I purchased an audio book through my ipad and it didn't download on my iphone 4s. How do I download it onto my iphone without purchasing it again. I have tried syncing my ipad and it only shows up on my ipad but no where else.
This helped me to upload it onto my computer but when I synced my iphone it did not upload. How do I get it to download from my computer if syncing it didn't work?

As long as you have the serial number you should not have an issue installing and activating Lightroom when you finish the system reinstall.

I bought an Audio Book in my iPad but can't find it? should it be under iBooks? it's downloaded in my iTunes
It should be in the Music app (iBooks is for written books) - when you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library (Audiobooks if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it). -
my pc crashed and erased my itunes songs purchased from the itunes store. How do i get that content back without having to purchase them again?
I have somewhat of a similar problem. After iTunes last update, I am missing some of my purchased files of music,ringtones, and TV shows. Possibly movies, but just thought of that and did not look yet. Seems everytime there is an iTunes update, something happens, but usually an easy fix by just deleting music files from CD's that I loaded onto iTunes and no longer recognized after an update and reload from the hard drive. This time I do not have a current back up of all the music, ringtones, and tv shows I have purchased.
So I am also wondering how can I redownload purchases without being charged when there is no file left on the hard drive. It just stays listed in iTunes though. -
I recently got around to syncing my iPhone 4S with my laptop - hadn't done it for a while. For some reason it seems that the sync wiped the songs I had been purchasing over a few months via the iPhone on iTunes music store - and now they can't be found anywhere! Neither on the phone nor the laptop.
have any of you experienced this and how did you get your tunes back???

Thanks for the tip. Tried that - but seems not to work on the Danish iTunes store. Something to do with rights, I think. But will try again. Any other ideas?

Im a new Mac user. I currently just bought a new MacBook Pro. The first computer I got apparently had a problem with the flex, so I had to go change it for a new one. The first one had the latest operating system, the second one the store gave me didn't, yet it's still a brand new computer, so I don't see why I should have to pay for the new operating system, which should already come with my brand new computer. So I am trying to contact apple so they may give me permission to download it from the app store for free, due to this inconvenience and first bad experience. The vendor tells me that sometimes new computers may come with old operating systems because they're from an old batch of new computers. Oh and by the way, I'm from Honduras, and bought it at Jetstereo, in Tegucigalpa (the capital). This store is a licensed distributor.

I just went to iTunes and realized that my audiobooks have been wiped out. I just did an update for iTunes. The audiobooks were the last time I went to look at them, but now they are gone. I could use some help.
I am happy to say that I finally figured out how to get my calendar back: I dug deep into the bowels of the phone, and discovered that syncing had been changed from "all events" to "one month." I changed it back, and - presto! - my life returned.
I am sorry to say that I didn't get any help from anyone at Apple or on this forum. I don't understand why the Appleistas feel free to change these things without warning us, and without telling us how to fix them. I like this phone, but because of the company's institutional arrogance, I strongly doubt that I will ever purchase another Apple product. -

Did you copy your actual iTunes content from your computer before reinstalling iTunes, or did you just copy your iTunes library which only contains the pointers to your songs / books locations ?
You might, depending upon your country and if they are still in your country's store, be able to redownload your music purchases and your ibooks via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - you will need to delete the entries from your library (where you are getting the 'unable to locate' messages) before they will potentially show with the cloud icon against them in Purchased for redownloading.
Or copy them from your backup of your downloads/library and add them to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library -
