Hi can anyone help? I have an Iphone 4 which I tried to download ios7 to, but it says on screen, connect to itunes, which I have tried, but it says I need the original cd? I dont recall receiving one, so does this mean the phone has to be reset, if so how?

Do you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer as you will need it? It can be downloaded from the Apple site via the iTunes menu at the top of the screen.

Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows. He was so excited to finally get his first Ipod and now cant do anything with it...please help

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.

I would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.

Have you attempted an iTunes restore and setting up as a new device? Sometimes battery life issues can be caused by corrupted iOS software.

Apple removed blood glucose until further notice. The reason behind this is that it gave a distorted picture in countries where the medical world used other measuring units. I suspect it will be available again in a future update.

No badge alert on setting icon when the new ios update is released

Hi all,
I use iphone 5. I found that a badge is not shown on the setting icon when a new ios update is released. Only way letting me know that there is an update is manual check update, i.e. go to setting->general->software update. I think, normally, the badge should present automatically on the setting icon everytime the update is released. Does anyone find this problem? How to solve this?

I upgraded from an iPhone 4s to 5 recently. I had the Settings badge show up right after I got the phone, but after I got home and did a restore from backup to get my 4s stuff over to the 5, then no more badge notification.
I can't find any settings anywhere to help with this.
Anybody got any suggestions/thoughts/fixes/etc?
