You could use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

- You need at least iOS 2 for apps. Go to Settings>General>About>version to find the iOS version. If you have a 1G iPod you can get the last update for that model here:

Contact Apple, either through the link in that article or by phoning them. Alternatively, just create a new Apple ID; previous iTunes Store purchases won't be transferred to it.

Mov is a container format, you'd need to look at the codec used by the movie file inside the container to know whether it will work with the Apple TV or not.

It does not magically appear in a new place. It will only be where you put it.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

The password will not be sent to you, because Apple does not know it. They will send a link where you can reset the password.
