Hi Apple support,
I have authorized for 5 computers with my user id already, thus how can i deauthorize those unwanted computers from my existing user id? Please help!

This is not possible using standard PI file adapter capabilities and you can use Scripts for this. You can send email as well from Scripts.
BPM can be an option.

Account Hacked - How to Deauthorize Computer when Under 5

Hi,
My iTunes account was hacked yesterday and all of my credit used. I am waiting on a refund now and have changed my password and reported the related card on file as stolen just in case.
However, I am concerned my account could be taken over again. I can see that there are 3 authorized computers on my account, but I can't view which ones, and I can't deauthorize any of them because there are under 5. iTunes support is email only. I find that unacceptable when it comes to security!!!! They said they have suspended my account, but I am still able to log in. I don't know how or when it is safe to make purchases again. I don't know if I can create a new account and not lose everything I have. I have received no guidance on this. The lack of support and functionality is incredible for something I see as a serious matter!!!!
The hacker was able to change my address and use all of my redemption credit and change my payment settings (removed my card - I don't know if they got the numbers or not). I just got this iPod for Christmas, and this happens immediately. I thought I had a pretty secure password and have only used my iPod/iTunes on secure WiFi.
So, can I continue to use my account? Is it secure? If I create a new one, will I have access to my previous purchases? How can I see which computers are authorized and deauthorize one or all when I have no Deauthorize All button?

my account was also hacked on 1st jan they downloaded 70 USD worth of games i think they just did it for kicks though as they seemed to just buy stuff as quickly as possible.
Ive had my account for 2 years now. This seems strange that they attack 1st Jan is there a security bug?

how do you know when yo have the lastest software updates on your older IPOD? I just purchased on home theater to replace one, Samsung, I was assured that the system would run my IPOD. I've sync'd my IPOD to my computer a number of times before the purchase and since. Samsung is telling me that I need to update my IPOD. My ITunes keeps telling me there aren't any updates out there.

It's a common way to run multiple OSs, if there's room. I've had two on my internal HD for a couple of years. Plus a small partition for a copy of my Snow Leopard Install disc. Just be sure to leave at least 10% to 15% free on each partition.
Running Lion on a partition of the disk that also contains your backups is not a good idea; if that drive fails, you risk losing both copies of your stuff!
OSX will also run somewhat more slowly, because access to an external is slower. That probably won't be very significant, though.
Also, would the decision be effected by how long I want to maintain the SL section? I am assuming once I sort out what to replace Quicken with, I won't want to keep the SL section. So would it be easy enough to 'clear out the SL data, and open the partition?

All things considered, your best bet may be to "clone" your SL partition to the second one, then (once you're sure everything is cool), erase the original (top) SL partition. You can use the Restore tab of Disk Utility for that (#7 in the same link), or a "cloning" app such as CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper. Then install Lion on the top partition.
When you're done with SL, just delete it's partition and expand the Lion partition down into the vacated space.

Yes, I consider this advisable, too - for the moment.
There may be still bugs in for which the ability to revert to LR3 can be very helpful. E.g. if tone curves are lost: the best intermediate solution could be to open LR3 and save the settings to xmp, then close LR3, open LR4 and read metadata from file.
I might uninstall LR3 probably when LR4.2 might be out...

Q: How DNS traffic behaves when we have Enterprise Domains configured in RAP-NG(IAP VPN) deployment?
The four modes available in the RAP-NG architecture are
1.Local mode
2.Centralized L2 mode
3.Distributed L2 mode
4.Distributed L3 mode
In all the above mode the common behavior is, Internet traffic is source NATed with Master IAPs local IP. The DHCP and corporate traffic behavior changes depending up on mode used in the RAP-NG architecture.
A: Below is the behavior of the DNS traffic
By Default all the DNS requests from a client are forwarded to the clients DNS server.
In a typical IAP deployment without VPN configuration, client DNS requests are resolved by the clients' DNS server.
The DNS behavior of an IAP network (SSID/wired port) configured for RAPNG is determined by the enterprise domain settings.
The enterprise domain setting on the IAP defines the domains for which the DNS resolution must be forwarded to the clients' default DNS server.
Example:
internal-domains
domain-name arubanetworks.com
In the above example if the enterprise domain is configured for arubanetworks.com, then DNS resolution for hostnames in arubanetworks.com will be forwarded to the clients' default DNS server.
The DNS resolution for rest of all the hostnames domains ex. google.com, yahoo.com etc. will be Scr-NATed to the local DNS server of the IAP.
If you need to allow all the hostnames domains to be forwarded to the clients' default DNS server we need to use "*" in the enterprise domain configuration

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from your old computer to /Music/ on your new computer.

As Silkrooster said, should be easy enough with layer styles and blending modes. To mimic the curvature you can use a simple warp style as well. You may just need multiple duplicates of the layer for ultimate control...

I have this situation: Say that I am RDP to a Windows server 2008 at least. I noticed that when I have an RDP session and I stopped working (idle) but still logged in, then I come back to it, the RDP session goes away as if I just got kicked out.
However, when I logged in again, I'm back to my session.
I looked at my GPO and I don't have anything set that relates to Terminal Session.
What is it and how do I fix this so I don't get kicked out?

Yes, set it to 1. You do not want to set it to 15 minutes or longer because that will most likely not fix the issue you are seeing. NAT Firewall timeouts are the most frequent cause of this issue,
and they are often set to 10-15-20 minutes by default.
I forget exactly, but I think in practice it will actually be 5 minute intervals when it is set to 1. The reason I said what I did is I didn't want to tell you it means minutes (which is what it means) and then you test it and realize that it is not
sending the keep alives at 1 minute intervals. If I remember correctly you can get lower by setting it to other intervals, for example, setting it to 2 would actually be more frequent than setting it to 1, but because I have noticed it stop working when
using the other intervals I recommend you set it to 1, which is the default.
Additionally, the exact behavior of the keep-alive may vary depending on the precise version, service pack, hotfixes that you are running.
The above is the longer explanation. Again I recommend you enable it and leave it at default of 1 and make sure to restart your server so the change takes effect.
