First, I’m sorry to hear that you two may be having issues utilizing a recently purchased Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) Gifting Card.
In all reality, our stores don’t even need to exchange the Gifting Card for the standard GCU card, although that option should be available to you if absolutely needed. The GCU Gifting Card can be applied to your My Best Buy membership by simply following the directions on the back of the card.

I can not view ANY videos on Vimeo, I have 'reset' the Ipad, original IOS 5, cleared the history and cookies, I haves changed the DNs number to 8.8.8.8, I have worked on this for 3 days now, HELP!!!!
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

ok my iphone 3g touch screen is not responding, i can recieve calls and it can charge and connect to itunes, but i cannot go any further than using the home button or the power button, it is only the slide feature and touch feature that has become non existent. Also, i have a f'ew cracks in my screen for a while now and it was running smoothly up until saturday when i sat on it applying large amounts of pressure to the phone screen. Is there a way i can fix this myself without having to recover my phone to factory settings or wasting 50 bucks to get it fixed??

The instructions say "Go to Mail Preferences."
I cannot find any place called "Mail Preferences". I have tried looking under both "Mail" and "System Preferences" and there is nothing there entitled "Mail Preferences". Under "Preferences" there is no subheading as described in the iCloud instructions. Where is that "Mail Preferences" button located?Open Mail, go to the 'Mail' menu, select Preferences.

Cannot apply any color settings to RAWs from CompactFlash card
Usually we shoot tethered around here, but i had to shoot to card yesterday and was having no luck using Bridge and ACR to apply color settings to my files. I would open a .MOS file in ACR from Bridge and change its color balance and/or exposure, etc. and click DONE and nothing would happen in Bridge. It would make an XML file that sat alongside it in the folder, but Bridge would not recognize these changes. There preview and the thumb would stay the same, and i wouldn't get that little circle icon with the arrows in it next to the thumb in Bridge.
Changing preview types, thumbnail types, auto-exporting cache, purging cache from Tools menu, reapairing permissions, changing parent folder permissions, restarting my Mac, dump Bridge's preferences etc. nothing worked. i even tried the same images on a different Mac with CS3 and Bridge and got the same results. If i made a New Camera Raw Default, that WOULD work, but i could not make specific single-image changes.
BUT, somehow as i was pulling my hair out, i found a fix. Going to the Finder, i Got Info on the RAW file, went to the Open With popup, found Adobe Photoshop CS3 again (even though it was already highlighted), clicked ADD, and closed the Info window. Instantly that file's Thumbnail in Bridge got rebuilt and now my color changes would stick.
Every file that comes off these cards needs that done to it, but never when we shoot tethered to the computer. Weird. I'm not sure if it's specific to the Digital back or not.
This was using a Leaf Aptus 75S mounted to a Mamiya RZ67 shooting to SanDisk 4GB Compact Flash cards. I'm running a G5 tower using OSX 10.4.11, Bridge 2.1.1.9, and ACR 4.4.1.

I went in to use itunes today. It opened up right away, but I can't play any songs nor enter the store. It displays the message ' itunes has stopped working' and then closes. I tried removing itunes and reloading. Same thing. This is on my PC. My wife can still open itunes on her PC. Can anyone help?

I cannot plug it into iTunes and reload as my MacBook crashed a few days ago and I had to get a new hard drive. Recovery software is unable to retrieve anything from the hard drive.
All the songs were from CDs so not saved in iTunes.
The iPod was last plugged into the MacBook one day before it crashed and it was Ok when I ejected it.
Could it be anything to do with this? Doesn't an iPod have its own memory? Any ideas why it has happened and if their is anyway of retrieving it? Is it best to just take it into an apple shop? I am no longer covered with apple support.

I cannot sync my ipod classic with this computer. For some reason, my computer will not authorize my ipod. I seem to have 5 usernames, but I only want to use one I use my ipod 4 my job; this is extremely frustrating. the serial # has been scratched off my ipod, so when I called support, I couldn't read it to the automated service accurately. HELP!!!!!
It sounds like you have reached the authorization limit of 5 computers. So if you need to authorize another one, either deauthorize any other computers have authorized in the past that you still have physical access to or use the Deauthorize All option as described in this article.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:
