iPad2 won't sync with iMac and only my iphone4 shows in the devices window on my iMac. For some reason it will not detect my iPad via my wireless network! The iPad will sync when plugged into the Mac however looses connection and disappears from the device window when unplugged.

If things worked in the other location this all point to poor network performance/connectivity. It may be the connection is intermittently lost - small files transfer ok, but interruptions during longer transfers scupper the process.

Since this first message, the "Other" space has increased exponentially. The first time, after the "restore", it increased to over 9 GB. Later, I tried a minor restore again, and now it's over 10 GB. I've seen someone suggest that text messages are to blame. If my text messages are suddenly taking up 4 GB of space, I think we've got bigger problems.

So I just changed from an iphone4S to an iphone 5 because my screen didn't work any longer on the 4s but the phone itself still works so I managed to get all my contacts etc BUT for some reason I can't transfer all my music across to itunes and therefore I can't get it onto my new phone, it only transfers about 50% of it.
Then when i go into music on the iphone 5 it shows the music but won't let you play anything and just flicks through all the songs without playing anything.
Can anyone help please?

Your iPhone will appear like a camera in that application and allow you to copy photos from the phone to your computer as well as delete or leave alone the photos on the iPhone.

I have about 70 Cd's loaded on my computer as I had previously owned another MP3 device before I got enamored with the Ipad and Iphone. My problem is itunes will not recognize all of this music. To give a specific example, I have an old Bon Jovi Cd "crossroads" , itunes only recognizes 2 songs off the Cd. How can I get itunes to recognize these songs? They do not show up on itunes anywhere but if i go to my music folder I can locate the songs and it even shows the itunes logo but, the songs will not play with itunes. I've got a few hours of music i would like to have on my iphone. Can anyone please help me with this?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the computer, then sync.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone to your computer - File>Devices>Transfer Purchases -

I have a issue with my mac book pro. For some reason it won't stay powered on. I can't get past the apple loading logo. The battery is fully charged so it is not the problem. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be and how can i get it resolved?

• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

Just switched from H20 to T Mobile. For some reason I am only picking up 2G instead of 4G Network on this phone. Is there a way to get a carrier update to fix this? I have other T Mo devices at same location and they are all picking up 4G service

I have 5 frequently-used websites on app tabs on my Firefox browser window. I've had these since I first saw the update about app tabs, and I have never before had a problem with it.
Today, I was working in one tab, and realized I needed to check something on the website at another app tab. I have done that sort of thing many times. But for some reason today, when I clicked on that other app tab, there seemed to be a long wait like it was working hard to make the switch, then suddenly a new Mozilla Firefox window opened with the only tab being the "another app tab" that I had clicked on.
That particular app tab is now missing from my original browser window.
I must've clicked something by accident or hit another key while I was clicking with the mouse on the app tab that I wanted to look at. I have no idea why it opened in its own window and disappeared from my app tabs on the original window.
How do I get that app tab back with the others on the original browser window? Is there any way other than simply starting over and re-pinning that site as an app tab?
If I have to re-pin it on the original window, is there a way to make that app tab the 1st in sequence the way it was before it opened in its own window? It is my most-commonly-used app tab, so I'd really like it to be the first in line, so to speak.

Firefox 3.5 versions and later have a feature called tear-off tabs.<br />
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.<br />
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.<br />
