I followed the instructions, the account is authorized, I can see the tracks from my iMac on my MacBook, and I can play the songs, search the songs, etc...
But once the songs are selected, there is no "Import" button at the bottom right of iTunes.
What do I do from here, in order to transfer tracks from iMac to MacBook?

Do you see "Home Sharing" on both your iMac and MacBook? Is Home Sharing all set up? Have you gone through each one of the ten steps in the "Home Sharing" section of the article you attched? Are you looking for the "Import" button on your MacBook?

You do not have to have an Apple TV, but you should have an AirPlay capable speaker on your network.

My calendar isn't working on my iPad. I can't add any event. Someone said there is a "plus" button in the lower right corner and I have none.

Was able to fix it. Just enable iCloud via your settings on your ipad. For some reason that allows Calendar to work properly. Just another way Apple is trying to make you use ALL of their products, rather than just one...

Your Firefox settings and info are kept in a folder separate from the Firefox program, called your profile folder. Try creating a test profile, to see if the problem still occurs. See [[Managing profiles]]

I am having problems with my itunes, when plugging my iphone or ipod to the laptop - i can see iphone/ipod in the top right corner of itunes but when i click this to the see what is on theis iphone/ipod the option is no longer there, this was working

BUT when i click on the shown iphone/ipod the icon its no longer there, i was useing this fine yesterday and it was showing yesterday what is on this ipod and would allow me to add/remove music, but now this option is no longer availlable - i have added a couple of albums to my itunes i can listen to the music from the laptop but cannot sync the ipods to trancefer these albums to the handheld devices -

You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

Unable to view Device button in the upper-right corner

When I connect my iphone to my laptop to sync the data from Itunes I am not able to view the Device button in the upper right corner of iTunes. Can you please help as to how to go about this.

Install or Reinstall OS X from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. You can try trashing the preference file. Then kill the NotificationCenter.app.
The preference file is stored inside your Library folder. This is the complete path+preference file's name
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist
To kill the NotificationCenter.app, open Activity Monitor. Using the search box, type noti. You'll see the Notification center listed below. Select the line and click on the kill button
Force Quit, when asked. Notification Center reopens automatically.
Check.

If they have 'open' next to them then that implies that they are already on your iPad - if you tap on the 'open' button does that open the app ? If it does then they are on your iPad. You've checked all your homescreens and tried a soft-reset to see if they show after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Why do the minimize, maximize, & close buttons in the top right corner disappear (turn to a black void) unless FF is maximized?

I am running Windows 7 on my new laptop. When I bought it back in August, I installed Firefox version 5 (I think) Now that I have updated to version 6, the minimize, maximize, & close buttons in the top right corner disappear when the window is not maximized. You can also check if the issue occurs in
Clean Boot. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
Besides, uninstall it and re-download
a fresh copy of FireFox to check the result. If the issue still exists, create a new user account to see if it occurs.
If the issue persists, you can contact Mozilla Support directly and use Internet Explorer (IE) during the time.

Where's the secure HTTP connection symbol? It used to be at the bottom right corner whenever there was a secure website connection

Whenever I made connection with a secure website, the HTTPS secure symbol would show up at the bottom right corner, indicating how strong the https connection was. Sometimes it would be a solid symbol; other times when the website wasn't as secure, it would show up with a line through it. Simple question, but I don't see it anymore and it is helpful to know how strong the security is on certain websites.

In Firefox 4 you no longer have the Status bar that showed the padlock in previous Firefox versions.
You can click the "Site Identity Button" on the left end of the location bar to see the padlock.<br />

A click on the "More Information" button will show details about the connection.<br />
The background color of the "Site Identity Button" on the left end of the location bar will change color (blue or green) and show the domain in case of a secure https connection.

I get a weird little blue line in the bottom right corner of my lightbox gallery when viewing in Safari and Chrome. Its not there when looking in Dreamweaver or Firefox. I'm going crazy! Can anyone help?

That fixes the dash, which is an underline. The default style for a link is an underline and since it was not defined the tag gets the default style for the underline.
