How is iTunes telling you it is unlocked? Did you go through an unlock procedure with your cell company and then Restore it in iTunes?

so I bought a new Iphone and I've had Itunes on my computer for years but the email i used when setting up my original account no longers exists. So I have no way of acessing it. When I bought my phone i put in my current email and I verified it. I can't have my old library with the new email and when i tried to change it i got the message that the email was registered to another I.D Which of course is the one with the phone. help! my iphone was recently stolen before i had chance to sync it or back it up to icloud i purchased an album, how can i get that album in my itunes to listen to. I can search for the album an it just comes up purchased but i cant listen to it
If you bought it from the iTunes Store, click here and follow the instructions; the process of iTunes Store content being put in the iCloud is automatic.
If you got it from another source, reload it from that source.

After doing the backup and restore how do you know if the iphone is unlocked if you do not get the message: "Unlock Complete. Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked. To set up and sync this iPhone, click Continue."
If you don't get the message, your phone is NOT unlocked.

Issue 1:
I have installed IOS 7 in my 4s and when i connect it to my Mac itunes it detects my phone but i am not able to copy from the itunes version 11.1 (126).
can some one check why i am not able to transfer pics or music from my Mac to iPhone 4s and can let me know on this please.

sathishI have the same problem. I think that someone tried my iphone before me because when I want to reset it, I'm invited to enter a password that I didn't set. Also, when I go the Map application, the iphone indicate that I'm locateded in China while I'm in Tunisia. Now, I can't connect to my iphone to itunes, and I can't reset it because it ask me to enter a password that I didn't set.

I have a 3g iPhone and when I open iTunes, there is no "Purchased" button. How can I get one?
I have some past purchases that show up on my "Purchased" list when I am on my computer (Windows Vista machine), but they do not appear in my Library - so I cannot simply drag the songs from Library to the iPhone when it is connected to the computer. Elsewhere on this site (specifically here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 ) I am told I can just open iTunes on my iPhone, click on the "Purchases" tab, tap the artist name, etc. to download to the iPhone. But without a "Purchase" tab (and I have checked in the "More" area to see if it is there), this is a pretty difficult task. (Also just as additional info, I am running iTunes 10.4.1.10 and have recently synced the iPhone.) Also my computer is the only "device" associated with the iTunes Cloud beta and, as an alternative (?), maybe I could figure out a way to "associate" the iPhone as well?

My hard drive failed. My applications were on the drive including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Apple told me I could pull everything from the failed drive. I tried that but the drive is bad so I can't get to anything. The Office package was installed/included when I purchased the Mac. Does anyone think Apple will provide me with the Office package? Thank you everyone. I apologize to confusing all but I am up to date and running OS X 10.8.2. It's possible I purchased the key for Office but I don't think so although it was 3-4 years ago. I guess I will stop in the Apple Store and just ask. I may just buy the new bundle anyway to get the most updated.
I have read there are issues with the MS Office bundle running on our latest OS, is that true?

When i got on itunes after i was told my iphone4 is unlocked. I got this MSG that this sim is not supported then I can't do anything. I don't have any icons on my phone and I can't restore thru iTunes. Anyone has similar experience? What do u do? AT&T told me my phone is unlocked but I can't do anything need help. My sim is with TMobile.
You'll need to either a) insert your AT&T SIM card and then restore the phone, or b) force your iPhone into recovery mode. If you re-insert the AT&T SIM card, make sure you swap it with your new T-Mobile one before you start the setup assistant. If you force the phone into recovery mode then just leave the T-Mobile SIM card in it.
You must restore your iPhone to complete the setup assistant so that your phone can be activated with T-Mobile.

I am trying to use my iphone as a storage device to move my music library to a new computer. My phone is showing up as a camera instead of as a storage device on my old computer so I can not move my music file to it. Any ideas as to how I prevent this as showing up as a camera/scanner when I connect to my computer?
It's supposed to show up as a camera because it is a camera. Additionally, you won't be able to sync your music from your iphone back to iTunes... media sync is one way... iTunes to the iPhone.

hello, i have updated my iphone 5 black 16 gb to ios 7.0.2 (11a501) and my battery life of my iphone has become worse it gives 9 hours of usage with out doing anything, i have done everything every tip that is available online i had 3gs and 4s so i know how to save battry life,i even tried not using my iphone as well but still no change at all!. i have upadted to ios 7.0.3 then downgraded it , i thought battery may be an issue ,so i put brand new battery still no change , so what should i do ? , update to the latest version which is ios 7.0.4 or wait for the ios 7.1 , i was using iphone 4s running on ios 6.1 it gave me 3 days of battery timing , iphone 5 seemed to be very bad for me ,help ! ?
its facory unlocked btwTry to do a reset, if it doesn't work try remove recently added apps this may solve your problem ( like google app because it has happened with me)
Take a look at apps using your location service in privacy, it can cause battery draining. -

I just purchased a Samsung DVD player with a USB port; Samsung says you can use a PC or player to play music using the USB port; I tried to use my iPhone but it doesn't recognize it. Can you use an iPhone as a player, or would it have to be an iPod? Or is there some ap?

If you are trying to connect via wifi to our iPhone then the password should be displayed on your phone when you go into Personal Hotspot, by default it is a random password set by the phone but you can change it there.

You cannot. The iPhone is locked to Softbank, and only they can unlock it. Problem is that Softbank will NOT unlock the phone, as they do not offer iPhone unlocking.
Buy an iPhone in the Phillipines.
PS Before you go on a rant at Apple, be aware that Apple does NOT unlock phones and they do not set unlocking policies. The carriers (Softbank in this case) set the unlocking policy.
