I've changed my Apple ID because of a new email address but this phone won't allow me to change it to my new Apple ID in iCkoud because if the find iPhone lock. I'm stumped - can't even erase or restore the phone because of this **** lock and to turn off find my iPhone it tries my old id which is not current so therefore won't work???
Can anyone help?
All my other devices can be changed by deleting the account from the device and reinstalling but not this one.?

If you still have access to your old email address, do the following:
Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the pimary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was. You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so. You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

It is an iPad 2, 64GB, with wifi and 3G, running the latest iOS 8.1.2, with 43.7 GB available. I am not using the cloud. Everything I need is backed up, so loss of the information on this device is not critical.
About 2 years ago I canceled this account and created a new one when I abandoned my road runner email and change to gmail. Tech support talked me through the transition then and it is fine on all my devices (iPhone, Mac-mini, Macbook Air) except the iPad 2, which i use the most. The same thing happened to my mothers iPad 3 a few months ago, with the same repeating pop-up after changing email/appleid accounts), Apple support helped me restore hers, but mine is no longer a covered device.
This issue started about a year ago, I can cancel the pop-up but it continues to returns, it went away for a few months, then somewhere in the last few months it started happening daily, now it cycles through about every 5 - 15 seconds. Can't do anything, I have reset the iPad 2 all that did was delete my existing settings, it will not accept the old password all I can do is cancel it (until it returns again).
Need the directions to delete the old appleid and accept the new applied on this device.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

The password will not be sent to you, because Apple does not know it. They will send a link where you can reset the password. Yes that makes sense, however have you updated it at My Apple ID before trying to change it in your system preferences > iCloud settings, you must do that first.

If oyu get rid of the account you will lose all of your previous purchases. Your best bet is to call AppleSupport because they are now reseting the passwords and the security questions on there.
