1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.

HT201303 How to change Apple ID security questions

I received and email saying my Apple ID security questions/answers had changed. I immediately changed my Apple ID password... and again the next day had to change it again because it would not work when trying to update apps on my Iphone.
So here is the problem... I see no place to change my security questions/answers on any of the webpages and contacting Apple support from my current location is impossible outside of email/webpages. And there in lies the problem with Apple support... online/email support is non-existent. But enough of my complaining about that.
Does anyone know how to go about changing Apple ID security questions/answers?

Please go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/.
Sign in when prompted then click on password and security on the left. If you'll answer the questions correctly, you'll see the questions and other infos on the page.
One more thing, I don't think we can give our own questions like before. You can contact support for more info.

Why dont you just change your Apple ID (your email)? Make a new Apple ID and do the security questions that you will remember. Also, make sure you write down all the info with your Apple ID for later refrence.
To create a new Apple ID, follow the easy steps below:
Settings > Itunes and App stores > Tap "Apple ID: (YOUR APPLE ID IS HERE!)" > Tap "Sign Out" > Tap "Create New Aple ID"

You've contacted Support in your country, and how did you contact them ? You should be able to get the questions reset by contacting Support via this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 - they should be able to reset them, as long as you can prove your id and that it's your account

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

Hi! So I haven't used iTunes in a few months but I just got an iTunes gift card and want to make a purchase. iTunes redeemed it just fine but now that I want to make a purchase I am having problems. I can't remember my security question answers and iTunes is requesting them. I have two other verified emails but the are NOT rescue emails. I can't contact iTunes over the phone because my phone lines are out and are going to be out for a long time. The only way I can contact them is by email. How can I do this? Is there an easy way to just reset all my security questions? Please help a girl out. I just want my music!

How do you reset your apple ID security question answers if you forgot them.

So,my grandad had control over my iTunes account and knew all the security question answers which I have no idea what the answers are,and he died last year,so I have no way of finding out the answers. If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
