I don't want to commit to purchasing the Standard edition before trying out that specific edition, since it will have less features than the Pro edition. I have two cameras of the same model and want to separate out the photos taken on each one. Is this possible?

I have a Canon and my husband has a Canon, and they are the same model (mistake!)
I imported his photos into my library (I'm the keeper of the photos), and now I want to seperate out his photos from mine.
To make matters worse, the dates are the same (since we travel together) and the file numbers overlap (because the world is out to get us).
They are thoroughly intermingled, but I'm hoping there is a super geeky way to seperate them.
Ideas?

Try to separate the photos by "import session".
Assuming you can recognize some of the photos you took - perhaps there are some photos showing your husband and some photos showing you - these photos will tell you the import session. All photos you import into the library will be assigned an import session metadata tag, so his photos should have all the same import session tag.
To show this thag, set the Info panel in the Inspector to "Edit" and add it to your current Metadata view.
Once you found the Import Session for your husband's photos, create a smart album based on this meta data tag.
When I import my husband's photos in my library, I use a metadata preset on import, that will assign automatically a keyword, set his copyright, and adds a color code. So I can see at a glance, which photos are my photos and which are his.

No. A CDMA iPhone can only be used on the CDMA carrier it was originally sold for. IF the GSM side is unlocked, as in the case of the Verizon iPhone 5, it can be used on any compatible GSM carrier. It can not be used on a different CDMA carrier.

An connect to other Wireless Networks while roaming, but it may cost you 2x what you normally pay. if you use iPad internationally be prepared to pay a hefty fee. If a defect in a single device causes you decide that you will no longer purchase Apple products, that is certainly within your rights to decide. But I'd suggest you allow Apple to replace your iPhone, which again will be another black model, and see if that unit fares better. Then if that replacement iPhone has the same problem with the coating flaking off, you would have justification for asking Apple to replace the black iPhone with a white one.
By the way, we are all just fellow users here, so making blanket statements about Apple's overall product quality and threatening to stop buying Apple products really is of no help to anyone.

Earlier today I upgraded my Iphone 5 to IOS 7 and it asked me to set a passcode, which now works fine on my Phone. I tried using the OIS7 passcode I use on my Iphone 5 and it did not work and now my Ipad is disabled. Both devices are on icloud and share the same apple id. The Ipad screen says slide to set up but then there is a prompt for passcode, not for setting up passcode

I called Apple Support and a supervisor helped resolve this for me on my iPad. I suggest calling them for help as this is obviously an issue with the iOS 7 update - she helped me without charge. I could be missing something in my upcoming description, so do not take this as complete - call them.
I had to update iTunes on my Mac Air to the latest version, and I had an iCloud backup from the day I updated to iOS7. Have iTunes open but do NOT connect your iPad yet. Shut down the iPad. Then press/hold the Home key on the iPad while you connect the USB from the iPad to the computer (an image of the USB cable appeared on the iPad). Follow the prompts in iTunes to restore and then backup using iCloud. When the iPad rebooted again to do the backup install, I got the same pass code issue and iTunes would not recognize the iPad without entering a pass code. I disconnected the iPad, turned it off, pressed the Home key while connecting the USB cable. When I did the restore and backup from iCloud the second time, it worked without the pass code issue occurring.
