HT4623 I have a iphone 3G and tried to update whatsapp but says need version 4.3 and my phone has 4.2.1 and says all updates are up to date under my settings it does not have update option

I have iphoe 3g and seem to need update 4.3 but cant seem to get it as after downloading update it is at 4.2.1 and says it is up to date but whatsapp says I need 4.3 any ideas

4.2.1 is the end of the line for the 3G. It was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You will need to buy a new phone if you want to use that app (and many others) if you don't already have an older version saved in your iTunes library.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to follow the second part of that article and update via your computer's iTunes.

If it's a first gen iPad then it should be update to iOS 5.1.1, if it's an iPad 2 (or 3) then it will update to iOS 6 (so you will lose the built-in YouTube app and the Maps app will change).

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

I am really struggling to update my iphone software. I believe that I am currently on version 4.2.1 and would like to update yet my general settings menu does not offer a software update option.

Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...

The update to iOS 5 is a lengthy process. Your entire device is being backed up, then wiped, then the new OS is installed, then your apps, etc., rebuilt on the device. If you have a lot apps, etc., on your device it will take a long time to update.

What more is there to say? I was given an address to use in a project I am working on. It does NOT include www in the address. Every time I try to get to the site, I enter the address and firefox inserts www into the address and if I click on it, I am informed that firefox can't located the site try again, maybe I misspellled it, etc. Since I copied it directly from the e-mail I was sent AND I have gone to that site using the link provided in the e-mail I KNOW I can get there and it would seem that the site exists.

All google email sites reload every 7 seconds continuously. google does not have or won't tell an answer. Yahoo email does not do it. This problem just started without any computer changes.

If I can open five or six letters, sometimes the problem eases off after 20 minutes or so.

I would suggest running the network via a pc for the day.. pick either your Mac or win7 pc.. you will need to do a bit of fiddling.. even better would be to just borrow a router. Or buy one on a 7day return .. !! Beg borrow.. don't steal. Just get a router other than TC. it won't take long to determine if the TC is the issue.
IMO at 18months you are suffering failure of the TC power supply. early days but it is showing signs of delinquency. And will get worse. But another router will show it up.. if the PC has dual ethernet cards you can run ICS.. or same sort of thing on the imac to the wireless .. ie the PC or Mac becomes the router with direct connection to the cable modem. Then share internet from there.
Once you do that for a day or two, you will quickly be able to track down if the issue is cable service/modem or the TC as router.

I cannot send a Pages document, Word format via email from my ipad if it has a picture in the the doc. I can send a Word doc if it does not have a pic in it or pdf with a pic. Any thoughs why a word doc with a pic in it won't email in Pages? thanks

I cannot send a Pages document, Word via email if the doc contains a picture. If I email a Pages doc without a pic in Word format or pdf with a pic it with go through to sender? Not sure why Pages won't send Word doc with a picture in it. I check the security on the email recipient and the email doesn't get blocked or throw in the junk box?

If you have upgraded to Mountain Lion, Save As… has returned to the File menu when you hold down the Option/alt key. But you don't really "save" as other file types, you translate & export as Word or RTF or text or PDF & that is easily done by going to File > Export or Share > Export.
Also, please do us all a favor & don't use all capitals in your posts, either the body of the post or the title. All caps is the internet equivalent of shouting & is very hard to read.

OK, so what you need to do is when you hook up your phone to the Mac, and open iTunes, click on the iPhone that shows under Devices in iTunes (left-hand column). Then you will see a Summary page displayed with the iPhone information.
You will also see several "tabs" with various types of sync options - Music, Photos, Books, etc.
Click on the Photos tab and you will see a box that says Sync Photos. If you uncheck this, then nothing will sync back to the phone. You can also check it, but then selectively pick which photo albums or events you want to sync.
Also, if you have iCloud and photo stream turned on, you will continue to see any photos in your photo stream, regardless of whether you have sync'd them to your Mac or not.

The Bluetooth drivers are included in the full retail install DVD,
they have been in every Mac OS X that supported BlueTooth...
Could it be there is a hardware issue in that MacBook?
Have you looked into Help in the computer to see if an
instructions page can help troubleshoot lack of BT in it?

There are very few download drivers for these.
In fact, there are only update versions for use
with certain products, if there are issues. This

Report Painter, GL Set does not have description

Hi Expert,
I want to create Columnar Financial Statement (Profit and Loss Account, and Balance Sheet).
My problem is that my GL under the lead column does not have any GL description shown.
I tried some of the settings for lead column under formatting -> report layout, but does not work.
I use library: 0FL.
My Questions:
1) What table should I use for the GL set creation? I tried the followings already:
FAGLFLEXT-RACCT
GLT0-RACCT
GLFUNCT-RACCT
all not working.
My report lead column are as follows:
7000000 0007000000
7000000 is GL
0007000000 seems like "description of GL 7000000".
Does anyone have any idea of this?

As in GL set, we can fill in a range of GL, say from GL 7000000 to GL 7100000, then in this case, I can't fill in the GL description, as they are in a range.
