The SIM card when used with iPhone only contains your phone number and makes connection with the Carrier you have your cell phone account with. You can keep and use your old SIM Card as long as you don't inactivate it with your Carrier. I am on my fifth upgraded iPhone, and I am still using my Original Cingular SIM Card before Cingular bought ATT out, and then decided to change the company name to ATT. So using iPhone SIM Cards is very flexible, you decide everything.

Go into iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the MobileMe account. That should stop those messages. If they come up just click on the More Information buttion. That will circumvent the download and take you to an Apple website that you an close and ignore.
Also log out of MoblleMe in the System/MobileMe preference pane.

You did not ruin the phone, you will need a sim card to activate the phone and then connect the phone to itunes and do a restore from back up.

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

Can I change my verified primary email address that is currently associated with my apple id? I don't want to change my apple id because I have music and apps assoicated with it. I tired following some of the posts that shows going to an apple dialog that allows you to update your apple id and primary email separately, but when I try doing it I get a dialog that says I can update my apple id and my primary email. Did you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like you are returning to an old iPhone that has been erased and you would like to set it up as a new device without restoring from a backup which would affect the name of your iPhone, as well as the contents therein. Basically, it seems like you may be stuck on a screen that is asking if you would like to restore your device from the backup that is filed under the name of your new iPhone, or if you would like to set up the device as a new device. I would suggest that you set it up as a new device to achieve your desired results.

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
