I am trying to finish the new download for my iphone 5 and it is stuck on agree and disagree on terms. it will not move forward. What do i do?

Activation Lock in iOS 7

1) Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

2) If necessary Place the Device into Recovery mode...

Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Once you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most Recent Backup...

this did not help me. Agree/disagree/turn off/turn on/ try again. Nothing gets it off the initial Icloud terms and privacy policy agree/disagree page. The phone is really of limited usefulness, being stuck on that page.

I now have a brick for a phone. Just tried to update to 7.1.1 using iTunes and it wipred out the operating system OK but now will not communicate with iTunes or the laptop. I reloaded iTunes and still no luck. If I press and hold the power and home buttons it inly comes up to the same screen showing the lightning cable pointing to iTunes logo. How can I get this running again? Even a factory reset to start would help if possible then I can do a restore. Right now it is worthless.Hello HarbourStables,

My phone is not recieving calls but I still get notifications when I get a text message. It also will not turn off and is on my settings app and can still be used as normal.

The update to iOS 7 is frozen at the Terms and Conditions page and will not move, no matter what I click on. I cannot access my iPad as it is frozen on this screen. How do I remedy this nightmare?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try updating the software again.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Suport recommended Backing up the IPad and then erasing it. Support article said that the Restore would update the IPad to the latest software which in this case is IOS 7. That did not happen. After an hour, the Ipad ended up with IOS 5.1.1 again. How can I update the software to 6.0 minumum?

I was at my office yesterday and signed in on the local exchange.
Today I am at ome, tried to log in and it is wanting password from the other exchange where I was at yesterday. I do not have password with me. I need to access some things. I cannot even access settings. How do I reset so I can access my iPad and accounts?OK....Reboot your iPad. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for about 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. Once it comes back up, see if you can connect to your home wifi and if you can, all should be good.
