HT201412 im under 18 i dont have a credit card and not allowed to use parents card - can i open an account without a credit card?
im having a number of problems with my ipod but the only way i can fix it is to have an account but it will not let me create one because i do not have a credit card - currently i am using my step dads account but because he got billed for some reason from apple he has changed his password so now i am needing my own account but can not move on from the payment page.

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

If that still doesn't fix the problem, then the keyboard (or its controller) is probably damaged and needs to be replaced. -

Lightroom doesn't show a thumbnail image and when trying to import it says the camera format isn't supported. But normaly Camera raw 6.6 should cover the Canon eos 6D

ThanksNo, the older versions are not free. If you upgrade you will have to get Lr5 unless you can still find Lr4 for sale somewhere as it has been discontinued by Adobe. You can also use the FREE DNG converter to convert the 6d files for use in Lr3.6.

Setting up my new macbook pro and I went to install the firefox download currently available on the mozilla site and I double-click the firefox .dmg download file and a window pops up and says "The following disk images cannot be opened. Firefox20-1.0.dmg. Reason: not recognized.
Nothing else comes up as an option.

i was trying to update my iphone 5 to the new iOS but some how in between it kept crashing. after a few attempts to install the update it automatically gave me the screen to which it was asking to plug into itunes and making the phone disfunctional . i dont have access to itunes and wont for a few more days. can i just take it to the apple store and have them update the phone to where is now functional?

You must have a valid method of payment even for free apps, in case you make in-app purchases (you won't be charged). You can use an iTunes gift card.

i have an ipod, ipad, and iphone. ilike to use imessage on all of them but i dont want messages to appear on the devices i am not currently using. nor do i want to have to keep a saparate account / id for each device how do i fix the settings on each so that with the same ID / login I can chech me emails, share contacts etc, be able to use i messenger on each without the whole conversation automatically beiing picked up by my other devices? some conversations just arent intended to be shared!
Turn it into the local police department with an explanation as to who you tried to contact and what they told you. That's the only safe procedure, as otherwise the owner could report the iPod as stolen, even though you tried to return it, and get you into trouble.

I had a av cord that plugged into the iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 but its not compatible with the 5 connector. Right now i have to email myself the videos in small segments and open and save on the iPad 2 to burn them. Is there an easier way to burn these from my iPhone 5 or through air play on apple tv?

You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

They will ask you for two pieces of information from the account in order to unlock it. The options are usually the security questions (each question counts as one piece), the credit card linked to the account, and either a device serial number or device verification code that they will send you.
After this verification is complete they can send the reset link for your password to any email you choose. Please be aware that if they verify you with something other than two security questions, there is a 24 hour wait before the email arrives.
