HT5191 Lost my ability to burn discs, unable to update to latest version, getting "beep" noise every time i select songs in itunes

Unable to burn discs, will not download lastest version of itunes, beep noise when selecting songs in my itues library

Some things that might help:
Restore one or all the devices as "new" and start from scratch.
Use playlists to control what syncs to the devices.
Create a "new" library in a different directory and see if that resolves the ongoing issue.

    You may have triggered some intermittent database issues but it should be running smooth by now. Let us know if you still see server errors.
    Also, if your addons appear to go missing after updating there is a workaround http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2011/09/28/issue-discovered-with-firefox-add-on-upgrades/ And there is a 7.0.1 fix on its way.

  • Unable to update to latest version of Adobe Muse.

    As you can see from the attached screen capture, I am having issues updating to the latest version of Adobe Muse. I am doing all of this via the update prompt that pops-up when I launch Muse.
    Any suggestions as to how to rectify this issue?

    Please follow the steps below in order to install Adobe Muse on your Mac machine :
    1) Ensure that Muse is completely uninstalled: drag Adobe Muse from the Applications folder to the trash and empty the trash.
    2) Download Muse from the following link: http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/adobemuse/builds/muse_2-3_install_mac.dmg.
    3) Install
    Please note that this build won't work if Muse is already installed; you must uninstall previous versions of Muse first.

  • Unable to update to latest version.

    FileHippo's update checker tells me that the latest version is Java Runtime Environment 8.0 build 5 (32-bit) 29.67MB, and that my installed version is 7.0.550.14.0, which is correct.
    However, the java.com website tells me that the latest version is Version 7 Update 55. 
    After downloading the file file suggested by FileHippo and running it, I am presented with the message
    "The procedure entry point RegDeleteKeyExA could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI.dll"
    What can I do to overcome this?
    And why does FileHippo claim that the latest version is not the same as that claimed by java.com?

  • Unable to install the latest version of Adobe Muse via Adobe Application Manager

    I´m a user of Creative Suite applications  and all of them have been updated successfully with the exception of the latest version of Adobe Muse.
    I´m unable to install it. I get error DW 050
    I´m using Windows 7 64 bit.
    All previous versions of Adobe Muse have been installed OK.
    Following a forum discussion I could read, I uninstalled the previous version, but the installation fails again.
    Does any body know how to solve this issue?

    Thank you for your help, however I have to get back to you to inform that after  downloading the new package based on the link that you´ve provided, I´m  still unable to execute the application.  I get the message: “block by the administrator”  and also another message: “the editor of this program is unknown and unsafe”. Please note that all other programs from Adobe´s Creative Cloud have been downloaded and installed with success. All Adobe Creative programs have been installed on my computer several months ago and all are working fine so far.  This morning I installed an update for Photoshop without  any problem. It seems that the problem persists only with Muse. I have to highlight that I´m the administrator of my PC and therefore all applications are currently being executed as administrator. I have never had the intention to block any program, including obviously Adobe´s Creative Suite programs.
    Could you please let me know how to splve this problem?

    Have you checked the execution plan if indexes are used?
    You could update the data in chunks, e.g. 10.000 rows per execution. For this you have to add a TOP clause and a filter to update only those, who are not updated yet.
    update TOP (10000) Employees
    set Status = 'Close'
    where statusid IN
    (select statusid
    from MyView
    where DownloadedDate ='2014-07-27 00:00:00.000')
    AND Status <> 'Close'

    This may be all we know, but the new discussions keep coming in, so I repaet my post of this evening:
    With all the discussion about problems with iTunes 11 for Windows, there is also now the problem of downloading the 11 install file at all. On 2 diff computers today, I have tried to download installer and it gets to "save file" then when clicked simply disappears. Nice magic trick, but not helpful to a long-time (and mostly happy til now) user of iTunes on Windows. If there are such serious problems with the installation and function of this "new" version, what the hex is Apple doing? A new corrected release? When? why all this mess wirth a program that has always worked? How about some answers Apple?

    Thank you Roger for your detailed explanation of how to resolve my problem, but it turns out that the Firefox did not like the download and when I went into IE it all went smoothly.  But I did learn a lot from following your instructions.
