HT204074 'manage devices' button is missing in iTunes account

When opening my iTunes account I can only see that there are two devices active via my account. However, a 'Manage Devices' button is missing. How can I delete and/or add new devices in my account?
Many thanks in advance, Morilene

It is not missing but is on the far right hand side. So you may have to widen your window to see it.

  • HT204074 I haven't "Manage devices" button on the Account information screen....

I'd like to disconnect one of my Apple devices from my Apple ID.
There is a very simple decision in this site, but it does not work.... (I haven't "Manage devices" button on the Account information screen....)
    Help me please....

You're going into Store > View My Account on your computer's iTunes, and it should then show under the 'iTunes in the Cloud' section.  Have you currently got any devices/computers associated with your account for automatic downloads and/or have you downloaded previous purchases on them ? If you haven't then it might not appear - that screen will only allow you to view the associated devices and remove them, it doesn't let you add them there.

"Manage Devices" is not on my account information page in Itunes Store....where can i find it?

The "Manage Devices" button is not there because you don't have any computers or devices enabled for automatic downloads.  After following the steps contained in the link below, the button will appear in your account information page.

  • HT1495 how many devices can be on one itunes account

How many devices can be on one itunes account ? Is there a maximum

For syncing iPods and iOS devices, there's no limit.
For iTunes Store authorization, the limit is 5 computers.
For iTunes Match, the limit is 10 computers and iOS devices.

  • HT1420 I have a number of devices linked to a single iTunes account. Of these devices, two of the originals were computers whose hard drives failed and I was unable to die authorise them before the failure occurred. Is there a way of deauthorising them on

I have a number of devices linked to a single iTunes account. Of these devices, one was a laptop whose hard drive failed, and one was an iPad which died. My question is if it is possible to remotely deauthorise these devices or is it necessary to deauthorise all devices on the account and then reauthorise those devices which are still current.
    Thanks
    Tan Anu

iPads don't count in the number of authorisations, only computers count. Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you have 2 or more computers authorised then you can 'deauthorise all' (which you can only do once every 12 months) and you can then reauthorise the computers that you still have and need (deauthorising a computer doesn't remove any content from it).

  • HT204074 I do not see a "Manage Devices" link when I access my account information through iTunes. I want to know how many devices are linked to my account. Can anyone help?

I have accessed the Apple Support site http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627 but I could not find the "Manage Devices" link on iTunes. The advice they give is as follows:
You can view which devices or computers are currently associated, remove unused devices or computers, and see how long before they can be associated with a different Apple ID from the Account Information page in iTunes on your computer:
    Open iTunes.
Sign in to your Apple ID by choosing Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
Choose Store > View My Account from the iTunes menu.
From the Account Information screen, click Manage Devices.
Next to each device or computer name, you will be able to see when each was associated to your Apple ID. You will also be able to track how many days are remaining before your associated devices or computers can be associated to a different Apple ID.
Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hello from Albania,
Please help me !! I'm desperate
I sold my iPhone 4s a few months ago.
Now i got my self a new iPad and created a new apple ID which i recently accociated with ITunes and ICloud.
However, i can't update anything on my Mac since it still requires the old apple id, even though i changed it anywhere i could.
I also don't get the manage devices when i tried to do this through the iTunes.
I have no idea what to do.
    Waiting for your reply.

  • HT204074 Manage devices link missing

I'm in iTunes, I've signed in, I've gone to manage my account but there is no device management link. Anywhere. Does this article need updating?

iPhone was, of course, connected before I tried. It shouldn't need to be connected to manage the list of devices associated with one's Apple ID in my opinion, but still, there is currently no manage devices link within the iTunes account information page.

  • HT204074 The "Manage Devices" function not found in iTune

I cannot find the "Manage Devices" function in the iTune Account Information screen.  Any help?

The Function not found error is thrown when the OS can't provide the pointer to the function in the library to LabVIEW for some reason. For more information and common solutions see:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/44E40ACF1644DB77862562990054D672?OpenDocument
The only reason I can think of why the first time it works correctly is that the DLL is not correctly clean-up by the close functions. Thus causing a second request for the pointer to fail due to this. (closing LabVIEW will remove the DLL form memory and thus probably clearing the error).
    Hope this Helps

  • HT204074 Manage Devices on iTunes

I got to View My Account all right, but I do not see Manage Devices.  Help!

OH MY GOSH!! I just figured it out. Good thing, because I was not going to be able to function until I did.
The reason I didn't have a "manage devices" option is because I had not authorized any of my devices (Windows PC, iPod Touch, iPhone) to automatically download anything from my iCloud.
Once I went into my settings and did so, I suddenly had "manage devices," and all three of my devices showed up.
Here's the link to show you how to enable automatic downloads on a Mac, PC, or device (iPhone, iPod Touch).

    Hope that helped!
I guess iTunes isn't sexist after all...

  • HT204074 Manage Devices missing?

    Hello,
    I read this article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
I would like to remove an associated device from an Apple ID
I am using iTunes 11.0.2.26 I can't find the option "Manage Devices"
    Please advice.
    Thanks.

iPhone was, of course, connected before I tried. It shouldn't need to be connected to manage the list of devices associated with one's Apple ID in my opinion, but still, there is currently no manage devices link within the iTunes account information page.

  • HT204074 How do I see what devices are associated with my iTunes account?

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 contains this advice:
Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.
Sadly, "Manage Devices" isn't actually there, so I can find no way of seeing which devices and PCs are associated with my Apple ID and how to delete or add to them.

Manage devices relates to the devices or computers you have set up to automatically download content from your iTunes account aka "iTunes in the Cloud". You can have up to 10 such devices. This is a separate list from the list of 5 computers that can be authorized to play your protected content. There is no similar feature to list this second group, but when you get to 5 computers you can choose to deauthorize all and start again. You cannot use that feature again for a year.

  • HT204074 Can I device be registered two 2 iTunes accounts anymore?

So I have two iTunes accounts in our family and we both own the iPad. Does this 90 days count only once the first time it is registered or can I have the same device registered to both accounts and sign in and out of our accounts when needed?
For years I have been signing in and out of the iPad with the two accounts. Never had an issue before?
Seems VERY annoying to limit and a ridiculous time frame too. Also where is the timer? If I sell the iPad do they have to wait 90 days to login?

The page that I linked to was last updated on May 9th - how long before that it might have been around I don't know. If you don't use automatic downloads or re-download past purchases then you should be ok, buying new content should not associate your account with that device.
The timer appears to be stored on your account - from that page :

  • My husband and I have separate iTunes accounts and multiple devices (iPads, iPhones, iPods etc) how do we share our music and apps between our devices if we have different iTunes accounts.

Help! My husband and I have multiple devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod ) that we we have linked to individual iTunes accounts ie he has his account with iPad, iPhone, PC and iPod linked/sync and I have my account with iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, PC etc.. How do we share our music and apps across/between our accounts?

It probably means that only one of you can use iCloud or at least sync calender/contacts with it. I would guess that you could manually manage the other phone as you have before.
