I have several movies in the cloud on Flixster. I have a set of Apple audio cables with one white, red and yellow cables along with a USB cable. I can get the sound on the TV but on picture. What am I missing?

This is an alternative solution that works great for me. I always carry a small and lightweight DC to AC converter with me in my case when I'm on the road. It's a Wagan Tech Smart AC 100 USB that I picked up at Costco for under 20 bucks. 100 watt capability and allows me to use all my electronics and chargers on the road. I can use it to charge the cellphone, laptop, ipod, etc.
Even includes a USB port on the side for charging USB based products and also includes the aircraft adaptor (and of course a cigarette lighter adaptor) and everything fits into a small cloth bag (included).

P.S. I just noticed that you are from the U.K. I'm sure this will still work as your MacBook charger should autoswitch down to 110v input, you'll just need to make sure you have the North American plug installed. MacBookPro power adapter for UK and Europe

I am going to be spending a semester in the UK and was wondering where I could find a adapter for my power cable.

Apple sells a World Travel Adapter Kit for many countries, and a less expensive Kensington adapter kit. But you could also use any cheap UK plug adapter you find. You should make sure you have a grounded UK adapter as well as ungrounded.
You only need a plug adapter. You don't need a transformer, because the MacBook Pro power supply is compatible from 100V (USA) all the way to 240V (Europe). It should say "100-240V" in the tiny print on your power supply.

Hi Andreas,
I checked into this for you. Unfortunately, we do not provide any drivers for this adapter with the RD210/RD220. I can't say for certain that it won't work, just that Lenovo does not have drivers for the device for use with those servers.

GrabIt charger for iPad2 and iPhone

I am trying to purchase a back up car charger for my iPad2 and iPhone. While this may be the most acceptable explanation, and probably accurate one, it would be nice to hear one from Apple. While playing movies may be more computationally intensive than navigating through icons on your device, playing games with interaction may push the limits beyond usability. This I understand and appreciate.
While I'm a big proponent of forward development, I do agree maintaining backward compatibility at the expense of performance doesn't exactly equate to innovation. However, maintaining at least one release version, especially less than 1 year old, isn't exactly asking too much. Although we are all quite aware that purchasing new equipment is the convenient solution, you can't help having an audience with new technology and hardware purchased within the last year be somewhat disappointed. This would have been a nice feature. It is what it is.

File content conversion - sender adapter for Header and detail records

Hi Experts,
I am receiving a field of fixed length content format.(Header)The first line of the file will follow the structure X having some fields and (DetailRecord)subsequent lines in the file will follow structure Y having somes fields.There is no record identifier for Header and Detail records.In one file first line is Header records and remaining subsequent line is DetailRecord.What are the parameters we have to set for sender file content conversion parameters as i donot have any key field and key field value.And in one file we have only one header records ( first line) and n number of detail records from 2nd line onwards.

Unfortunately it doesn't go in details enough...
I'm trying to follow geometrixx-outdoors example to create my shoppingCart. I have a list of of products in /etc/commerce/products.... referenced by productPage in content.
But I don't know how to create custom CommerceProvider and Adapter to create proper Product objects - it always picks up geoProductImpl.
As I understand I need to specify cq:commerceProvider to myProvider and then I need to somehow register MyProvider so it gets picked up.
Also I guess I need to add MyProductAdapter somehow so when shoppingCart executes following it returns my implementation instead of geoProductImpl.
Product product = productResource.adaptTo(Product.class);
I'd really appreciate if anyone could share an example or point me in the right direction for a guide.

VGA adapter for touch and battery

I read that using VGA adapter with iPod Touch 4 apparently kills the battery in a very short time.
Anyone has experiences using VGA adapter with iPod?
I plan to use it for presentations, which usually take long time. If VGA really kills battery quickly I will stick to my laptop for presentations.

That is because of the DRM that is on the movie. VGA is good quality and can be copied.
You can either use a DIgital AV adopter since it can't be copied.

Or an adopter with less resolution than the VGA.
You can also display the movie on TV using the iPod and either the Apple iPod AV cable or the Universal Dock with an S-video and audio cable (see iPod: TV Out support for more information).

3rd-party AC adapter for Powerbook and Macbook?

Looking into buying an AC adapter to keep at a 3rd location I'm spending a lot of time at. My current Powerbook won't live forever, so I'll probably be getting a Macbook (Pro) in a future that's nearer and nearer, and thus it'd be great if I could feed a future laptop off the same adapter. There are lots of adapters to work with whole collections of laptops, but for now I haven't found a single one that comes with the connectors for both a Powerbook and a Macbook. Are these models that different in their power requirements?

Apple was very slow to license its proprietary MagSafe connector to other manufacturers, though it appears they've finally done so now. For the longest time, it was just impossible to find anyone selling third-party MagSafe adapters, and those who did were clearly buying Apple adapters at full price and cutting the plugs off them. It made their products exorbitantly expensive. That's no longer the case; you can find junk MagSafe adapters online now for less than $25. I wouldn't buy one, but you may want to consider that option.

Same power adapter for Macbook and Macbook Pro?

We have a new Macbook and Macbook Pro in the house and I was wondering if the power adapters were interchangeable. I noticed in the store there are two different adapters for sale, but the ones we have appear to be the same or similar. I feel almost certain we can use them with either computer.

The 85 W MBP adapter can be used with both, the MB will only draw what it needs. The lower wattage MB adapter will not simultaneously power the MBP and charge its battery, but it won't do any harm.

I have a leased Comcast modem at 7bucks a month,what is the best type of on the market modem I can replace thie modem with,I also have an airport express router and a hp envy 100 wi-fi printer -and an iPad 2 tablet,no other computer.

Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
Generally someone only has the choice of one or two broadband ISPs. If service from Comcast is reliable, I'd go with them if they can supply you with a "dumb" (i.e., no router functionality) modem. That should make setup of an AirPort Extreme very simple.
Reliability is the most important thing. In theory you only need configure things once, but you're dependent on reliability every day.
By the way, is there a reason you posted your message in the section for "AirPort for Windows"?

You shoul create a while loop, that loops through XML payload for each row. Than you can process each individual row. See also example:
C:\orabpel\samples\tutorials\112.Arrays\ArraySample.bpel

Keynote when I took good care to await the announcement of Siri for the new operating system of the iPad. And I was delighted to learn that iOS 6 would integrate Siri.
My joy was short-lived, because after installing iOS 6, siri missing a call. Is this an oversight or a new way to make me regret you for buying an iPad 2?

Siri will not be supported on the iPad 2. I have an iPad 2 as well, and wish it would be supported but it's not to be.
Here is the compatibility list from Apple's iOS page (in the footnotes as item 2):
Siri is available on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad (3rd generation), and iPod touch (5th generation) and requires Internet access. Cellular data charges may apply.

Airplay mirroring for iPad2 and iPhone 4s
