Symptoms
No ringer sound
Go to Settings > Sounds > Ringtone and select a ringtone. Does the device ring? (YES: Issue resolved) (NO: Go to step 2)

Does your daughters email address show up as one of the options in the From line as discussed above? If so, try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and its the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. If that doesn't solve it then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
The email on my iPad seems to keep disappearing. I have checked all of the settings, viewing settings, etc. On mail. I have compared it next to the settings on the iPhone and see no differences. The mail stays fine on the iPhone and the computer. Can anyone help me??

I had this problem too. What I did was go to notifications on settings and turn everything on. If that doesn't work, go on the apps and then try their settings. Hope this helps

iMac variant? If you have Mac OS 10.7 or higher, do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu and, in the resulting window, click teh "More Info..." butotn to get this:
What do the first two line sread on your computer? In the image, those lines tell us I have 27-inch Mid 2010 iMac. While there you can also see your current Mac OSX version, the amount of RAM installed, and the processor type and speed, all good thing to append yo any question posted here.
For security reasons, DO NOT post your serial number.
If you have an older version of the Mac OS, post back for extra instructions that will help us identify your model. -
I no longer have sound when playing my clips through adobe premiere elements 12. How to I correct this problem? I have checked all audio levels and there is no mute on etc. I updated to 12.1, but still no sound in any clips. Even not on old files which used to work.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on? Can we assume that this audio plays back OK
on the same computer when you are using a computer player independent of Premiere Elements?
What are the properties of these clips that worked before but do not know with regard to sound
For now, I will assume that you are working on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
Have you checked the Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO settings? Do you have any 3rd party audio devices incorporated in your computer environment?
Please delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if that does not work, then the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. The Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit path is

and, in the 12.0 Folder, is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Make sure that you are working with Folder Option "Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives" active so that you can see the complete path cited.
Do you have installation files or installation disc with the purchased serial number in case we need to resort to uninstall/reinstall?

Running on Lion, never had a problem before until the old airport died and I replaced it.try connecting the device in _*recovery mode*_, then restore from your backup.

I get "mail server does not recognize your Apple ID and password" when I try to share a picture via email in iPhoto. My iCloud email works ok otherwise. I have checked all mail settings for ID and password.
In the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete the account and re-enter it - sometimes that resolves this
Or IMHO the best long term solution is to set Apple Mail as the iPhoto e-mail client in the iPhoto preferences and use it - it has a number of advatages and has fewer problems

In the simplest sense, archiving a file means making a copy that you never change and never discard. You already know how to do that.
iPhoto has built-in archival features, in the sense that it saves all versions of an image that you've modified. As long as you have adequate backups, you don't necessarily have any reason to archive an iPhoto library. If you want to delete images from the working library but still have access to them in case you change your mind, then you do need to archive those images. I don't have a specific suggestion as to how you should do that. You might post a question in the iPhoto forum. -
