How do I do it

You have to restore the device using iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings.
You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

Which generation Nano and what software are you referring to? There are no downloadable apps on a Nano.

Hi, I recently purchased a new Macbook. My last one had the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Photoshop installed on it that I purchased and recently failed on me. I moved to a new state for graduate school and left many of my things back home, including the Photoshop CS5 disc. I have the serial code on me, but I need to install the program again, and fast. How can I do this without the disc?

You need to use either Solaris Volume Manager, or Veritas Volume Manager. With clustering you need a disk manager that is cluster aware, iow, it needs to know that one disk can be accessed by more than one server at a time.
Have a look at chapter 3 in the Cluster installation manual for the steps to use Solaris Volume Manager. It's iportant to use the /dev/did disk names

I Opened A Strange Attachment, Do I need To Install Anti Virus Software?

I have Yahoo Mail and recently received some emails from myself with strange attachments. Similar emails were sent to random contacts in my Yahoo contact list. I did not send these emails. When I changed my email password, these emails stopped. However, I'm worried my iMac G5 (OS 10.6.4) has a virus because I opened one of the attachments. Also, could a worm virus on my IMac have caused these emails? Yahoo advised me to run anti-virus software. Do I need to run anti-virus software and if so, which one? I've been reading online that anti virus software can cause more harm than good and make your mac "buggy," whatever that means.

Yes, you read right! There are no known viruses that attack OS X and other exploits are very rare.
It sounds like your email address is being spoofed.

This means that infected PC is going through its contact list and sending spoofed as that address.
There's nothing you can do but alert your PC friends.
EDIT: Are these emails actually being sent by your Mac? Check in Sent mail folder?
If you feel you MUST run AV software to prove you have nothing , do a scan with ClamXav a mac friendly freeware app.

"Response Code" needed to install CS3 (upgrade from CS2) - cannot get through on 'chat'

How do I get a Response Code for installing CS3 (upgraded from CS2) on a new computer? I used to be able to call for the code but there is no phone support anymore. I have spent 3 days trying to connect through chat which is supposed to be available 24/7 and it says 'chat is unavailable at this time'. I have no way of installing my software. Please help adobe.

Okay so I spent a further 2 hours on hold this morning and actually forgot I was on hold until I heard the beep beep beep of disconnection! GARRRRRR
Anyway, after a nice visit from my family to celebrate my birthday, i got back on the phone this afternoon.
5 minutes later I was speaking to a Technical Support guy who was extremely helpful, did not ask me to repeat trouble shooting steps I had already taken, listened to me carefully as I explained the problem and diagnosed, fixed and activated my software within 30 minutes.
Resolution of the problem: they gave me an updater checker response code which worked immediately. Ctrl/Shift+dbl click on the broken update cheker page and up came a back door screen. Just a few digits later and PRESTO my software is up and running like a dream. Activation was smooth and registration no problem.

Now i just have to figure out how to tell Acrobat Prof 8 where the damn .dll is on my 64 bit vista computer - having already installed acrobat professional without telling it where to look because I didn't think the install was going to work anyway. Dang.

Hi, does anybody know how to back my iPod touch up to a computer so I can wipe it clean and get rid of the pass code on it please? I've forgotten my passcode so can't get into my iPod....any help would be grateful, the simpler the better as I'm not very technically minded!!

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

we have locked ourselves out of the ipod and restored it to factory settings and it is still locking us out

YOu need to send device to a nokia care point .
