HT4363 I have 2 iMacs with the home share activated using the same account ID and password, but only 1 computer at a time will show up on the main Apple TV "computers" menu. Can I have more than 1 computer sharing?

Will ALL computer's home sharing show up on the "computer's" main menu on the Apple TV screen, and if so, can I switch between computers while they are using the "home share" feature?

This should not be a problem, I have a mix of Apple & PC libraries on the ATV.
Looks like you have another issue going on there, perhaps one of your computers is going to sleep or something.

No more than five computers can be authorized at any given time. Computers can be individually deauthorized by using the Deauthorize Computer function; once a year, you can deauthorize all the computers without needing access to them.

You would make address lables with the Contacts app.
If you don't have the user name and password used to set up the machine then you need to purchase the apps for yourself.

If you have been using your phone as recommended, you should have minimal data loss from the inability to restore from a backup.
Contacts and calendars should be synched to a computer application like Outlook or Address Book (or a cloud service like Google Contacts or iCloud). The update process does NOT affect these computer applications so your contacts and calendars should be safe and sound in the application ready for synching back to your phone.
Same for photos. It is recommended that photos be imported to your computer as soon as possible after taking them (just as you would import them from any other camera) for storage, archival and safekeeping. Again, your photos should be safe and sound on your computer.
If you've not been using your computer as recommended, you've learned a very hard lesson, I'm afraid.

Activation Lock cannot be bypassed, you will have to recover the email and password used to activate it.

I have an answer to my question. There is a bug in IOS8 that prevents third party applications to talk to the Health Application. Apple is trying to fix it ASAP

Can setting up the home share library effect your itunes account

My dad just set up home share on our desk top mac. Later the same afternoon, my itunes library on my mac got wiped out. I can't figure out if there is a connection between the two events or not.

Both libraries would need to have been setup to use home sharing with the same Apple ID in order for that to work.

Hello.I have installed windows 7 home premium on my macbook pro mostly for playing games.But there is a problem.Whenever I launch a game, the screen just zooms in one part and I cannot see the whole screen.Therefore,I cannot play.Help please !

I tried to re-install games as well, restart my macbook but it did not work.I want to add that even before using bootcamp, the same thing happened to the screen.So, I do not think that there is a problem with windows 7.

Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap the new ID and sign out. Then sign in with the old ID. You can do the reverse to get back to your new ID.

If it says "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons", then you will just need to change you password by following these steps: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2446
If it does not says "...for security reasons" you will have to contact the iTunes Store to have your account 'un-disabled' http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

I bought my ipad from Malaysia and now i live in sri lanka .i have problem with my ipad's location services because it isn't functioning properly but during my stay in Malaysia it showed my location but now it doesn't. how to solve this?

It seems like you are using a Wi-Fi model. For location services to work, you would need to be connected to the internet.

The updated Pages App. Documents sync between ipad and iphone, but only open on ipad. When I try to open docs on iphone, a message comes up saying "Cannot open document."

My iPad 2 and my iPhone 4S automatically updated my Pages App, which I used all the time. It did sync all my documents between the two devices but it will not allow me to open docs on iPhone, only on iPad.
That's never happened before. I am just now updating my phone (4S) to iOS 7.0.3. Maybe that will do the trick?

Thanks very much for the instructions. I encountered this problem this morning myself and the recommendation fixed the problem immediately. When things like this happen with iCloud and Pages it makes me wonder if I might be better off using something else, having just recently had to fix the problem that the current Pages can't read documents I created with a much earlier version until they were "upgraded" by an interim version.
