Go back to the iPad's homescreen so that the App Store isn't the app that is 'on-screen' i.e. click the home button (the button below the iPad's screen).
These instructions are for iOS 6, which shows in your first post - if your iPad is on the current iOS version, i.e. iOS 7 then these instructions won't apply, how you close apps in iOS 7 has changed.
Then double-click the home button, and along the bottom of the iPad's screen a 'taskbar' should appear with the icons of your recently used apps :
Then press and hold one of those icons for a second or two and they should start to shake and get a '-' symbol on their top corner - tap the one on the App Store's icon and the app will be closed and disappear off the taskbar (it doesn't delete the app from your iPad).
Then tap any part of the screen above the taskbar which should stop the apps that are showing on the taskbar from shaking and the taskbar should also close.
Then retry the App Store app and see if it works.

Looks like the Sim card had a catastrophic failure. Burnout, short somethng like that.
You can try to take out the tray and reseat the sim card inside and see if that gets it back.
Also try resetting the phone at least once by holding down the home and power buttons until the Apple Logo shows up.
If none of this works you'll have to contact your cell carrier to get a new sim card, as it probably fried and is no longer functional. -
i tried to restore my iphone but when it was restoring it said a problem occurred and now it just shows the itunes symbole and its telling me to connect to it but when i try to it doesnt show up on my computer

Try as much as you can. When it says to place in recovery mode use this program instead.

What is the default key command for THE COMMAND (apple) key? I seem to have changed it somehow along the way and now when I push the command key (only) it hides all open windows and shows the desk top and when I push it again it shows all windows again...I need to return to default A.S.A.P. just this one key...Any ideas? i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. This has already happened once and i had to take it to the store. What should I do to fix this? Thank you so much for all answers. i really appreciate.

I am trying to update my ipad 2 from iOS 4.3.5 to 6.1.3. 6 hours ago it said 49 hours and now says 53. I am making no progress. Please help. I am using wifi connection.
You have to connect the iPad to your computer to update.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I have a shuffle. When I plug it into Itunes, it tells me that it has not been ejected properly, and it will not recognize the Ipod. I have turned off the computer, and tried this with another shuffle with the exact same results. Any ideas?
Do you remeber the exact (or close to it) wording of the error message?
Try manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try to restore
Next try DFU mode.

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Sync account.
Your best bet is to follow the steps described in this blogposts and open a bug:

After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:

I deleted duplicate files with MacKeeper and now my firefox only shows text. I have reinstalled firefox, java, and checked all of my settings. Any ideas? Safari works fine.
I opened iCal back up, all the dates were blank, so i started to type events into a date.
As soon as I started to double click a date to type an event, magically all the events in all the months reappeared.
I'm still puzzled why it acted this way and if I did delete something that caused it to act this way. -
