Updated my phone 7ios can't close open apps at bottom of screen its causing my phone to drain battery
Don't quite understand what you're asking but I think you mean the apps running in the background?. If thats the case do this:
- double tap the home button
- swipe the app up you wish to close

Also a new feature in iOS 7 called "Background App Refresh" can use a bit of battery life so it wouldn't hurt to also turn this off. You can do this by going to settings>general>background app refresh.

How to get Apps from my ipod to my new Iphone
Hello Altogether,
as already mentioned in the headline, I am proudly possessing a new iphone since last week.
I also have an ipod touch for which I bought some games over the last month. Now of course, I want to bring those games to my new iphone!
How can I do this? I am not willing to pay for the games a second time of course.

Many thanks!All 3rd party apps on your iPod Touch should be available in your iTunes library on your computer and would be if you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences with iTunes which should be selected. With this selected, after downloading an app with your iPod Touch, the app would be copied to your iTunes library the first time you sync your iPod Touch with iTunes after doing so. This also allows for downloading and installing an app on your iPod Touch with iTunes on your computer and removing an app from your iPod Touch by deselecting the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync without deleting the app permanently. If you want to re-install the app again later, reselect the app under the Apps tab followed by a sync to re-install the app on your iPod Touch.
The very same applies to the iPhone.
Since you apparently don't have this selected under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences, with your iPod Touch connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPod Touch. After confirming all apps were copied to your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences making sure all apps currently installed on your iPod Touch are selected below.
After all your apps are in your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences, select the apps below you want installed on your iPhone followed by a sync.
BTW, you can re-download an app with iTunes on your computer or on your iPod Touch or iPhone and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally. -

I updated to the new iOS6 last night and I can't get the WiFi to connect. I've read today Steve Streza, lead platform developer for Pocket.com, a San Francisco app vendor, outlined the issues. "Your phone checks a page on http://Apple.com to see if your network is working. If not, you're probably on a network like a hotel/airport, where you have to agree to their terms before you can use the Wi-Fi. Then they show you the page so you can agree."

If the update does not apply to my phone then they shouldn't offer the update. It causes too many problems.
I want my WiFi back. This is costing me a fortune and I think apple needs to cover these costs!The songs I'm trying to reload on my phone are on my PC. These we had loaded into iTunes. I can remove them all from the library and then add them all back one by one I imagine. The problem I'm having is that I removed them manually from the phone, they still appear in iTunes music library yet they won't sync. I don't want to take the time to compare the phone to my library, remove from the library what's missing on the phone and then add them all back again. 64GB (mostly music) will take a while.

I tried everything it says from the web from pressing the hold button 2 times and bottom shows the apps but cannot get the minus sign or get them to wiggle like people say anyone know how to close apps like this. mINE DOES NOT WORK SUPPOSE TO GET A MINUS SIGN OR HOLD TO WIGGLE NO LUCK.
