I'm planning to purchase an Ipad in the next week or so. I'm trying to find out if I can use the Ipad to connect to HBOGO or Showtime or Netflix to watch videos from these services. Additionally I would like to know if I can output these videos from the Ipad to another monitor such as a Samsung Smart TV?

1) yes, if you have a cable subscription to those services.
2) no, the apps don't allow video out.

Thank you for that, I wanted to make sure I was trying to replicate the same thing as you. Just tried it now, works fine for me.
Of note though, this will take a relatively well performing network to achieve this, I have such a network, if your network is not as good as it might be, you might encounter problems.
For the avoidance of doubt, I used the remote app on my phone to get my iTunes library on my computer to stream music to 3 of my Apple TVs, I then used the remote app to control another Apple TV and get it to stream a music video from my computer to it. Of interest I managed to do this while my wife was using yet another Apple TV (not with the remote app) to watch something else from iTunes on my computer.

I Know flash lite 4 also not access the mobile camera. But, I need to develop a application it captures the mobile camera and stream the vedio to fms server and display the live event to other mobile users.

i have made a few test with Flash Lite 3.0 and Flash Media Server 3 and I have to say that it is pretty easy to stream FLV Video files and Live Video from local web camera to mobile phone. Here are a quick instructions how to do it in Windows (I will publish Linux version later).
Play FLV-video from Flash Media Server 3:
Install Flash Media Server 3 (download developer version)
There are a few sample FLV files in applications/vod/media folder, so you can use one of them for testing
Create a new Flash Lite 3.0 file in Flash
Add a new Video symbol to library
Drag this Video symbol to Stage and give instance name to it: video
Type following programming to timeline:

var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
// check connection status from server

Hello, it seems that you can mirror your Mac desktop on your Apple TV if you have a very recent Mac and OSX Mountain Lion. The other alternative is the very efficient third party software called Air Parrot (http://airparrot.com/)
I've just started using it with my Mabook pro Mid 2010 running on Mountain Lion. It works perfectly well and only costs 10$... Hope it can help

I purchased both the apple tv and VGA connections for my iPad so I can mirror/project this image onto my television. When I purchased both of these items from the store, I was told it would support this feature. I can't stream video or audio from my Macbook Pro or iPad to Apple TV. It used to work but I haven't used Apple TV with my iPad or Macbook for several months. Software for the Macbook Pro, Apple TV and iPad is current and all 3 devices are logged onto the same WiFi. Home Sharing is enabled. All 3 devices are logged into iTunes with the same Apple ID. Airplay does not appear in Control Center on my iPad and I do not get the Airplay symbol on the computer or iPad when using iTunes or any other app. I tried restarting the Apple TV and even restoring factory defaults. What am I missing?

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Canon says that your printer is too basic to have AirPrint.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. I don't know where you originally posted this question, but it's only just appeared in the Using iPad forum.
If you can't remember your password then you can reset it via http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't get it reset via that site then you will have to contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset it for you (they can also reset your security questions if you've forgotten their answers).

The mini-Displayport is for output only — you can't feed a signal into it. I suppose there's a chance that this ability may become available through the Thunderbolt port in the 2011 and later models, but we'll have to wait and see.

I tried to download video from RCA Small Wonder EZ201 to my new macbook pro. Macbook pro recognizes the device but then message appears that device was improperly ejected when it is still connected. How can I download these videos?

When I connect the RCA Small Wonder to my MacBook Pro, the device is recognized in finder as EZ201. I tried to copy the video files in the folder but within a minute or two, I receive a message that the disk was ejected improperly, even though the device is still connected. I was able to download the first few videos before it stopped working and was able to play them using Perian. However, when I tried to connect the device again, it froze my system and I had to force a shut down by turning the computer off. Why is the device initially recongized but then shows as improperly ejected when it is still connected? How can I download the videos if the MacBook Pro won't allow the device to stay connected?

This is the one that has the files for the backups procured by the Time Machine program. But it can't "connect"-- You 'll see int he sideways pic (sorry!) that the options STILL says "connecting"
