Only if you do not have it scheduled. You administer the schedule in Settings, Notifications, Do Not Disturb. If you schedule it, then you do not have to turn the switch on in Settings. If you use the switch, then it is manually turned off and on. Once you turn it on it is on until you turn it off, and if it is off, it is off until you turn it back on again.

SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

I am enabling the next button in Captivate 7 quiz slide. I am using these slides as CYUs. When I publish the slides, the web version looks fine, but the HTML 5 output shows the next button with faded look. I tried creating a new quiz slide from a separate file and inserting here. still the same issue is cropping. Please help in resolving this issue.

My next question - I have a open course menu (TOC). If the learner clicks the Knowledge check page, the knowledge check page is visible, but if you click any other page from knowledge check, it is not going...... by default, it takes to the next page. thx for your reply - apparently when I went to the Apple store a long time ago, they restore maybe photos and itunes etc from my external hard drive (passport). I guess at that time they reinstalled an earlier operating system than my macbook came with and that somehow corrupted FileVault. apparently there was no sparse bundle (whatever that is) for my old admin account and they said that ever since the install of the older OS that it was actually NEVER backing up anything in my admin account.
Then, I bought Time Capsule and starting backing up to that instead. I started having problems with it being slow etc and then StartUp Disk full errors and didn't know what to do, so I "Restored" from Time Capsule and that's when I lost everything in my Admin account and was locked out when I tried to log in - it said File Vault error ..."
anyway - that's THAT sad story. I was told to create a new admin account and I've basically been trying to start over - even though I have a partial save of my computer in Crash Plan and I DO see a sparse bundle listed in there, but I just don't know enough about computers to know if it's something I can get back or if I am just totally doomed.
I'm afraid to reinstall anything because if there is even a remote shot that the other files are still floating around in my computer, I feel like that chance will be shot forever. I need to hire McGee from NCIS, I just KNOW he could get those files back for me!!!

Then back it up and do a restore. If that does not work and if you are still under warranty, call Apple tech support or take the iPod to your local Apple Store or an AASP.

When you go to the download page, you must do two things:
Download this file: PhSp_CS2_English.exe on the download page.
Use the serial number on the download page in order to install your non-activation copy.
Do not use your old CD or serial number. It no longer works.
If you have Windows 7, the advice is to turn off UAC and run the installer as Administrator.

It's likely that one of your login items is causing the problem. Select the Login Items tab in the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences. Delete any items that you don't recognize.

I have troubles enabling the cookies, even though I never disabled them, thus I cannot log into my GMAIL account for over two weeks now. What should I do?

I cannot log into my gmail or facebook account, because it says: cookies are disabled, enable cookies to continue. I tried changing my settings in Firefox - Options - Settings - Privacy - Use custom settings. I did exactly what I was advised in the Firefox Help online, enabled everything, then clicked OK. Didnt work. Tried it again and I only found that the settings (custom settings - enabled everything) were not even saved. I am not able to save these custom settings any way, it never saves them no matter how many times I try and click ok, I come back to the setting to find that they are not there. So I tried clearing all the cookies and cache in history (also found this online in firefox support site), guess what? DIDNT WORK. I am starting to be a little bit pissed off as I cannot log into my gmail or facebook account for over two weeks now! Any time I need to check e-mails I have to use someones laptop.

If the cookies are enabled in Firefox and you still have problems then you may have security software that is blocking cookies.
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Is there a way to schedule the do not disturb to have different schedules for weekend vs weekday?

I checked my iPad and I could find no way to distinquish between week and weekend scheduled privacy.

This option is available since java 6 u 10, and is accessible via windows control panel, or alternatively via javacpl.exe.
Which are the cases where the option is grayed out?
I've made the assumption that it is grayed out on windows 7, or on windows 7 64, but there are cases of windows 7 64 where the option isn't grayed out.
It seem neither connected with Internet Explorer version, since it works or not with either IE 8 or IE 9.
