HT204053 I have multiple apple id's - how do I find them all?

I have multiple apple ids. I can not remember the security questions any more and now I can not access my email using my old email address. I now get a "Your account has been locked" message - very annoying!

To find all your AppleIDs log into
My Apple ID https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
There use the link Find your Apple ID  in the lower right of the window.
On the same page you can use the "Reset your Password" link to manage your Apple ID and require that your security questions will be reset. You will receive an email notification with instructions how to proceed.

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I have photos I want to group together in one album, but can't do this because some may have the same number. How can I combine them all into one album? I was trying to move several albums onto a USB drive and it stated all other files exist at this location.  They are pictures taken at different times and have the same number I guess.

In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name

  • Duplicate Files...How can I find them all?

I have many duplicate files. How can I locate them all so I can organize them (delete the ones I don't need)? Is there a program that will do this?

    kyrospeare,
How did you figure out that you have duplicate files?
    What/where are they?
You will inevitably be the best judge of what files are duplicates. Although there are applications such as Spring Cleaning 8.0 the reviews are not flattering. Although I have not used it, I have heard that in the hands of an inexperienced user it can create havoc.

  • HT204053 can you have multiple apple id's for the family but we all use the same iCloud?

Can you have multiple apple id's for the family members but we all us the same iCloud account?

You'll have to have an ID you all share in order to have a shared iCloud account. It would be sensible for each person to have their own ID and their own iCloud account for email and their own data (each would be on their own computer/iOS device or user account on a Mac) and then have a common account which everyone would sign into in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars to access shared data.
You don't want to be all using the email in a common account - if people are using email aliases remember these can't be detached from the account and transferred to another one. Having all your emails mixed up together can be somewhat impracticable.

  • I have two apple id's how can i convert them two one

I have 2 apple id. How can i convert to one?

Currently there is no path for that.
Pick the Apple ID or iTunes account that you want to use and stick to it for all purchases as you cannot consolidate purchases from multiple accounts.

I also have an id assciated with a [email protected] email that I use for all other apple servcies and personal email. • HT204053 I have multiple apple devices, 2x phones ipad etc, but all are through the same email and I only get the storage space for one device, what should I do?

I have multiple devices all under the same id and email but I don't get multiple icloud storage space and it's running out!
Can anyone help as I've just bought an iphone for my daughter and would like to link it as well.
Thanks in anticipation of your help.

One icloud account gets a 5 GB of storage, regardless of the number of devices connecting to it.  But you're in luck, you can buy more storage for the account if you are running low.
As for your daughter, be sure to get her own icloud account, otherwise she'll end up getting all your email, contacts, etc.  And if she deletes any of this data, it will be deleted on your devices as well.  Note:  you can all keep using the same ID for the itunes store for sharing purchased items.
To create a new icloud account, go to

  • HT204053 I have an apple id but how do I get one for icloud?

I am trying to use photo stream and have an apple id but it just tells me it doesn't work for icloud, but doens't say how to get one.

Make sure you are checking the primary email address for the Apple ID you are using for your iCloud account.  If you are and it still isn't there, try resending it by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.
