HT5313 have they fixed the banding in iMovie yet

Does anyone know if apple have fixed the notorious banding problem in imovie 11 ?
The Quality of imovie 11 is now unusable for me.

I'm not sure if the switchable GPU drivers have been fixed, although with my T400 I've been using hibernation instead of putting my system in a sleep state as a temporary fix. If you decide to use sleep, you can switch from integrated to discrete, then back to integrated again and it should fix the power draw issue. I do hope a driver fix is forthcoming, as this problem is definitely kinda annoying.

I have had my t500 set on discreate only in bios to avoid the gpu double power draw problem when coming out of sleep. Has this been fixed yet? I would love to turn switchable graphics back on but its kinda a hassle just to check.

Have they fixed the audiobook problem yet?

The 5th generation ipod nanos had a problem where they couldn't play audiobooks in the correct order. All your books would show up in order of track number, so if you had 15 audio books, you'd see 15 "track 01" in a row, then 15 "track 02," etc. The only way around that seemed to be to create a playlist for each audio book, which was sort of a pain in the butt. I'm wondering if they've fixed this problem with the 6th gen ipod nano? Ideally the ipod nano would work as well as the iphone, where you dump all your audiobook files onto the device and each book shows up as its own thing and the tracks are numbered sequentially. Anyone know if they've fixed this problem with the gen 6 nanos?
Also, can anyone confirm that files (audiobook and non audiobook) can auto resume? I'm reading that people are having problems getting files to auto resume and wondering what people's experiences have been. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Most processes in Non destructive Video editing is based on that the raw-material is safe and intact. So by trashing it most things can or will go wrong.
So e.g. in iMovie project - there is NO Movie - just a small text document refering to Your raw-material, audio files and photos (within or not in iPhoto Library) on how they are to act together to Play Your Movie.
And by changing any of them the Movie project will be affected or destroyed.
reg. iDVD there is also a link back to iMovie - Most famous to set of the iDVD BUG !
To do that - one starts a new iDVD project and add movies etc. Then find something i one movie in need to be adjusted. Closing iDVD and returning to iMovie and doing this. Then when back to iDVD it will notice and ask You to Up-date or Cancel. Neither works. The iDVD project is harmed. All Chapters now point to Chapter One and more strange things happens.
the medicine I use - I start a brand new iDVD Project and re-do it and hopefully not fine any more to be fixed in the movie.
This indicates the strong link inbetween iDVD and iMovie and I would not touch anything in iMovie till DVD is Burned and Ready AND Plays Well !

I have tried using a different device. i have tried using a different cable. I have tried all of the steps given in the link supplied by Apple. None of these things have fixed my problem. I still have the Error Message "The Apple Mobile Device Service started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs or Alerts service. I am using Windows XP. I am leaning towards a last resort which would be to wipe my hard drive and start from scratch. Does anyone have a solution?

Let's start with iTunes.
Have you updated iTunes to 11.1.5, because the previous version did appear to have an issue about seeing iPods?
With iTunes 11.1.5 installed, look in Edit/Preferences/Devices, (or use the ALT key, followed by the E key and then the F key) and make sure that the box named Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically does not have a tick in the box.
Once you have doen those two things, check to see if the iPod is seen by iTunes.

Really?
OS stands for Operating System. (In computer speak, IO means Input/Output.)
iOS originally stood for iPhone Operating System, but it now refers to the iPod Touch and iPhone. The iPod Classic, which you have listed in your profile as your iPod, does not use iOS.
I assume that you have been listening to the Podcast in your iTunes on the computer as you cannot transfer it to your iPod. It's what I'd do.

These two things need to be remedied in their upgrades because It's become such a bother I've had to revert to older versions of PS.

Yea, and it's a pain to get to. What was the rational for removing the print size button? With the magnifying glass tool selected in older versions of Photoshop you would get a button that says "print size" right next to Actual pixels, Fit Screen, Fill Screen. Now I have to go out of my way and dig for it if I want to see the print size. Of all the buttons you could have taken away, why not fill screen? I never use that.
Besides the point I just downloaded the Oct Upgrade for PS and surprise! Nothing has changed and these are two big black eyes on newer versions of Photoshop. The Brush preview window is unchanged in CC but in CC2014 it's basically worthless. If you apply a texture to a brush you can't properly see the scale of the texture, the spacing, scatter, etc...

They fixed the right click problem, but now there is a bigger problem

after updating, I can use my right click perfectly on Windows XP. however, my windows XP starts to restart very often-which means the "blue-sceen" comes out very often. I believe many poeple has this problem because I had already read couple of complains...Well...I hope apple can fix it soon.

I could not right click on my macbook's Precision aluminum unibody enclosure under windows xp, and after updating the trobubleshooter, it works. However, my windows starts to restart again and again (the blue screen) and it says it is because the applemtp.sys has some problems. I read couple of others people's experiences on the Internet, and they all so it started to happen after they fix the right click problem.

I have had my Zen Micro for about 3 months now, and I never rip out the headphones, etc (I am very carefull with my electronics).
But today while I was using my player I noticed that the sound would cut in and out, and do other
distortions.. so I get home and try the Zen Micro with 3 other pairs of headphones (including the ones that came with it - I was using a 90 degree ear bud ones from Sony, they fit my ears better) and they all
do the same cutting in and out..
So I hit up these boards and see that I'm not the only one with this problem.
My question is (may have been answered before), what can I do about this? Am I going to have to RMA
it to Creative? Or are the newer models not having this problem (I have a service plan from where I bought it.. but if they are going to crap out too.. may as well send it to Creative and have them fix it on their cost, not mine)?

The flash on my iPod touch 5 worked fine until I upgraded to iOS 7. I have made all the updates to 7.0.2, but none have addressed fixing the flash. When is Apple going to issue an update that will include fixing this problem?

I've seen several discussions on the camera flash for iPhone and iPod Touch 5 wherein the flash doesn't work or is out of sync. Mine was fine until I upgraded to iOS 7. Despite being current with the new updates, there has been nothing to fix the flash.

Try:

- Reset all settings

I am at the crucial stage where i need to choose either an ipod mini or creative zen micro. Thing is i have read about the zen's breaking to say the least and wondered if anything had been done by creative to stop this, ie. an updated zen which doesn't break.
I dont read many stories about ipods breaking so i am starting to wai'ver towards them Any info would be great. Would be really good if it was someone who worked for Creative but that would be getting my hopes up.

This might help you out on deciding on the ipod mini and zen micro. As for the headphone jack, I don't know if anyone ever has problems with the 4GB and 6GB but you still have to wait and see. If it is the same, I suggest you provide absolute care to your MP3 players.

It took some getting used to (Rio's was more of a manual-type thing). I liked the navigation pretty well, and the sound quality was good -- I agree with the lack of bass -- if you use a custom EQ, it's better, but still slightly lacking. The click-wheel wasn't all it was cracked up to be, IMO, but it was still cool. I didn't like having to use that proprietary cable. Also, since I couldn't really turn the player off, I was always worried about whether it was in my pocket draining battery. It never became a problem though, what with the battery life being 8 hours or so. I *LOVED* that. I also loved its stability. Not a single crash or hesitation at all. It was very durable. TOTALLY unlike my Rio. I also really liked having a whole "industry" devoted to this thing. Any accessory I might want existed, and there's neat stuff like Linux on the ipod that really piques my interest.
After a few weeks I returned it and now I have the Zen Micro. This is my fourth day with it. My interest in this player was its awesome appearance, the Creative name, and most especially -- its support of Napster 2 Go. I have been dying to try it for a while. I got the Napster service a month ago, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. So having a player that can use it is something I want. After loading the beta firmware for N2G, it worked great. No problems at all. But then yesterday, it all of the sudden crashed during a song with "Firmware Problem" as the error. So I downgraded to the newest non-beta, then back to the beta version and it's working better than before. The N2G service has worked VERY well with it. My only caveat is that you shouldn't use Napster for syncing the player. It is slow as hell. Download the tracks, then use Windows Media Player. That really kicked ass when I discovered how much better it was yesterday. Transfer speed went from so slow I dreaded loading music to not even considering how much time it takes. The player itself is still taking some getting used to. I was completely blown away by the great package of stuff I got in the box. Mine is one of the older stock with the AC adapter and the hard case. Those have been HUGE additions in the Zen Micro's favor. I love having a standard USB plug, and having an on/off switch. The navigation takes some getting used to, and there are some improvements I'd like to see, but on the whole I'm starting to like it. The sound from this player is better than the ipod with the EQ off. Bass is definitely better than the ipod -- I listen to a lot of Rap and Hip Hop, and it sounds a little better on the Zen Micro. The battery life hasn't hurt me yet, but I'm sure it will eventually. Also, this thing scratches so easily!! I've started using the belt-clip now, and after finally getting used to it, I kind of like it. After that one crash, this thing has really performed beautifully, and now I'm taking the approach that this will be the player I keep. I am very happy about having N2G support and good sound quality in the best looking gadget around.
That said, if Napster to Go Support weren't important, I think I might go back to the mini because of the large number of accessories and the successful quality track-record. But this thing is just awesome. You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.
