HT201303 why when trying to purchase something it goes straight to credit card and not the balance I have on my account from gift card???

First time user here.
When trying to buy music or books for my daughters ipod it wanted to charge credit card but i places a gift card on there and it doesn't want to take it from there? Can I delete this credit card? What do I need to do?

If you are buying products as a GIFT, then it will charge your CC. You can't use a GIFT CARD to purchase another GIFT.

It has nothing to do with Firefox -- it sounds like the sites you're trying to go to are already taken down. If that's the case, try clicking the Google's results' "Cached" button, or just try the other results Google gave you.

HT5035 When I try to purchase something on iTunes using store credit, it says that the store credit is temporarily unavailable and iTunes can't use store credit for my purchase at this time. What do I do?

I'm trying to make a purchase using the $10 store credit that I have, but a notification box comes up saying, "Store credit temporarily unavailable. We cannot use store credit for this purchase at this time. Do you want to pay for this item with your other pay method on file?" Why is it saying this? Error when trying to cancel an incoming payment using a Credit Card

I have searched and tried several things but I cannot seem to cancel an incoming payment when the credit card tab was used. I have tried to cancel before deposits, after the deposit (cancelling the deposit and then trying to cancel the inc. payment) but I still get the error. I have yet to see any post that will give a good process on how to fix this error.
I did change the general settings for the credit voucher from automatic to manual in hopes that this will help future postings but I need the prior ones corrected that were made with the credit voucher option set to automatic.

Cannot cancel Incoming Payment. One of the credit vouchers were cashed.

Perhaps the easiest solution is changing the server date and making the operations to cancel the incoming payment.

After errors with disk partition, I removed Windows from my iMac. Now when I start my computer it goes into a black screen and not straight into the Mac area like it used to, unless I hold Alt straight away to give me the option. Any help?

Sorry, I'm new to the community, so apologies if I'm repeating myself.
OK, so I tried to install Windows Vista onto my iMac with the disk partition. Everything was going fine and it wasn't until last minute, when it was installed that an error came up saying that this can only be done with Windows 7. After this error, I couldn't access any errors of my iMac and when I shut down and restarted my computer, it automatically logged into Windows.
So after a panic, I rang Apple Care and the lady helped me log into my apple area, delete Windows from my iMac, and all was restored.
However, now when I shut down my computer and boot it back up, I think my iMac is trying to log into Windows areas that no longer exist. It loads up a black screen and doesn't move from there. To log into my Apple area, I have to do the whole process of holding Alt immediately after I switch the power on and access the Mac drive and log in that way.
It's beginning to become a real pain and I'm paranoid this process is going to damage my computer. Any advice on how to restore logging-in back to it's former glory when I first purchased it?

Why does my 3rd gen ipad only charge with an iPhone charger and not the 10w charger it came with?

Im only asking this because it's annoying me , but my 3rd gem ipad will not charge with its 10w charger ? It will happily charge with my iPhone charger, and my iPhone will happily charge with the 10w charger but why won't the ipad charge with the charger it came with ? Any ideas ?

Log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version of the account so as to 'refresh' it on it.
