlier.

My daughter has used our iPad for her Apple account and now I can't use the App store because her username automatically shows up in the Apple ID window. How do I change that so I can put our Apple ID in with the appropriate Password?
Open Settings -> Store
Tap on the Apple ID shown and sign out. Then sign in with your own Apple ID.

recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not phone
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

Yes - gifts are sent to an email address not to the iTunes account, the email has a redemption code in it which the recipient then redeems. The recipient needs to be in the same country as yourself, he/she won't be able to redeem it if their account is in a different country's store.

Hi, I need to take my daughter off from our Apple account and set up her own. So, delete her from one account and create her own. Realize I sound imbecilic for not knowing how to do this. Any ideas? Thank you so much. Jules
You don't have to take her off your account exactly: she needs to sign out from your account on her computers and devices. Then she can obtain an Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com and use it to sign into System Preferences or Settings>iCloud.
However, there are some issue about this. If she has been syncing her calendars and contacts to your account then the data will disappear from her devices, but remain on your account. Individual calendars can be exported as .ics files and reimported into her account, but if she has her contacts mixed up with yours she will have to enter them individually in the new account (or export yours, import them into hers, and delete the ones she doesn't want.
More intractable is the email issue. She cannot move an address from your account to hers, so if she has been using a alias on your account to have her own address she cannot transfer it. She will have to create a new email address.
