Plug the iPhone into the computer it normally syncs with and restore all of the media and data from there.
If you have never backed up the device, all of the data is gone.

help! my iphone was recently stolen before i had chance to sync it or back it up to icloud i purchased an album, how can i get that album in my itunes to listen to. I can search for the album an it just comes up purchased but i cant listen to it
If you bought it from the iTunes Store, click here and follow the instructions; the process of iTunes Store content being put in the iCloud is automatic.
If you got it from another source, reload it from that source.

I'm trying to put movies onto my hard drive but i can't put the files with the same name onto the hard drive , finder won't let me change the name. What am i doing wrong?
Make a new folder and put them in that different folder. Then the names can be the same as others already on your drive.

i was trying to add music onto my new ipod, and my itunes said it needs version 10.6.3. i then downloaded it, then it said it requires mac os x version 10.6.8. what does that mean?
If it's a fourth generation or earlier model, you need to download iTunes 10.6.3; the newer versions won't run on 10.5.8.
If it's a fifth generation iPod touch, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac, and then run Software Update. This also works with earlier iPods but isn't the best solution.

I have used PCs for years, and still do at work. But, last year my wife bought me a 15" MBP with the anti-glare screen (I was getting ready to buy for myself). It took me all of 1 week to completely get used to the UI for OS-X, and now I really prefer it over the Win7 UI. I have no experience with Win8. Here are my thoughts:
1) You can get a good computer using either a Win8 machine or a Mac.
2) You will pay less for an equivalent PC. But not as much less as some would have you believe. You need to take into account the all aluminum body of the Mac (vs most PCs being plastic) and the size of the display. And, don't forget that there is a lot of bundled SW on the Mac that you will actually find useful and would have to purchase for the PC.
3) You can probably do everything you need on the PC platform with the right SW (you probably already know this since you are using one already).
That said, I think some things are easier on the Mac. For example, GarageBand is a standard part of the Mac SW installation. I got up and running recording directly from my bass into a track with a song imported from iTunes on another track in a snap. I only had to purchase a Jam adapter ($99) for the bass so I could come in over USB instead of using the audio in port (which did work, by the way). You can do the same on a PC, but you have to purchase the SW from somewhere. And, it probably isn't cheap.
I use VMware Fusion to run those Win programs I already owned because it was much less expensive to buy Fusion than to replace them.
I would not return to a PC for my own use, given a choice. But, I would be very careful about getting my wife a Mac without careful thought as she is not as tolerant of learning new things as I am.

Hi all,I have just purchased new iphone but have difficulty in completing the itunes download with message : problem with Windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.

Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

While trying to download music on my new iPhone it says I can't for 90 days.
I have my own and only spple ID associated with my windows laptop, iPod touch, and recently purchased iPad and pre owned iPhone.
I was able to download my music with my Apple ID on my brand new iPad but I recently bought an iPhone 5s from someone else, not at a store.
The first thing that I did was restore it through iTunes, and set up as new device. I tried to download past purchases on the iPhone but it says "This device is already associated with an Apple ID. If you turn on automatic downloads with your Apple ID, you cannot auto download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days"
What does that mean? It gave me an option to cancel and transfer. I hit transfer and it downloaded the song I wanted to download. Is that going to affect my purchases in any way?
As I mentioned, I have no problems on the iPod touch and iPad but with this pre owned iPhone it showed me that message.
Now it's letting me download everyday song I want after I hit transfer.
I've tried to do a research on this but I just can't understand what this mean and if there will be any consequences. I hope someone can explain what's going on, thanks!That's what 'transfer' meant?

Found an old back up file for my old iphone that got stolen. how do i put this onto my new iphone?
Hi i was wondering if someone could help me out here, ive just found an old back up file on my old laptop for my old iphone and want to install it onto my new iphone to retreive the data. could someone please tell me how i move the file into itunes and onto my new iphone? the file is iPhone1,2_4.0_8A293_Restore and I am running windows 7.

Yep, you lose all interactivity when publishing to video.
Udemy, Lynda.com, Total Training and other similar models are based on simple "watch the video to learn" type of consumption. The only real interactivity you get is an ability to pause, rewind, fast forward. Basically anything you can do with a video.

CD icon does not appear on desktop
