  • HT5029 Reconfiguring existing subscribed calendars to push with iCloud

I am not able to complete "Reconfiguring existing subscribed calendars to push with iCloud" using the directions given. The location, neither On My Mac, nor iCloud show up when I try to reconfigure (as shown in instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5029).  When I choose Get Info from my birthday subscription calendar, I can only "Ignore Alerts" or "Open Address Book."
I want to be able to see my birthday calendar items on iCloud.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Many thanks, Cheryl

    Greetings Cheryl,
The Birthday calendar in iCal s not a server based subscription which is what that article you reference deals with.  The Birthday calendar feeds directly from the contents of the Address Book on your Mac.
To have your birthdays in iCloud:
Go to Apple > System Preferences > iCloud -- Make sure "Contacts" (aka Address Book) is checked.
    Then follow this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2676
    Hope that helps.

  • ICal and Address book data not pushed from iCloud to 10.6 Snow Leopard

    Hello,
When I signed up to iCould, it said it will automatially push all data to my devices.
However, the data I entered in contacts and calendar of my iPhone 4, does not appear in the Address Book and iCal of my MacBook Air with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
Nether address book nor iCal gives the possibility to choose this type of syncing in preferences (there's only mobile me account mentioned there, to which I cannot sign up anymore).
I checked in my icoud.com - i can see my new iCal data from iPhone there, but the address book is exaclty the same as in my MacBook Air. In other words, my new contacts are neither pushed from my iPhoe to iCloud (though I did choose this option in my iPhone), nor from icould to my Mac Book Air.
Moreover, iTunes no longer syncs neither my Adreess Book nor iCal data manually since I've signed up for icoud. It says I do not need to sync via iTunes, as now all this data will be pushed from iCloud (which isn't happening). Even though I try to do it manually, the new data on iPhone simply does not show up in my Mac Book Air after the syncing is finished.
Can someone please help me deal with this problem. Or maybe you know how to get to good old times, when I could sync everything manually?
Would be very grateful for any advise.
    Ramunas
p.s. notes seem to be working ok

I read an article in Apple Support not long ago about some features in iCloud that were usable in Snow Leopard, but I can't find it right now. I believe some syncing to iCloud from iTunes.
    Possible update to SL coming.

  • IPhone calendar not syn in icloud

When I input new event from my iphone and ipad, the new event don't syn to iCloud!!!

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • Macbook pro calendar not syncing (via iCloud) with iPhone 4s

After looking through a few discussions I see some users having issues in syncing their calendars (from their computer) on to their iphone.
I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and this seems to be the key issue.
I was showed from an Apple genius that when syncing via icloud (and to avoid duplicate calendar entries) is to uncheck sync, contacts and calendars.
Which I have and I do have icloud "ON" in my phone. But whenever I update my calendar entries on my Apple laptop it no longer syncs to the iphone.
Would anyone have any leads as to why it's no longer syncing? I'm pretty good at troubleshooting but I'm at a loss with this one.
    thanks in advance    Aimee

  • Mail, Contacts, Calendar not available on iCloud Control Panel on my Win 7 PC for Outlook sync

I have loaded iCloud Control Panel 4.0 on my PC (Win 7 64)
The iCloud Drive, photos & Bookmarks is available to be switched on/off but Mail, Contacts, Calendar etc not available. Instead just a message on top that says you can access Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Reminders at iCloud.com.
How do I setup iCloud so that the Calendar & Contacts on my OUTLOOK 2010 are synced with my iPhone &iPad?

    Hey RuiEVG,
Thanks for the question. The following resource outlines troubleshooting information for using iCloud contacts on a Windows PC. It may be that your version of Outlook is not supported:

  • IPhone Calendar not syncing to iCloud

I am running 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5c and when I add an event or appointment on my calendar, it does not sync with iCloud. When I add an appointment from icloud.com or from Outlook on my computer, it works and will sync to my phone. Just not when I add an appointment from iPhone.
    Help please?
    Thanks.

    Howdy jandally,
It sounds like you are adding events to your iPhone 5c calendar, but they do not sync up to iCloud, but adding them to iCloud.com does sync to the phone. I would use the iOS troubleshooting section of the following article to help you get that going again, named:

  • IPad calendar not syncing to iCloud or iPhone

Recently, my iPad calendar stopped syncing with iCloud on my PC and my iPhone.  I can sync from my iPhone to my iPad and iCloud and I can sync from iCloud to my iPad and iPhone... Just not from my iPad.    Notes from my iPad sync fine to my iPhone and iCloud.  I have all calendar setting set on "Home" calendar.  I am at a loss to fix this nagging problem.  What is the fix?  Your help will be appreciated.   Gary

Are you sure that you have the iCloud control panel downloaded and installed?
You should also check the iCloud add in. Click the File menu. Then click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window. Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window. Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" make sure "iTunes Outlook add-in" and "iCloud Outlook Add-in" are selected.
To add enable the add-ins, in the Manage box at the bottom of the Outlook Options window, select COM Add-Ins, and then click Go. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, navigate to the iCloud add in and and you should be able to enable them.

  • Calendar not syncing via iCloud

I'm have sync issues with iCloud:
I have multiple calendars on my desktop app. This is where I keep track of all my dates. I have activated all the proper settings (as far as I can tell) for syncing across all devices. (iMac, iPhone, iPad) All devices are up to date. I checked the settings via iTunes on the iPhone and it declares I am set up for iCloud syncing. Same with iPad. I check the settings on the devics themselves and all iCloud syncing is activated.
If I go to the desktop version and display the calendars on the left bar I see three groupings. First is headed "iCloud" and it is all the calendars I created. Second group is ALSO headed "iCloud" and it contains four generic calendars plus the one from the first group that is being synced to all devices. The third group is "Other" with US Holidays and Birthdays; also which I did not create. Only that one calendar which shows up in the first two groups--and does actually sync to my mobiles--had the broadcast icon alongside it; that one and the "Birthdays" calendar have it. So why are these the only calendars with that logo (presumably denoting iCloud broadcasting/sharing)? Obviously I didn't set that one calendar to sync. According to my devices my calendars are in sync.
    This has me flummoxed.

  • IPhone 5 calendar not syncing with iCloud

When I look for Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar I do not have a "Default Calendar" option.
I have also noticed the iPhone calendar only has one of my four calendars on my iCloud account and will not let me add the others.
It is not even receiving pushed alerts as it did a few months ago.
Having no problems with iPad -- just iPhone 5.

    Hello, John!
I see that you are not having and issue with the syncing between your computer and iCloud.  So we would need to look into the device settings to make sure all settings mirror what is set in the iCloud Control Panel.  I have included a couple articles that will assist you in troubleshooting your iPhone 5.  See the sections in the articles below referring to your iOS devices.

  • Contacts and Calendar not Pushing

After doing a restore and update to 2.1 my contacts and calendar data are no longer in my phone. I have set the push switches for the email address to one (email works fine). I have changed the push settings on the iPhone to manual, then 15. I have gone back to the email account and cancelled sync and restarted it. The data is just not downloading from the cloud.
Any other ideas on how to encourage this to happen?
    Thanks

Looking into this further, I found that my email address in my iPhone had a double @me.com. The address was [email protected]@me.com. The second @me.com did not show until I deleted the address and tried to type it in again. Then immediately the @me.com would appear after what I was typing but before the @me.com.
I deleted the account and created a new one, and everything works for now.

  • Why after IOS6 Ipad calendar not syncing with Icloud?

After I upgrade Iphone and Ipad to IOS6, my Ipad calendar doesn't sync with ICloud using exactly same Apple ID. Any sugestions?

    1. Fire up your Mac and connect the iPad.
    2. Open iTunes and confirm that you are NOT syncing via the cable. Change settings as appropriate. When finished, disconnect the iPad and power it down.
    3. Open iCal on the Mac and confirm that the events are correct. Add/delete events as appropriate. Quit from iCal.
    4. Open System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync
    5. Click on "Advanced" and then click on your Mac when it shows up.
    6. Click on "Reset Sync Data"
    7. At the top, Replace: Calendars
    8. Click the right-pointing arrow so that the complete text states: "Replace Calendars on MobileMe with sync info from this computer."
    9. Click "Replace"
    10. You've confirmed that your Mac and MobileMe are set up properly. Now the iPad. Fire up the iPad and go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    11. REMOVE Calendar syncing from the account that's identified by your email address.
    12. Follow the instructions below.

  • Calendar not shown in iCloud

After deleting my earlier calendars because of error #403, I have arranged two new calendars on my machine. One of them, "private" is being displayed in iCloud while the other is not accepted for unknown reasons. I try to add accounts to my calendar, but they are not accepted without any indication why. The outcome is that one of the new calendars is reflected and updated in iCloud and the other not.
Does someone have a good idea where I need to do what? I have been using Calendar since its first appearance. After installing Yosemite, Calendar has become a mystery.

Subscribed calendars do not display in the iCloud website. They will be synced to other devices (actually it seems to be the settings which are synced, and the other device then subscribes). There may be a technical reason why the online calendar can't subscribe to other calendars.

  • Calendar not linking to iCloud

My documents from my iPad show up in iCloud, but my calendar does not. Why? I am used to Google and android where this process is seamless. Please help!

I had it set this way from the start. Someone even suggested to me that my son's iPhone may supersede my iPad, so I double checked that and it was set to flow to iCloud also. The calendars that I am linking are all fed from Google calendars. Do they not feed over maybe? I just know that NOTHING is in the iCloud calendar.
