HT201365 Didn't have a password lock prior to downloading iOS 7 and not I can't access my phone.
I didn't have a password lock on my iPhone 5 when I upgraded to iOS 7. Now when I swipe in, it gives me the password screen and I can't get by it.
try resetting your phone by turning it off and back on again. Also, the server may still be slammed from all the activity, so it may take a little with to connect.

Hold down the home button and the power button for about 25 seconds or until you see the apple logo. Thats a hard reset and it should restart the phone and bring it back to the slide to unlock.

My OS is windows 8.1. Today when going onto itunes it asked me to update to 11.something so I dd. Now I can't access itunes at all. Keep getting an error message. error 127. I've tried repairing. Uninstalling and re installing. Can't seem to contact anyone at apple to get support - just keep going around and arond on their contact page.
Log in to the Developer forum. You will find instructions on how to install the lastest beta. Your problem is the beta you have installed has expired. All of them did on October 5; you will find hundreds of threads discussing this. If you have a beta it is assumed that you will continue as a beta tester, so a simple update using iTunes will not work.
If you no longer want to be a beta tester install the GM 7.0.2 by restoring from iTunes using DFU mode. -
Ok so. I want to get iOS 5 on my iPhone 4 but my computer recently broke on me right before the release. So im going to barrow a apple laptop from a friend but I'm wondering if I plug my phone into it, and if my data will go on the laptop from my phone and stay there so when my phone restores I can redownload my info back on my phone. I'm trying to think of ways I can try to get iOS 5 on my iPhone 4 please help.

How can I access or find my wishlist I created on itunes??? I was searching itunes using my husband's account but didn't have his password - so instead of buying - I added all the songs using the wish list so I can buy them at a later date when he arrived home - I wanted to check the list and I discovered I can't find anywhere that says "wishlist".....
If it was your husband's account that was logged in when you added the songs then it will be linked to his account - if his account is still logged in then on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on the computer's iTunes there should be a Quicklinks section with a wish list link underneath it which should have them on it :
(There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen, but you now have to buy each item individually by clicking on their price.) -
When I got my ipod I made an account with iTunes right from my ipod.Yesterday, I made a password lock to get into my ipod and I couldn't get into it even though I did the correct one. Now it says"connect to iTunes" BUT I can't because I never registered on the computer. I've tried holding the home and sleep/wake button for 10 sec and then only the home for 5sec and that might have reset it, but it didn't help. If any of you guys know what to do so I can unlock it I would appreciate it VERY much.

My cousin's iphone gave it to me but the bad thing is, it has a icloud and i can't access the phone. my cousin is involved to a motorcycle accident and he got a amnesia so he didn't remember anything to this phone. I entered the password so many times so that i can't activate the icloud account. Please, I need to access this phone immediately for emergency purposes. You are my only hope. I got locked out of Mac os 9 and now I can't get into OS 9 or OS X. All I see is the Macintosh SE and a finder face and text that says "mac os 9.2 welcome to mac os". I can't get into COntrol Panel to reset the password to allow me to get in.
Do you have OS X and OS 9 installed on your Mac? If so, startup with the Option key depressed. This will open the Startup Manager window. Select the OS you want to start from & click the right arrow.

So I have an iphone and for some reason I don't know the password for my Apple ID so I can't download apps and I don't have the password to my email to change it and I don't know the secret questions , what can I do to make a new Apple ID ?
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -
I recently downloaded Ios 7 and all the songs that i have purchased before, but deleted off my itunes because i didn't want them, showed up. I don't know how to delete them off my ipod and i really don't want them there. Is there a way to get them off? The songs dont show up in my itunes on my computer, just on my ipod with a download button next to them. I don't want them there anymore because i don't like that kind of music anymore and i don't know how to get them to go away.
There is a similar setting for Videos on that Settings screen, so if you leave that 'on' you may have similar happening in the Videos app

Then you should talk to that person. Apple won't help you if the iOS was downloaded illegally, and since this is their community, due to Terms of Use, no one here will help you either.

my apple id for icloud is linked to an invalid email address and i do not have the password for the account. I need to delete the account to access my icloud on my iphone. any ideas on how to override this issue?
If you updated the old ID at one point to create your current iCloud ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.
